nitlad: The MAZACAR trium-virate was going strong, what is Mourinho trying prove breaking it up?
Which tiumvirate was on the pitch last night when result turned from 1-0 to 2-1?

So triumvirate was going strong? Is that why they exited UCL last season, lost scandalously in Club World Cup and struggled in the league?

Going strong indeed!

We have no problem with MaZaCar, we only keep asking the powers that be to support them in the way they should be supported, not buying all the no 10s in the world to compete with them.

Look, you are newcomer to this argument. We are addressing long-term structural flaws in the team, some peeps just wanna talk about Basle as if West Ham, Corinthians and Newcastle results have not been happening. Over time, flaws in the team will surface.

I agree with your point on Jose not addressing issues, but Jose just came in the door and we all know he's been making compromises. How about the man whose been overseeing this team for the last two years? Some folks lambasted RDM to high heavens last year claiming Jose would make him look like a schoolboy with this same team. This is our ongoing argument. Is Emenalo incompetent or not? We all know Jose is VERY COMPETENT!

nateevs: Most people on the web are giving views from a tactical approach. Analysing what went wrong from playing point of view. Some are busy talking about steel. As someone mentioned earlier, is Essien not steel enough. Abi na Emenalo drop am for CL?

Most of those views mirror my point - a point I have never stopped talking about. A team must have an identity. A method of attack. There must be relationship and understanding in transition from defence to attack. It must be engineered, it must be coached and most importantly, it has to be built around your best players.

Carry Gustavo and Paulinho put inside, if you cannot move the ball into attack with a clear plan, what would be left to balance?
RDM = poor coaching

Benitez = poor coaching

JM = poor coaching

Just STFU with tired arguments year on year, IGNORAMUS!!!

Are you not the same bloke who told us JM would make RDM look like a rookie with the same team? You showed us how JM would organise the team, now you are talking nonsense.

This fool said this EXACT SAME THING when RDM was sacked. Ninja on repeat. Can't organise, no clear plan, bla bla bla. Broken record.

Just last week, he was praising JM's organisation to high heavens.

Who is the one who transitions ball from defence to attack? The no4 of course! The same midfield Emenalo sees no problem with, busy chasing Willian up and down the place.

Transition ko, transition ni. Mikel can distribute, he cant defend. Ramires can defend, he cant distribute. Same ol', same ol' nonsense we keep arguing.

Ferrari without engine will be driven like a fiat. Thats why the fork Hazard and co are being made to do engine work.

Nincompoop, why didn't Mike Forde offer to resign when JM was coming in? Shebi he is the real power behind the transfer policy. He-Goat!!!

FBS: walahi Ibime I understand your points and some of them are valid. My question is this, why is he playing to Emenalo's scripts?
Could it be that he (JM) feels that he is capable of getting good results with the squad he inherited? Many of us can't even understand why Chelsea bought Willian, Sule cheesy and co. Are they JM type of players?
That is Mourinho's mistake. He is playing too nice and not trying to cause friction with RA like last time.

My only beef is this - SOME FAMOUS NINCOMPOOP will not come here and admit after 12 months of the same issues that yes, all of his arguments against RDM over the last 12 months are rubbish, and true, true, just like Ibime argues, Emenalo was to blame for the hand he dealt RDM and Benitez last season.

Just couple weeks ago, same nincompoop was using Jose to prove that there is no inbalance.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:45am On Sep 19, 2013
How come everyone sees the inbalance in the team except the famous nincompoop?

EVERTON EXPOSE FRAIL CHELSEA

For a manager whose outstanding seasons have included a near-impregnable back five it is surprising José Mourinho did not shore up Chelsea's susceptible defence in the summer. Centre-back and central midfield were the areas of concern from just a quick glance at Saturday's line-up at Everton and although only one goal was enough the Toffees might reflect they should have scored more.

Chelsea should feel that way too, after a profligate first 45. They were too frivolous in the final third and too arrogant in thinking their backline could repel any threat Everton offered. The obvious problem, oddly for a Mourinho ensemble, it is an unbalanced squad. Defensively, they are too dawdling and disjointed and there is not a competent defensive midfielder to shield the back four.

debosky: Fact - you don't need a so called 'balanced' squad before you can defeat Basel at home. Benitez did it. You can take that to the bank. cool
Did Benitez need a "balanced" squad to lose scandalously to West Ham, Newcastle, Southampton and Corinthians?

