Rap Battles › Re: * * * ~ Battle Of The Warlords : Cooger Vs Siddoggg ~ * * * by Ibime(m): 10:33pm On Aug 22, 2014
Coogar got thís mehn. His punches were unique so definitely they were clean.

Sidd came with a decent verse but Coog took it scientific with good vocab, all round general knowledge and some good wordplays.

Meanwhile Mik try and regulate line limits for future battles cos both these guys came with way over 24 lines.

Good battle, but quite one sided.

U1: It's pardonable in your own case. But for veterans like Ibime and A40, huh? huh I still think game week 1 is insufficient to judge players you want to keep long term. Some players could turn out to be one-hit wonder.
Bros, watch your team lemme watch mine. Ibimes style is unique. I have always played WC in the first week and Terminators is yet to finish above Ipukulu

Nihilist: Veteran manager Ibime once closed a 200point gap to claim a top 5 finish in seasons past, but many suspect that he no longer lacks the ability to compete at the top of the game, and is currently 19/18 at raumdeuter bookies to be the 1st managerial casualty of the season.
Correction, he closed a 200 point gap to WIN the league in 2012. Comeback of the century. Coogar was me victim. grin

Rami is the most technically deficient central midfielder to ever play for Chelsea. I have seen them all from Eddie Newton to Dennis Wise, Di Matteo to Sam Dalla Bona, Gus Poyet, Jokanovic etc. Rami is the only one amongst them who can't comfortably trap a ball and keep it within his sphere or circumference where the opponent cannot get it. Every touch runs away from him, then he goes chasing.

Nihilist: Rojo fits what profile?

The same Rojo that could not terrify Ahmed Musa in the world cup?

The same Rojo that Emenike ate like chewing gum during the world cup?

This same Rojo?

Rojopolo. Be fair man, it was Zabaleta that Ahmed Musa terrorised.

AirborneLacer: ''Fabregas and Matic controlled the game, the intensity of the game, they were choosing how to play; when to increase pace and decrease pace'' - Jose
I'd love to see more of this damn midfield play.
Don't forget he also added "something our midfielders were not able to do last season".

Mikel and Ramires should take note, as well as their sponsor Emenalo whose been fighting to make those two our first choice midfield pairing for the last 3 years.

2 leftbacks for £43m, yet still a gaping hole in central midfield and dumb and dumber (Smalling and Jones) at the back. Not to mention the £40m spent on a lazy no10 when three no10s were already at the club. Clueless transfer policy.

Paul Scholes: Ipukulu Marines will struggle to finish in the top four.

Following the opening day home defeat to Swansea, Ipukulu legend Paul Scholes believes Ipukulu Marines manager Tubobereni Waridabo Ebenibo-Douglas needs to buy at least four world class players just to finish in the top four. Saturday's result has sent shockwaves through the FPL and it is believed that Ipukulu Chairman Ibinabo Biebele Woodward has been in negotiations with several agents since Monday to secure some much needed signings.

Manager Tubobereni Waridabo Ebenibo-Douglas has promised new signings in an interview with the Wakirike Post stating "fans should just watch out for my team thís weekend. I have sold most of the previous losers to Warri Wolves and Hearts of Oak and replaced them with Internationally renowned players. Fans should be patient and watch thís space."

Ebenibo-Douglas will be hoping these signings gel quickly as club owner Goodloaf Timpolo is known for his trigger finger as previous managers have found to their cost.

sephia: Mourinho likes Mikel. For whatever reason, I don't know. Mikel must be a loyal lap dog.
Jose does not like Mikel. Chelseas been hawking him around all summer for £5m.

How many times did he play last season? Even Luiz was preferred to him even after Jose swore that Luiz is not a midfielder.

The only ninja that is keeping Mikel at Chelsea is Emenalo, and the £90k contract he gave him that no one is willing to take on.

nateevs: Insight guys, insight.

Schurrle is a 15 goals a season player max and solid defensively. Hazard is explosive raw potential, one if harnessed and managed properly can make easily a 20 goals plus, 20 assists plus payer. Hazard is the sort you consider, future WPOTY. Whether he gets there is up for debate.

