It is not intellectually sound to compare Lagos with any other state in Nigeria. We have the population here, Lagos was the capital before, major corporate headquarters are here, the port is here, and many industries are here. If you want to compare Lagos with any other city, look at other major cities in Africa like Joburg, Cairo, Nairobi, Casablanca..Addis Ababa...e.t.c.

Mind you, all the attractions of Lagos are not because the state government at different periods has done anything much.........It is just because of the status of the city since 1900.

I have a friend who owns a business at a big market in Lagos, he makes between 3million - 8million monthly and he is below 40yrs and own lots of properties on Lagos Island, Onitsha and Aba, so u are right with your last statement