If Jose beats West Ham, are you gonna claim Benitez is a fool? No!

Lack of balance can affect a team whenever.

Every year, new managers being compared. Every year same discussions. Same template - Emenalo's squad!!!

I will no longer discuss these same nonsense issues. I thought 12 months after we had these EXACT SAME DISCUSSIONS after RDM's sacking, another manager should have vindicated Emenalo by now.

Since no such manager is forthcoming that can get this team consistent. . . . . easy answer - Emenalo is incompetent!!

Now some folks are telling us last season we won at Manure etc but forget to mention humiliations against West Ham, Newcastle and Southampton.

Thats what happens when your squad is feeble like Arsenal, you never know when you will lose due to weak resistance. Fools saying Jose at fault for not goin all out, Mata and bla bla bla. Mata was on the pitch when we were disgraced at Corinthians, West Ham, Newcastle and Southampton. Now its Basle, suddenly Mata is the saviour and Benitez proves Jose is rubbish. If Jose beats Swansea tomorrow, would I be telling fools that Benitez lost to Swansea? No!

The same way Arsenal will lose to Bolton, Villa, Bradford is the same way Chelseas midfield weakness can be exposed at any time.

Ballack, Carragher and Redknapp already highlighted how Basle pammed through non-existent Chelsea midfield yesterday under weak resistance. The ninnys could not resist.

The transmorgification of Chelsea to Arsenal continues.

Some fool who said Jose will prove that RDM was too gung-ho and could not organise defensively now coming too tell us Jose is too defensive.

http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/desailly-mourinho-unhappy-chelsea-squad-balance-3980703

Former Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly believes Jose Mourinho is unhappy with the balance of his squad.

His side suffered their first defeat of the season at Everton on Saturday and have now made the club’s worst start to a campaign in the Roman Abramovich era.

Desailly said: “Jose has had his hands tied. He has not been able to buy the players he wanted because Chelsea told him that Eden Hazard, Oscar, Juan Mata and Fernando Torres were the key players and he was not going to be able to change them.

“The fans are not going to enjoy this year because Mourinho will play very defensively.”

Some nincompoops told us last season RDM is a fool who was supposed to drag Mata and Hazard back to defend. It was all RDMs fault for not instilling defensive responsibility in his ninnys.

Now Jose is at fault for giving them defensive responsibility.

He is stifling them abi? But RDM was letting them run too loose abi? What was their performance like when they were running loose? All comes back to the same thing - no midfield to balance them.

Hey stupid ninja, don't we have enough attacking midfielders now? That was your argument last season - no depth to replace Mata and Hazard abi? Blind bat, what's the next excuse? Still nothing wrong with the midfield balance. Of course nincompoop must never be seen to concede that argument.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 6:47am On Sep 19, 2013
Was Mata not on pitch last season when we had similar results.

Was the score not 1-0 when Mata came in last night.

WTF does Mata have to do with losing the game. Is he a ball winner?

I remember the famous nincompoop told us last season that the reason Benitez was struggling is that he only has Mata and Hazard. The nincompoops solution was that we needed more Matas and Hazards and the only reason we were losing is that they were tired. The nincompoop told us it has nothing to do with getting more solid players, we just needed more attacking midfielders. Now we have a hundred attacking midfields, why do we have the same issue?

Instead of a nincompoop to admit Emenalo's culpability, yet another manager being blamed for Emenalos foolishness. At least we know RDM and Benitez had no say in their squad so let's first own up that Emenalo was incompetent last year if we wanna blame Jose this year.

It's Jose's fault for playing happy campers with incompetent bozos and following their "technical direction." I accept that. Now Jose must stamp his own signature on the team.

Jose has over a decade of performance in football. Emenalo is yet to have ONE SINGLE GOOD SEASON with the squads he puts together.

I done talk my own finish. Aluta continue.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m):
debosky: Did Benitez lose at home to Basel? Revisionism at its best. Why on God's green earth does JM need more players to defeat this ordinary Basel side? That's the simple question you're too dim to consider.
Whether Basle or Everton (Jose), West Ham, Southampton, Newcastle or Corinthians (Benitez) or Shakhtar or Juventus (RDM), the same reasons persist. Not enough steel, ball winners and midfield controllers. Tomorrow it could be Swansea or Aston Villa. At some point, Chelsea's innate weakness will be exposed. 12 months ago, you all claimed RDM was a bozo, but even Bill Shankly will have problems with the imbalance in this team.

