Or we invest heavily in our airforce/airport. Not all goods can be airlifted but we can start from there.
Necessity is the mother of invention.

Ethiopia is a landlocked country. It has forced them to develop their airports and airlines to international standards, and they still make use of neighboring seaports.

Where there is a will, there is a way.
We will be perfectly fine.

Biafra is strictly an Igbo/Igboid affair.

Let everyone else bear their surnames Biko.

NK and IPOB would soon become relics, if they don't bend to Igbo nationalism.

God bless this writer real good
for being just plain with the truth!

I have said it elsewhere that the true Biafran State
that vibrates in the Law of Spirit is for the Igbos
and all Igboid peoples of the Niger.
I was vigorously abused by my own people for saying so.
It is consoling to see that someone else
is reasoning aloud
along these lines.

Biafrans will do well to give justice
to the oppressed peoples of the Niger Delta
by not luring them into the Biafran State.
For they have a very different destiny fulfill.
Their stuff is not our stuff.
Their mission is not our mission!

Let us respect the Law of Homogeneity
which is a cosmic law.
A homogeneous Biafran State
is the true Light of Black Africa.
Anything more or less than that will surely end in calamity.
An independent Republic of Niger Delta,
will definitely be a plus for both Biafra
and Niger Deltans themselves.
Well written.

I want a Biafra where Igbo language and not Pidgin English will be the official language.
We are obviously not getting that if we bring Non Igbo SS on board.

Ofuzo.

Religion (Christianity) never helped Ndiigbo in our greatest moment of need, during the Biafran war, Christian world powers in Russia, USA, Britain, either supported the Islamic Arewa and their collaborators or simply looked the other way, while we got massacred.

If there is any lesson to be learnt in Biafra defeat, is to never take religion seriously, but to instead think in terms of interests.

If Iran is offering investments that would provide jobs to our people and improve our medical technological know how, then we should be grabbing it with two hands.

Infact, the sooner we started building lasting relationship with countries like Iran with better technological advancement than us, the better for us.

Also, the Islamic Caliphate in Nigeria is of Sunni extraction, whereas Iran is a Shia Islamic nation.
We can always find a middle ground with them, if we are serious.

I get baffled when my people talk about Germany, Japanese, Korean industrial and technological strides and development, without taking into cognizance the fact that these people are independent countries of the own, hence have full control of their socio-economic and political destinies.
Comparing them with Igboland still trapped in a retrogressive union with bitter antagonistic Nigerian ethnic groups,, is akin to playing the cart before the horse.
Yes, there is much improvement we can achieve while trapped in Nigeria, but it is unarguable that to reach German, Korean or Japanese levels of advancement, we would need our own sovereignty and independency, first and foremost.
Yes! I'm talking about an independent republic of Igboland. Agbachakwa egwu, ona n'ukwu.

Thank you my guy. This is one thing I don't like about many igbo people online. They will overpraise the achievements of a few and make it look like all of them are just the best.

To my Igbo people, a retard among them is equal to other tribes and races and their geniuses are like gods.

If you cannot view this post objectively then please don't make a fool of yourself by quoting and insulting me. Just ignore it.

This culture of arrogance has to stop among the igbos to reduce the hate other tribes have for them.

I am igbo but my achievements are not because of my language or culture. But because of who I am as a person
Funny that those who arrogate the title of "Most sophisticated", "Most Educated", most this, most that in Nigeria are not arrogant, but those who oppose such statements, are supposed to be the arrogant ones.

Well, June 12 is nothing more than a Yoruba day, but I guess civil servants wouldn't mind if government create 50 more Yoruba days, as it would afford them the opportunity to rest.
Other than Yorubas and Civil servants, I don't really see any other ethnic block attached to June 12, but it's alright.

Culture › Re: African-Americans And Their Igbo Roots by Igboid:
So my mom learned about Yoruba culture a lot when she was a teenager in the 1970s, which she then taught to me. So, I grew up knowing about Shango and Ogun and the other Yoruba Orishas. Babatunde Olatunji also helped Papa Ladji Camara of Guinea come to the US, and he brought the djembe and its associated dances, which I also grew up knowing about. Both musicians had a lot of support in propagating the culture's of their ethnic groups from their home governments as a form of diplomacy. Igbo dancers and musicians, for reasons I don't entirely understand, didn't get the same support from the Nigerian government. So when African Americans look for African cultures to connect to, we go with what we can find.

This particular part, in the 1970s, was a direct fall out of the Biafran war Igbos lost, and the post civil war anti Igbo policies of the immediate post civil war Nigeria military dictatorship.

