valentineuwakwe: Hello Nairalanders,
Nice again to be hear. Please I need advice from anyone that can give me on this issue bordering me..
I'mm a hard working self employed man of 36years and my fiancee is 39years.. We both are graduates and M.sc holders from uniport. ..
We have known selves since 2014 and told my parents in 2016 that its her I want to get married to.. They all accepted her upon meeting her and sat, January 6, 2018 was fixed for introduction... I was so happy and was in high spirit... Then come on Saturday morning, my mum called a meeting, with dad, grand mum, two of dad sisters, 2 kindred men, my immediate younger sister and brother...
My marriage issue was raised as topic and mum insisted on the age of my fiancee and said she must get pregnant first before us or myself would go for any introduction....
She was supported by 2/3 of the people present at an early morning meeting called by 4am on the same Saturday i had told my fiancee my people were coming.....
The meeting went and ended in a disaster and mum called my fiancee to cancel the introduction insisting she first get pregnant...
Please, what do you guys think I should do as my fiancee is a born again Christian with RCCG....
The issue of first takingbinnholds no place in their church doctrine...its after the wedding ...am a catholic....am in love with my woman and am not backing down....am confused and don't know what to do now...someone should please advice me....please
Please move this thread to front page as I need advice, please Brother, pls get born again first, your fiancee's agreement to marry you in the first instance shows her salvation is in doubt. Your people cannot understand what RCCG doctrine on marriage before pregnancy, if you truly love that ask her why did she agree to marry you when she knew you're not born again. She seems desperate to hook somebody because of her age, if not she won't be disobeying the word of God. If you truly love the lady, get born again first, meet the church pastor or rep on marriage matters, God will sort out your parents fear. They love you more than that lady. |

bchi: Please nlander I need you guys help. I'm dating a catholic right now n am about to marry him, I'm scared of becoming a catholic member cos of my background ( the church am worshiping with), we believe in gift of the holy spirit and his presence in us. I dislike their method of worship and their believe. I don't know, how i will cope with him cos of his church... ... ... please mature advice. What role is your pastor playing in your plans to marry? What is it that you guys in your church understand about the faith called Christianity and marriage as a believer? Has your fiancee gotten saved? Going to church is not Christianity. However, if you're saved (born again), there are some environments you will get uncomfortable with. Most likely, your pastor has warned you about this your plan and you're afraid of loosing your sweet bobo from Catholic church. Oh La la! You had better go back to what you've been advised now before you start crying two weeks after your wedding. |

Family › Re: My Wife Is Adulterous: Advice Needed-long Post by IDERAWOLE(m): 3:16pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
I read few stories like yours on social media, either because such OPs don't need such advice or they just want to waste precious time.
However, your story sounds real, and I got caught in the whole drama and I felt I should add my voice to the numerous ones already given.
First, you need more than casual advice to forgive your wife and move on either in the marriage or breaking the marriage outrightly.
Except you've experienced the kind of forgiveness from God to mankind through Jesus, No way! You'll always play back the whole drama, I feel for you dear brother.
Anyone who doesn't see a big deal in what you've explained here, is either serial cheat himself/herself or marriage means little to them.
I also feel for your son too, so young but mature to know what's going on already; what a smart boy. Please, for his sake, let's find a sure way to slove this dilemma.
My counsel is this:
Seek the forgiveness of God through the gift of Jesus to mankind, in order word words, surrender your life now to Jesus and first and foremost enjoy the real peace if God. What you had initially was just the peace of the graveyard.
Leave your wife's case for now on suspension, don't do anything funny, just stay calm, even with your pained heart, you'll be surprised that with Jesus coming into your heart, the drama of your wife will take a back seat temporarily. Jesus will show you a few things about you, and about her that you don't even know yet, then you'll really be able to understand each other beyond the usual "I love you, I love you syndrome " around us.
You'll be surprised how everything will begin to shift ground between the two of you, and how the real strength to forgive her will come from.
You need to forgive her, but don't let it be artificial. Reason is that there must be a reason for the cheat from her end, that of men is understandable because, a little denial of sex by your wife is enough to distract a man, but for women, they are not that quick to open their legs or even play on their emotions with any man. So you need to find out from her what led to the cheating. Remember, your encounter with Jesus if it's genuine, has put you in a position to let go of your previous anger, because Jesus will help you realize that you too got forgiven now!
Your open discussion with her on the reason behind the lack of trust and fidelity on her part is key to going successfully forward.
If you waste time in the mood you're in now, danger looms ahead. Take this decision and let Jesus help you.
I'll love to advice the more if need be going forward on the progress you're making in this direction, but definitely in a private chat, because I do not stay that long on Nairaland and I may not be able to follow the thread after now. So if you feel it's necessary, You can reach me via:
mydailyguide2787@gmail.com
Take heart and don't be rash in your response to her remorsefulness. I wish she can get away from the relationship as she has promised, it's only that it might be deeper in her emotions than she realises. |