I follow my team and I know the arguments and opinions of all the key players, whether Jose, Emenalo or RA.

Summer time, I said "Jose better open his eye and solidify this midfield otherwise he is on a long ting"

Nateevs said "How come Jose does not recognise the weakness in midfield. Maybe this weakness doesn't exist or Jose would have seen it"

OK I accept. It is Jose's fault for thinking he could turn water to wine. . . .maybe he was being too diplomatic on his return, and going with Emenalo/RA blueprint of overstocking on ninnys. But as we know, this team composition is out of character for Jose so we know it is not his fingerprint on this team. Infact he spends most of his time distancing himself from the team by claiming they are too young and he prefers older players. At most, we will accuse him of being too diplomatic or appeasing RA too much. Its his fault. But who owns the team is the one who scouted and signed all the players and spent the hundreds of millions on them.

So lets open the books:

Who is the one resistant to adding steel to this team for over two years? Check all the transfer targets, check all the signings, check all the past arguments with coaches:

Start of last season: Emenalo draws blueprint midfield with Mikel and Ramires. I complained. Check the links. Don't have time to find them.

RDM complained of midfield balance. I provided links for all of these. Emenalo blocked him.

Benitez comes in:

Rafa Benitez has shown his hand as the January transfer window draws closer, and the Chelsea manager is wise to make signing a defensive midfielder his first priority

Benitez: "You need to know the players and find the balance. If you have too many players with quality - these players we were talking about, all dynamic but cannot regain the ball - you do not have the balance. If you give the ball away, you have to regain [it]."

Fast forward: Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez faces frustration in the final days of the winter market. Benitez wants to sign a holding midfielder, having concluded the team do not distribute the ball quickly enough from defence to attack. But Blues football chief Michael Emenalo and the board are reluctant to commit to a major signing in January.

Some other links would tell you Emenalo argued against him in board room. Benitez came live on Sky to say "I am not trying to point fingers at anyone but this team is light in midfield".

Benitez struggled on with the same problems in midfield till he had to draft in Luiz out of exasperation.

Emenalo has entrenched his arguments over the last year that poor coaching rather than poor squad building is to blame.

Jose is now here to prove him right. But Jose is facing same issues. And I blame Jose completely for that. Like someone said, Jose must stamp authority on this team regardless whose ox is gored.

Whether you want to blame RA or Emenalo, I don't care. Maybe RA is fed up of muscle players from the past and Emenalo is pursuing his fantasies. I don't care.

Fact is, every Emenalo transfer target is an exercise in foolishness. How many Brumas, Taisons, Willians and no 10s will cure the fact that your team cannot win the ball back and lacks balance?

RDM is vindicated. Aluta continue with your ninny policy.

Whether you say its Jose's fault, I agree. RDM and Benitez had no say in the matter but Jose does. Still, that does not change the fact that Emenalo has proved his incompetence WITHOUT QUESTION!!!!

How many coaches at Hamburg got fired before Arnesen finally got the blame? Jose is rubbish, Benitez is rubbish, RDM is rubbish, but Emenalo is competent abi?

How many managers will continue to be blamed whilst Emenalo spends hundreds of millions and churn out the same teams with the same faults every year?

debosky: Revisionist. You were insulting Benitez not so? Now you're back to the Emenalo song. Nothing is ever the fault of your favourite - it must be someone else's cheesy
You are an eediot. I stated from day one, there is nothing Benitez can do fantastic with the team given to him.

Some dudes told us RDM was incompetent, and Emenalo is a saint. Yet Benitez faced same problems and now Jose. So it's either all these managers are incompetent or Emenalo is incompetent.

Jose must take the blame for not changing things (I've even said Jose is kidding himself thinking he can win with this midfield) but now we have clear proof that Emenalo was the culprit in RDMs struggles. The same team HE BUILT in Benitez and Jose's hands is rubbish. Some told US it was all RDMs fault. We see now it wasn't.

FBS: Was he forced into doing this? When did Jose become a yes man?
Don't ask me but he came in reading another man's script.

We all know what Jose would go for first, solidify the midfield first then build from there.

