What are you talking about? 9ice is a hip hop artiste and has always been a Hip Hop artiste. Do you even know what Hip Hop music is? Don't go around assuming Hip Hop and Rap are the same music. Rap falls under Hip Hop music but Hip Hop ain't limited to Rap. Akon is a Hip Hop artiste, same as Flo - Rida (Who sang more than he rapped on most of his hit songs). little' Wayne sings all the time and have you listened to "Love Lockdown" by Kayne West? These are all HIp HOp. So yes, 9ice was nominated for the right category. Besides, this is the first edition, give 'em a chance to improve before jumping to conclusions. Let's chill, at least, 2 years (2010) and see what they come up with then before we judge. You ask, how 9ice could have beat little Wayne in Africa to best Hip Hop awards? There are many problems with Heroes.  the Nobody dies syndrome, the every Hero is related issue. . nd all.
But I think the greatest problem with it is that they've given the Heroes too much powers. Powers the writers themselves can't control. .
Powers that should be on auto pilot even when ur not thinking

A very good example of what i mean is this. .
Peter has been painted to be the "coolest bad guy". He can fly, time travel, disappear, pause time, run fast, paint the future, and of course hear people's thoughts. .
These powers are too much IMO and they tend to forget that he has some of these powers sometimes. .

In the scene with his fatherdid the hearing people Thoughts switch suddenly go off? or did they forget he had that power?
In the scene in the future with the reformed Sylar, Claire came in with a gun and was threatning. .  did he suddenly forget he could pause time?

and just a wild thoughtI think Peter has met the Haitian once. .  so. . 

First of all, Peter HAS met the Haitian, but as you already know, the Haitian turns off your ability when he's near you therefore there is no way for Peter to have the Haitian powers.

Secondly, People do remain dead in Heroes. For example, Isaac Mendes, Maya's brother, The former head of the company Bill, the nuclear powered guy, Niki Sanders, DL etc etc.

Thirdly, watch episode 7 and then make conclusions.

Yo, Bro, how you dey? Sha, if you ask me, I'll say let's call a spade a spade. I agree that Mode9 is the best rapper in Nigeria but until he changes his game he isn't going to be one of the richest! Hopefully, that "Talking to you" song will help, but he needs more collabos. Like MI, 9ice, Faze or Wande Cole!

As a Mode9 and Ruggedman fan and a strong SauceKid hater (thanks to SKINGO [Sauce Kid Is Nigeria's Greatest Ode]). I'm gonna be honest, if truth be told, Mode9 is a better LYRICIST than Ruggedman, however, in Nigeria, that's not enough. THe reason rapper's like Ikechukwu and Naeto C are successful is because they are good at coming up with CLUB BANGERS. Afterall, we can't say they are representing Nigerian shoemakers and Mechanics with their American accents, so why are they gaining rep? Dance songs. Examples are Wind AM Well and Ashawo. Mode9 can still speak metaphors and rap the exact same lyrics, all he has to do is get a club beat and feature Faze, Wande Cole or Banky W and he will instanly hit number one.

RuggedMan used to be a lyricist, but he realised something important, Nigerians care more about the beat than the words. Just look at Konga. He sang absolute rubbish and yet he was receiving massive airplay. I love Mode9's music more than Ruggedman, but if I were at a club and they played a Mode9 track, I would be pissed.

To conclude, RuggedMan has the better beats and concept while Mode9 has the lyrics and potential to be Africa's best rapper alive if he would just change his mentality.

P.S:- I would like to give a big ups to MI. He has got great lyrics and a mad accent to booth. He realised you couldn't make it on a song like "Crowd Mentality" alone and did a mad collabo with both Djinee and Dipp on "Safe" and "Dangerous" respectively.

Long time, you only turn up once a month, huh? Yeah, Doctor Who was crazy. What I really liked about it was using a limited budget to still make great tv. Some American series could learn a thing or two from them. I'm hoping to get Season 4 this weekend, I hear that Rose Tyler and Mikey Smith are back. It sounds like it's gonna be good fun. Can't wait. Yeah, I'm also planning to watch Taken soon. I hear it's great movie.

Dr. Who season 3. The series is really quite cool. By the way, it's the new series that started in 2005 that I'm watching. They just finished season 4 on the bbc. I'll go and find the DvD and watch it.

I'm watching Doctor Who and I love it. Yeah, Martha Jones is very pretty. She actually appeared in Season 2 as a yoruba girl called Adeola. I've almost finished season 3. I hear they've completed season 4 on the BBC. The new season won't be until next year.

It was RuggedMan - Peace Or War and Mode9 - Cry. LEt's face it, MOde9 won a Kora for Cry. That speaks for itself. And Peace or War was a really mad video at the time, it was the turning point. I admit that P-Square tried with Get Squared, but I still give the first tight video to RuggedMAn.

It's funny and interesting all at the same time. It's rare to find a really good British series, but Dr. Who is one of the best. They just finished the fourth season and are going to resume in 2010(A very long wait). What I enjoy about the series is the way they use a very small budget to achieve reasonable special effects. I recommend everyone go buy Season 1-4 on DvD.

MOdenine still beat Ruggedman. However, Ruggedman was tight. I love the beat, love the lyrics and Durella did a reasonable job. However, to be fair, the only reason Modenine's song is better than Ruggedy is because of Banky W. HAs anyone heard Faze feat. Mode9 - Originality (Remix). Mode9 is the King of rap in Nigeria. No one can contest. RuggedMan is firmly in Number 2 and SauceKid is at number 89 behind my gate man!
