@katolistic do you bear the same surname as your uncle.?. Am asking because someone said she used her uncle last year but was denied because they bear different surname.

Pls other bosses in the house I need your advice too sirkezman, iceberg54, olabode89

She can't be denied based on that. She's not telling you the whole story. A lot of people use uncles with different surnames and get their permits.

Got this from Migri

We kindly ask you to supplement your residence permit application. Source of means Customer number ****** Diary number 08.06.2016 ****/***/2016 1) Please supplement your application by sending us a bank statement from your own bank account. The bank statement must include all the transactions starting from 04/05/2016 until the latest possible date and the name of the account holder.

Send the requested documents from your Enter Finland account. The Finnish Immigration Service will make a decision on your application even if you do not send the documents within the given time limit. The absence of documents may be to your disadvantage when your application is decided.

I'm mostly concerned about 2.
My sponsor transferred from her second account( salary account) to the new account with her old surname.
My plan is to get a statement of account showing the transfer of the 900k from the second account to the other account and resend payslips, employment letter and include office ID. Must i provide 6 months statement of account for the second account too?

Cc: sirkezman, olabode89, iceberg54 and other veterans

Boss, its normal for them to ask for clarifications, so no cause for alarm. Just follow Olabode's advice. Get the other bank statement and include a Letter explaining everything.

Cheers sir!

Hello house,
This here is just another grant story!

Woke up this morning to the 'mysteriously exciting' sound of my phone alarm; after turning it off, I checked my emails and therein, lined one after another smiley smiley smiley, were 3 emails containing 189 visa grants for spouse, baby and I! Good start to the day for sure!

My timeline goes thus:

11/07/2015 - IELTS L/R/W/S: 9/9/7/7.5 10 points
22/02/2016 - PTE-A L/R/W/S: 90/87/90/89 20 points
07/03/2016 - EA Assessment submitted (Fastrack)
16/03/2016 - Positive assessment received
16/03/2016 - EOI lodged with 65 points
23/03/2016 - EOI Invite received
05/03/2016 - Medicals and PCC
17/04/2016 - Visa lodged
27/04/2016- CO Contact for transcripts and baby polio certificate
17/05/2016- Transcripts uploaded
19/05/2016- Grant!

With PTE-A score of 20 points, I applied without claiming work experience points.

Thanks to everyone on this thread who answered queries, dropped their 2cents et al. They were quite helpful!
And for those still waiting, you shall receive!

Congrats bro...i tap into this.

I am doing PTE soon and from my practice so far, i still feel IELTS is easier to clinch the max points. My IELTs was 9,9,8.5,7 - L,R,W,S. And the 7 was largely due to the fact that my interviewer was not a native english speaker and I noticed some difficulties in her myself. I didn't know a lot about Oz PR then so i didn't bother, if i did, would have contested the S. I believe with good practice, you can clinch 8 in reading.

I suggest you go through PTE materials amd familiarize yourself with the exam, it will give you an idea of what to expect and help you decide. Maybe when i write PTE and i get the 20 points, i will change my mind cheesy cheesy cheesy

Cheers!

00francis:

It was the general test...I'm in the UK.
I'm only looking at PTE because of some posts I've seen on this thread, suggesting it is easier than IELTS.

With this your " don't even think about it " statement, I'm confused...why?

This question is for everyone in the house, PTE or IELTS, what would you recommended for someone who's trying to clinch the max points for English?... my first IELTS was 8.5, 7, 8, 8.5 - L, R, W, S.

Yes it is possible. SINP have their own requirements. So if your total points is 57, you are not eligible for SINP.

Okay, Thank you.

SINP has updated the application guide and introduced new occupations in demand. Some NOCS were also removed from the demand list. The new list is very short .This means, they might open for EE soon. So if your noc is on the list I suggest start gathering and upload your documents on OASIS.

Please, is it possible for one to be eligible for EE and yet not eligible for SINP? I am currently in the EE pool, now I am trying to apply on OASIS under the 'International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry' category. My total points is 57, and a minimum of 60 is required. Just want to be sure I am not leaving something out. Thank you.

Migri will ask you to clarify the source of the deposits into your dad's account. So to avoid complications, you might wanna consider using your church member. But then be sure that the person will be willing to provide any document required. And just like boss Olabode89 stated, the sponsor's letter is very important and must be well detailed.

All the best sir!

shayhune:

I hope to get the €6,720 soon but I'm not working presently and I intend using my dad who is a salary worker and earns over 100k monthly as sponsor and depositing the money into the sponsor's account using his name before transferring it into my account. Please in what proportion can I deposit the money? Can I deposit it into his account with his name at once or should I just split it into smaller proportions, lets say 150,000 daily. I also want to know if the Migri peeps wud ask how the large deposits in my dad's account came about.
Also, I want to know how feasible it is for me to use one who is not a family member(e.g church pastor or member) as sponsor. Thanks

That is great. Congratulations.

No, I didn't withdraw it. I waited till a decision was made on it. Though they didn't overlook the date discrepancy.

I have reapply again. Can you share your application to approval timeline with the house.

We need to connect, are u in Nigeria currently or in UK? When do you plan to enter oz.

Remember, the 476 grant is not the final bus stop itself but a step towards PR.

Thanks bro.

Applied 27th January

Medicals 2nd February

Visa Granted 6th April

Didn't get any request for additional docs.

From my research, most Oz employers prefer citizens or PR holders. So, like you said, its not the final bus stop. Have you heard from your friends who got it. Maybe they can give us first hand info.

Looking at moving in Sept or later. No I'm not in the UK. Did some background check cheesy You should be one of Mayor's friends (Cranfield) so we probably met when I visited last year. cheesy

Will pm you.

Cheers bro!

They don't always request additional document.

Once you visa is granted they will give some months within which you will expected to arrive oz. It is usually more than six months though.

Your 18 months visa grant start counting from the time you arrive oz.

Thanks boss......Got the subclass 476 grant.

Given till Feb 2017 to arrive oz. Did you eventually withdraw your application?

Hi DSSHQ and Iceberg54,
What roles did you apply for? Can you please give an insight how the video interview went?.
Still waiting to hear from them.
Thanks.

Applied for Engineering.

Had mine today though experienced some technical hitches.

Competency based questions like DSSHQ said.

Questions about how you fit into the role, career plans, teamwork and past projects.

Cheers!

like mine my original result is not ready so the school sent the statement of result and I even notarized it as well but they put it as incomplete as well. like they said the school has the final say.

but truthfully ll any school look at an application that has been tagged incomplete, are u meant to forge the original certificate?

All we can do is hope

I don't think the school will reject your application based on that.

They will only ask that your provide the certificate by July.

Even people that are yet to graduate are given admission.