Instead we saw Willian, Schurrle and Van Ginkel come in. All Emenalos targets for the last two years.

And no talk of a solid midfield. Same old story over again. It happened to RDM, it happened to Benitez and now same thing happening to Jose. At least those three have proved their competence at various stages, the only man yet to prove his competence is the man directing transfer policy.

I believe that Mikel's performances in the last AFCON and the Confederations Cup (as a CM/AM) sealed his place at Chelsea. I agree that, sometimes, he is found wanting defensively at both Chelsea and Nigeria. The key difference is that with the Super Eagles, Onazi is energetic enough to track opponent's runs into the last 3rd; at CFC there is not yet a typical DM work-horse that can do the job effectively.
I agree that a DM should be bought in January.
Onazi is MikeIs backbone in National team but Sunday Mba also does his work.

Mikel can't survive a 4-2-3-1 with Mata in front of him or the AMs we have.

He aint sealed no place in Chelsea jare. Wetin concern Chelsea with Super Eagles? Ask Victor Moses!

Add up Mikels total no of games for Chelsea since 2006. In the same time period add up Lampards goals + assists. Which one is higher? In other words, Mikel is too unproductive to play anywhere higher up for a club like Chelsea. I'd rather take chance on Van Ginkel or buy someone else. We are not sending him there to sell Akara. It's his lack of drive and clinical ruthlessness that got him drafted to DM in the first place!

Dude is P Squares mate. Anyone thinking of future for him is engaging in excercise of self-deception. All his mates like Taye Taiwo, Promise Isaac, Nsofor and Chinedu Obasi are getting ready to retire. Save those deceptions for oyibo people who know no better. Mikel has no true future prospect in a serious club like Chelsea.

i really think he's one of chelsea's best players each time i have seen him play.

it seems nateevs/ibime are high on crack!
Let those who wear the shoe tell you where it pinches. Every other man's wife looks attractive until you marry her and live with her.

Any possession Ramires receives is when the opposition vacate the midfield. If opposition is in midfield he starts hiding. He is certainly not one to show for the ball with players around him. How can someone who gets benched for David Luiz be considered a good midfielder?

debosky: What composure? Go look at the goal again - Mikel was casually walking back to the box while Everton was attacking. It was probably Mikel's snail-like approach that made Luiz jump out to attempt a tackle.
What's new? Every year the same discussions. When will Chelsea realise their midfield is not fit for purpose? Those bozos better ready bid for Nemanja Matic + one other in January before I lose my composure. What kinda eediot rejected bid from Galatasaray for an old sloth who 32 year old P Square refer to as their "big brother"?

One cannot make a silk purse from a pig's ear. Every year the same phocking issues in midfield whilst myopic idealists keep chasing attacking midfielders up and down the globe. Possession footie starts with the no4 and he must also be energetic enough to track runners. Both Mikel and Ramires are severely deficient in one of these areas yet some red-cap wearing technical director is too myopic to see this, arguing severally with different managers over the last year about the existence of any problem, whilst Jose solution to the problem is to sit everyone behind the halfway line and plump for Ramires due to his preponderance for hardwork. Jose is already under pressure one month in due to Ramires brain farts and we all know how Jose throws his toys out the pram if he is not leading from the front. Nonsense!
Every relationship needs a spark! No matter how long you both have been together; there would always be a time when everything looks boring. A time when it seems the touch and feeling of romance is lost. It isn't a spell or a fault from any of you two, it’s a natural occurrence. It's just like a sudden silence in the middle of a conversation where everyone seems to be without words. Likewise in relationships, there are moments of silence; moments when certain things look too usual or over-used, moments when the regular things becomes deadening. This is different from saving a dying relationship , it's about the spark! Every day, you probably talk for hours over the phone and you got nothing new to say. You probably see your partner everyday and the face becomes too familiar or maybe you are just finding a way of reviving your boring intimate life. Whichever phase your relationship is experiencing now, you've got some crazy but amazing tips right here to give it that much needed spark. Be aware that these tips aren't common. They’re not the everyday romance epistles. They work like an unexpected jab to the jaw and do powers your relationship back on track. Now, let get it:

CAUSE A FIGHT
Yes! This may look strange but very effective. The major part of your relationship that would be affected is the over-familiarity side between you both and that's very much a positive one. Having a little fight in a relationship is the easiest and fastest way to spark it up. It will bring about a slight separation and that will cause you both to miss each other though less on you since you planned it. It makes us appreciate our partner more. Those little things like the text messages, phone calls and whatnot that paused as a result of the little fight, awakens us to recognize the importance they have on us. Make sure it's a 'little' fight, meaning, what will cause it should be something of little importance that could make you both doubt your level of maturity when you get over it.