i'd rada vote 4 d 1 wu lied about giving my state to control its resources. ps:i dnt tolerate stupid mentions I'm laughing at you in French. You know why? Atiku has all the opportunity to turn Nigeria around when he was Vice-President for the first 4yrs of his tenure as VP, but what did he do with his position as the one in charge of the PDP governors then, busy buying the whole of Nigeria. If you're in Nigeria from 1999-2007, you should know what I'm talking about. He's not even sincere with the so-called restructuring he's shouting about, when he wins that office, which I know he can't, you'll see the real colour of the Chameleon. Leave Atiku alone, let him campaign, some people must eat part of the stolen money. |

Please, in addition to whatever they planned to do for his recovery, alternative medicine is the key. Alternative medicine means treatment of your ailments via your nutrition.
Engage a dietician that knows his/her onions here.
With this alone, eating nothing but vegetable and fruits and a combination of both by experts, his recovery is certain.
All the best. |

I know the pdp would use this selective fight against the apc in the next election, what excuse would the apc have against it? Wait till that time. Why are crying for PDP. They're in power for 16 wasteful years & they found no corruption case to pursue. They're thieves. Who stopped them from prosecuting looters? Because they're born robbers. |

Just tell the world how important he is and you would be on the fair side of his next memo. The man that values his ego more than his life. I remember 2003 elections and I wonder how shallow minded people could be. Someday he will surely answer nature like Abacha and his loot would be recovered. Yaradua remains my best despite his short span. He ran the most inclusive government since 1999 with humility, vision and sincerity of purpose. He kick started the respect for rule of law. PMB is just deceiving us with his pseudo honesty. Yaradua brought peace all over and showed us the power of dialogue in resolving disputes. I am Igbo, I am a cruder of good governance and I am for PDP. You don't need to mention your extraction; its obvious. No one is surprised either. |

iliyande: My current girlfriend wants sex every night and I don’t keep up.I have these feelings she’s a nymphomaniac. We’ve been together a couple of months and there is no sign her ardor is slowing down.
It’s great to have a woman who is so into me but I’m finding it hard to keep up with her demands. Sometimes it’s difficult to get an erection and I’m even wondering whether men can fake an orgasm like women do.
Man will always suffer for his ignorance. What that woman needs is not that your thrusting in & out that will kill you if you don't know what to do.
First take your eyes away from her body & focused on her eyes. It's called creating suspence, then talk as much sweet nothings as possible then learn how to use your fingers before you enter her at all.
When you do all the preambles as required by her- ask her what she wants as you explore with your fingers, you will spend less energy but she'll keep coming back for more.
You want more counsel?

The foreign exchange controls are already having devastating effects on the manufacturing and commercial sectors. This has led to a motre than 10% disparity between the official and parallel market. It should never be more than 3% or you encourage round tripping as its happening now.
Banning 40 products from the forex market was an extremely amateurish attempt to preserve foreign exchange.
The best way of managing forex is by liberalizing and deregulating the forex market.
If the demand for imports is quite strong, your currency loses value and makes imports more expensive and less affordable.
As your currency weakens,it makes your exports more competitive encouraging exporters to sell more and earn foreign exchange. It counterbalances
Buhari won't last more than a term. These businessmen are not smiling. In 2019, they will come to settle scores. How can the businessmen be happy when all they want is to importing rubbish into the country. |
