Xavi had 66 career assists over his 17 year spell in the Barca first team. That's less than 4 assists per season. Xavi lacks vision according to your terrible logic.

Xavi came to prominence in 2007 and disappeared after 2013.

Before that Xavi sat often for Deco. After 2013, his ankle problems and age restrictred him to a bit part role.

Without even checking I can promise you 85-90% of his assists were in those 6 years.

Strip away freekicks and corners, Zidane, Xavi, Lampard, Gerrard, Fab4, Debruyne etc all assist roughly 10 goals a season from quick through passes that break defence line.

For Modric that number is 3.
