I can bet with you the major reason your friend left Dresden is because of "students job" opportunities. Dresden is quite dry and he's definitely among the people that entered Germany with any admission not minding if they have interest in the course or not.. I also know someone that studied international Agriculture management living the life here, he works with CLAAS group. It didn't work out for your friend doesn't mean there are no opportunities there. SOEST isn't far from me, I know a graduate of that same course doing a second masters because he couldn't secure a job.
Like what's your point exactly, people that are in other field and have the passion to continue shouldnt come to study in Germany or should end up studying what they don't have passion for?, Who said you must even work in Germany and not other countries?...

My friend got in during 2018 winter for Masters in Tropical forestry, Dresden.....He is now in Soest running a fresh B Sc. Business management and informatics......He didn't even complete 2 semesters in Dresden. When I asked him why, he said many things not different from all you've written above. Bro don't rely on videos alone...Books are very in depth, so you can get the alogrithms.
video will tell you 2+2=4, A good book will tell you why 2+2=4....And don't forget programming is all about problem solving, you'll need a deep knowledge of the language.

Bro if I wanna be honest with you, I'd say........You dont need to pay anyone to learn python cos it can be easily self-studied. The best programmers are the ones that did a lot of self-studying. So, go get 1-3 updated books on python 3 Study well and support every chapter with few youtube videos. You'd be writing programs in 3-6 months if you are consistent and willing, you may even be employable in another 3-6 months if you are the die-hard kinda programmer
But if I don't wanna be honest with you, I'd tell you to go to Goldtech academy, Ojuelegba or New Horizon(Bode Thomas) or NiiT (Iponri, Costain)....and pay a few bucks for about 15 training sessions

Go to the German embassy site book an interview under category A or any category in u can see with any passport number u can think of with any email u can think of.

In fact spam the embassy site, with as much spam applications as u can. They will be overwhelmed. Then when they start giving out dates to nonexisting people with fake passport numbers and noone shows up. They will have to change the booking system.

First things first,
What part of IT are you considering? Cos A+ only introduces hardware engineering, windows and networking/security, if you are looking towards pursuing a career in data science/analytics, cloud computing, software engineering and any other field asides the aforementioned, A+ plus would be a wrong turn.
A+ is quite expensive (about 160k) excluding training and material fees.....You will also need to upgrade the certification every three years

Very True!! In most cases, the passion is money-driven at first........ but honestly, programming is tedious and time consuming. Therefore, it takes an extra drive to keep it going till the employable/marketable stage. Thats why we have many programmers gallivanting at the beginner stage for years.
