Why are u afraid of the evidence . I have been to several Islamic refutation sites and their lies are so shockingly false that reading the verses in the Quran in context contradicts them, the Muslim apologists. When I found out that Mohammad had been having sex with 9 year old aisha I thought it was a lie. .. so I Went to Islamic sites for their opinion and some confirmed this, some said she must have had her menstrual flow hence she was old enough at 9 and some (Yusuf etes. , the deen show)refused to say her age and some denied. Nothing controversial in any portion of that statement, I’d say?

The controversy began when Ahmed Oyerinde, a long time Sokoto correspondent for ThisDay and other Newspapers, (who was not at the venue of the book launch when Buhari spoke) made up the false quote and reported this as fact in ThisDay. No. Like I said I knw several Muslims, one of my closest friends is a muslim I respect his God given right to freewill and choice. I have igbo, hausa, benin and yoruba family members, not many nigerians can say this.

However when buhari decided to go around saying sharia must be adpoted all over Nigeria in his Islamic circles which was carried by newspapers, in a country which is almost 50% christain do you think he won't lose christain voters. Especially since northern ruling elites are known for their nepotism and religious bigotry.

Not to mention how he allegedly incited the CPC riots in the north after he lost by making careless statements. But I am suspicious of buhari because he is a hardcore conservative muslim northern elite with an old fashioned mentality of born to rule who has said on record that he supports the spread of sharia all over Nigeria and now he is running for president again..... He has not renounced his position on the sharia issue despite calls for him to do so.

like I said before, "it will be very difficult for anyone to "islamise" this country." sambo seems to be a moderate muslim same as yaradua was hence I don't think we have to fear the progress of the Islamic agenda from him.

An important point I want to make here is that most of these northern states who claim they are under sharia law aren't even practising it as their sources (quran and hadiths) prescribe. Go to Saudi Arabia, Iran and you shall see the real sharia law in action.