JAIL YOURSELF
The fact is, in a relationship, we appreciate our partner more when we miss them. Make yourself unavailable for a while. Deny your partner your physical presence: a good excuse would do. In every relationship, there is this possibility of being taking for granted when we see our loved ones regularly. The point is if your partner truly loves you, seeing you again after your few days of personal jail term would be like Christmas.

SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE
As a lady, can you express that sweet feeling when your man goes: "where have you been? What happened to your phone? I've been trying your mobile for the past 5 hours. You kept me so worried. Thank goodness I got you! . . . blah, blah, blah!" LOL. Sincerely, hearing that, any lady would feel special. Imagine the genuineness of the expression on his face, the serious look like that of a kid craving for more chocolates . . . Lady, that special feeling of been loved could make a monkey look beautiful. LOL. Yeah! That's the essence. It sure works at max! That’s the spark, doing that once-a-while is a good deal to refreshing your relationship. It wakes the attraction for each other and revives your values before your partner.

WASH HER UNDER WEARS
For men - I don't know the response of culture and tradition to this act but if we're to exercise love without boundaries then it has got to be NO big deal. It's obviously a crazy way to spark things up in your relationship. You may not need to inform her; you just go to her wardrobe, pick them up and wash them before she comes back. Likewise, she probably could be around while you wash and she stares at you. It's nothing awful but a sure way to establish a sweet emotional feeling for having you as her man. Not many men do this and that’s what makes you different. Best believe, this has nothing to do with your ego or position as a man. It has nothing to do with you being “in-charge.” It’s a unique way of claiming absolute ownership of your woman. You don’t have to do this all the time but such humble act is a total spark for any relationship.

ASK FOR A BREAK
There are ways to hypnotize your partner , on a first date or after. When it comes to asking a break, I'd advise you to find a good reason for this. Let assume your man complains a lot about your poor communication or some weakness, even when you know he's right and you desire to change, that could be your cogent reason. Make his complaint your reason and wait to see how defensive he's going to sound: more like eating his words. Let me create a scene here, it’s a deep emotional feeling when a lady come to agree that she’s not good enough for her man. Right at his face, at that minute, what you've done is making your man think he’s been too hard on you especially when that expression comes along with a subtle tear-drop. That simple act transfers all the blames on him and he would suddenly think he’s the one to take it easy on you, but the truth is; you’re the one that got to change! It’s called emotional blackmail! Many men won’t like me for this though. LOL. That's for the ladies; the men should find what works. LOL

PULL A PRANK
Yes! We all need it in our relationship. It’s a little but good feelings of genuine love to have your partner respond to the prank. Imagine the feeling of seeing your partner rush home because you said you were sick. Imagine you call a situation an emergency to your partner and then he rushes to see you only to tell him you just want to see his face. Now, that’s interesting! There are several pranks you can pull to spark up your relationship. It’s a little but good feeling when we are reassured of our partner’s love and commitment toward us.

The beauty of these crazy highlights is the beautiful reactions and expressions that come with it. The fact that, it makes us feel more special, wanted, valued and appreciated . . . that's the Spark!

http://www.coachdexplorer.com/2013/08/crazy-ways-to-spark-up-your-relationship.html
Nonsense! None of these work in marriage.

Go ask your husband for "a break", na divorce be dat o!

And what is special about washing your wife's pant? Dat one no apply to washing machine. Anyone can load the washing machine.

If ma wife make me rush home by crying wolf that she is sick, that would enrage me cos I take my protection of her safety and guardianship of her health and well being very seriously, it is not a laughing matter to play pranks over.

Cause a fight with your spouse for no reason? Rubbish!!! After a hard week's work, nobody is coming home to fight in his marital home jare!

Switching off your phone and going AWOL is also an absolute no-no in Marriage.

All these are early relationship games for foolish people. It no concern grown folks.

I always wonder how people pay money to go hear Autotune. Do these guys Mics actually convert their voices to Autotune live?
