raumdeuter: When I remember Kimpembe na that goal wey Switzerland score France dey come my head. I think I had a gif for it where Kante was escorting the Swiss player
Kimpembe has a face that looks twice as guilty after a brainfart
Amoto94: “Livramento when he left Chelsea was keen on ensuring the buyback clause when he went to Southampton, and Chelsea turned down more money from Brighton in order to get that buyback in place.

Shame he is injured for a long time. We should go back for him next summer
Good read. Despite rough background, Sterling is a fairly humble boy. He is always walking around the town where he lives with his girl and nobody bothers him.
BlueAngel444: not possible they both are 27yrs and play similar positions and style
It seems Kimpembe is an options if City don't sell Ake. Tuchel probably prefers Ake to Kimpembe, apart from Ake's recent injuries and not playing regularly I don't see how Kimpembe is better than him
Kimpembe is better than Ake. Na the shape of Kimpembe head make niggas think he is slow in the head.
bolliejay: Chai. am late. l dropped my email in the previous thread. didn't know that a new thread will be created. am Manger of Bolliejay FC and l came 4th in the carling league. unfortunately no slot again.
benalvino3: you are wrong... will continue to be wrong because of bias.
I have been right all along. I think I warned guys on here mid last year to convert their 401ks to fixed cash option. I did, my wife didn't listen and has lost 10% of her pension since, while mine dey kampke. Commodities are tanking on fear of recession. That demand destruction should start to bring inflation down. We are near the peak assuming no further Covid wahala or ramp up of war into another dimension. Recession destroys inflation naturally. Copper, other metals are at two year lows while wheat, oil and other commodities are coming down
raumdeuter: Which point will be the bottom (peak of the recession) where one can enter the market? Earnings reports will be coming out, I am thinking many will disappoint and take it further down. Plus the interest rate hikes come this month.
I am thinking by August September it might bottom out stabilize at new lows and start trending up
Bear market usually lasts 18 months to two years from peak to bottom. November was peak so by my calculation, it won't be till late 2023 before we truly bottom out in the equity markets. I think we will hit official recession in Jan 2023, although there's a small chance we hit later this month, though consencus is that Q2 GDP will be slightly positive, meaning we then need Q3 and Q4 negative to enter official recession which I think interest rate rises will cause enough slowdown for that to happen. That should lead to a black swan event upon that result being announced which would also be a good entry point if you don't want to wait till late 2023.
raumdeuter: The Bureau of Labor Statistics' June Consumer Price Index (CPI) reflected a year-over-year increase of 9.1% last month, up from the prior 40-year high of 8.6% in May. Consensus economists were expecting June's reading to show an 8.8% increase, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
We needed to go above 9% to reach a consensus that this is the peak. Recession fears and QT will now drive it down. Been chopping it steady.
swiz123: So in your books, if a player improves after a change in structure, it must be thanks to the structure and not his hunger to improve. Like the two are mutually exclusive!.
Rudiger improved tremendously and that's why he's our only player on the PFA team of the season.
To date Riufdiger has not played well in a back four so what do you want me to attribute it to?
Taking one of Webster or Guehi will be ok but getting two of them to come and start for Chelsea won't be good.
We lost Rudiger , A German international with loads of experience at the top level, it's just ideal we replace him with someone of the same profile.
That Rudiger was an eyesore until we switched to back 3. I don't believe in such narratives. The "experience of Rudiger" is just a narrative with no empirical backing when you play as poorly as Rudiger did in a back four. When you good, you good. Silva is still there for experience.
raumdeuter: Chelsea still need a big international name at least 1 in defence. Thats why they are trying everyone Kounde Deligt Koulibalu. Some of those academy guys can shine when handheld. When push come to shove they show their limitations See Sarr and Chalobah who did well but still showed their inexperience at crucial times
Guehi has shown 1 great season and Webster 3 great seasons. Sarr and Chalobah are complete greenhorns. Chalobah only started playing CB at senior level this season. He was last a CB in youth football and played DM in all his loan spells in senior football.
Guehi didn't put a foot wrong last year. Pep knows
emmyluizzz: I wonder why football interest you..you should try other sports cos your analysis are shit
I watch what I know and I put it to you that Ake has never had a better season in his career than the last 2 seasons Adam Webster put together while my preference for Guehi is due to age
Left to me, with everything on the market, I would carry £40m and resign Guehi instead of Koulibaly, and take £20m sign Adam Webster from Brighton instead of Ake. He and Ake are agemate but he is more robust physically, better awareness and good on the ball. Tuchel no too get eye sha
WhoDeyHause: Ake is not agressive enough like when he was in Bournemouth. That was a very good ake. Im not sure about depay because these days dead barka is known for buying and producing nonsense. Dembele was the only one I liked because he could dribble and cross. If Tuchel wants him then it may not be bad but we should not pay more than 5m for him.
Ake is always aggressive but he no carry body weight so they often shade him off the ball. The Ake I know was a very good DM in Cobham, na mistake he carry enter CB for Bournemouth. He even played LB better when he was at Watford. Ake has been given a pass at CB maybe because he looks like Ruid Gullit cos even at Bournemouth, I saw strikers ragdolling him a few times in duels, he no get strength like that. But with Koulibaly, if Koulibaly take the duels, then Ake can clean up.
WhoDeyHause: . He should help us stan him well. At least we will use like three or four years out of him since he is not an age fraud like you said. And our young boys like chalobah and colwill will learn from him to be the best. I just don't like ake coming.
Ake is not a bad player but quite exorbitant. Ake and Silva partnership is too small but with Koulibaly taking on the big men, Ake can do the clean up
I'm warming up to the idea of Memphis Depay also. For cheap price, that guy is better than all our wingers currently, maybe Pulisic on his day is debatable. Na injuries kill am for Barca, and he was Koemans pet so Xavi no come show am too much love, plus he was injured/recovering. At £82k per week, that deal no bad.
Almajirihunter: I don’t like Journeymen, except you’re named Anelka. If he can be bought for cheap as a stop gap then no problem
If Broke Barka will accept Alonso plus Azpi for him, why not. That's a 3rd striker to supplement Havertz and Broja and a fourth winger. We can then think of getting rid of Odoi, Ziyech and Werner. The only one thing that makes me think he's worth a chance is because he takes his physical fitness very seriously which is a mentality that's in his favour