Hazard is the only player in the PL that is marked out by 3 players constantly. Even United did it. No other Chelsea players gets this much attention. Someone calling Hazard average. He's 23. To put things in perspective, he's only 6 months older than Gael Kakuta.

@Lalaboi

You cannot call Hazard's assist numbers average when you argue we played without a strong strike-force last season. If our strike force scored only a third of the chances creates by Hazard, he will be close to 20 assists. I bet no one will be calling Hazard average then. Only those ball-watching claim Hazard is coming in and out. I am not saying Hazard has reached the level of performance desired of him, he is definitely far from average. Perhaps you all are expecting him to peak by now, that's a different debate. Opta stats attached for you. Nobody (considering being only in their second PL season) tops these stats charts by being average. How do you explain someone who creates 92 chances in the whole season as inconsistent?

In the other question, can Schurrle, Wilian and Salah create 50 chances?

We all want Hazard's number to increase. Especially goals. But bear in mind that if Hazard's creativity increases, it will be taking him into genius category at age 24. How then can we be arguing at the same time that this same player is not crucial to Chelsea?
It doesn't matter how good Hazard is, his replacements are not shabby.

However the replacements for Matic and Costa is like going from elation to disaster.

We can win the league today if Hazard breaks his leg. We can not win the league if Matic or Costa break their legs. Simples.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:28am On Aug 18, 2014
nateevs: Wrong about Hazard. We lost the UCL last season because Hazard got injured in the first 10mins of the first leg and was clearly unfit to play in the second leg. In the league, we weren't doing fine without him. Without his 14 goals and 7 assists, we will be even further away.

No single player in the Chelsea squad can come near what Hazard brings to the table. Hazard is the only player in the squad that can play in the hole and on either flank without breaking consistency of output. Without Hazard, what we have in the team is unproductive width; with ninjas like Willian scoring only 4 goals in the league season long and the likes of Salah who hasn't received the memo of when to shoot/pass. Even before the season starts, I can confidently tell you that Hazard, if played, will be involved in over 70% of Costa goals.

If Hazard is out, we could quite easily be ordinary in attack.

We still need to wait and see what Fab brings in a 'Mourinho Chelsea'. We all hope Fab blends right in and becomes an integral part of the jig-saw however something keeps telling me Chelsea could never have been Fab's first choice and that there's some fighting ahead.

It's easy to call upon history but JM doesn't play like Barca and Arsenal. Likewise Fab isn't used to playing with the likes of Ramires. It's counter-attack, it's direct and many times boring and annoying football. It's mental hard-work and no one knows if Fab is caught out for this style of football. If Hazard complained about the style of football after our UCL exit last season, I can't see why Fab wouldn't if it gets really bad. Over a season, things change quickly. Therefore it's too early to predict that Fab out means Chelsea out.

In my opinion, the only two players that have irreplaceable output are Hazard and Costa. Everyone else, with a degree of change to the tactics, is replaceable.
Na so you been dey shout when we sell Mata that he is irreplaceable.

Matic is more important to Chelsea than Hazard. I did not mention Fabregas, although I'm sure he will prove indispensible in time.

If Matic injure, fall back to Mikel = disaster.
If Hazard injure, fall back to Schurle - who can easily score and assist as many as Hazard whilst keeping width better and being more defensively solid.

Schurrle is a 15 goal a season man just like Hazard. But if you downgrade from Matic to Mikel, na die you dey.

Against PSG was when Hazard got injured, Schurrle came on and got us into the game. Against Atleti, Hazard came back and lost us the game - twice.

Nihilist: You mean the same Hazard who we relied on so heavily last season is the one that is suddenly dispensable?

Ibime you astound me sometimes....
Whether you like it or not, those 3 players I listed are more important to Chelsea than Hazard. I would rather Hazard miss the whole season than for Matic and Costa to miss even 2 months.

Nihilist: Injuries to Hazard, Matic, Costa and Fabregas and we're suddenly looking very ordinary
Corrected!

Injury to Hazard will not slow us down even if he breaks his leg tomorrow. We have more than enough width in the team. If you ask me sef, I prefer Schurrle in certain games, depending on the strength of the opposition.

Infact when he got injured last season, we did alright, it was when he returned from that we lost the UCL and the league.