For me the ipob boys are not reasonable enough, thats why Nnamdi Kanu failed. They dont listen to advice.. They reason like mumu sometimes. They think that since oil is in PH therefore they need to attach Ikwere to themselves. They fail to ask themselves; how has oil helped an average Ikwere youth or River state youth at large? Are their youths doing better than us in life? The answer is absolutely NO.
So whats the point desiring to have them and their oil land? Our people should be wise. We dont need Ikwere to be part of us to succeed pls. We ve been succeeding in life and we will keep succeeding by the grace of God. Enough of this attach-by- force nonsense.
I agree with you.
But I disagree on the part of IPOB wanting PH and Ikwerre because of oil

I think the IPOB want Ikwerre because of misguided sense of kinship they ignorantly believe exist between Ndiigbo and Ikwerre.
They would tell you that the Ikwerre resentment of Ndiigbo is caused by everyone else, but Ikwerres themselves. They had absolutely closed their minds to the reality before them, which is the fact that the Igbo resentment and even outright hate of Ndiigbo, is a congenital trait of modern Ikwerre nationalism, and not an acquired one.

If IPOB are after Ikwerre people because of oil, then they wouldn't be including Igala and Idomas in their Biafra plan, as those two groups lack oil.
Politics › Re: Ikwere Boys Why Were You Wailing Over Ipob Sit-at-home On Radio? by Igboid: 10:27am On Jun 01, 2018
Good topic, Nwadiuto.

Our people, Ndiigbo had refused to learn, especially those IPOB members.
Ikwerre people are not Igbo, damn, they resent Ndiigbo, why then do my people insist on attaching to them? Don't we have self dignity again, why are we being this shameless and ridiculing ourselves.

Accept any Ikwerre man that accepts Igbo identity as Igbo, if doing so is convenient for you, but never fail to insist to him that he isn't Igbo, by treating him as you would treat other fellow Nigerians, as fellow humans, especially if you notice his claim to Igbo is opportunistic, like most of them are.
Do not call or extend kinship to them.

How hard is this.

Let's Set the record straight, MOU re established Madrid to where they belong.
Bale delivered the Copa del rey title without ronaldo, then followed by the UCL titles
Ronaldo I remember clearly was instrumental in dispatching Athletico in Copa Del Rey semi finals that season.
He scored two goals in one of the semifinals legs.
And he missed the final via injury or so.

Bale shined in the Copa final in Ronaldo absence, but it was Ronaldo goals that took Madrid to that final, to begin with.

Well, Mou played a big role, but when you have a 40 goals plus player in Ronaldo, the work is a bit easier.

unbitchable:
Why couldn't his 100 goals win Madrid the UCL prior to Bale's being signed for Madrid?
Bale's goals, work rates, accuracy and win ratio are superior to ronaldo's. His contribution pales to ronaldo's under the season in review due to his niggling injuries and also zidane's insistence on using him primarily as a substitute.
What ronaldo couldn't deliver, Bale came in to deliver to Madrid back to back to back. The best signing for Madrid by miles.
Ronaldo was signed to Madrid in 2009/2010 season.

Before Ronaldo arrival, Madrid were stuck in the last sixteen stage of the UCL competition. Ronaldo re established Madrid dominance in Europe.
Players like Di Maria, Alonso, were very influential in Madrid 2014 win, it wasn't just Bale.
But Ronaldo had always been the ultimate King.

Sir with the embarrassment caused the people of Akirika Obu community in particular, the Ukwa east Local Government Area and Abia State in general, Captain Abdulsalam should as a matter of urgency:-

a.Explain his reason of handing over our land, an Abia Soil to Akwa Ibom State. We want the Beacon GRS XX 2X Ikot Ika FOB removed and corrected to reflect its location in Akirika Obu-Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.

b.Explain what he did with the large hectares of our farm Land that he surveyed and where he registered the survey plan.

c.Explain and produce any document from National Boundary Commission or any Government agency on why he should be addressing Akirika Obu Community as Ikot Udo Ika.

d.Explain to the Nigeria Police the name of the mobile police officer who was killed in Akirika Obu and whether any Policeman has ever been killed in Akirika Obu.

e.Explain also with proof where he discovered the arms and ammunitions factory in Akirika Obu and the names of the criminals who come to hire or buy such weapons from our community. We are at serious pains about his false and malicious claims.

f.Explain how he visited our town unions in Lagos, Onitsha, Port Harcourt and everywhere in the country to prevail on our people to return home. Whom did he see as the executives of these unions, who financed his cross country trips and at what time?

Sir, as earlier stated, our community from time immemorial has NEVER been in South Eastern, Cross River and now Akwa Ibom State. We have our certified documents as proof.

We the people of Akirika Obu-Ndoki Ukwa East Local Government Area gave land to the Nigeria Police and Barracks were built in 1985. The barracks were burnt and destroyed by the Ika-Annang hoodlums in year 2000 when they attacked us and destroyed propertied worth millions of Naria, no Police Officer was killed. The same barracks is where the Nigerian Army uses as their FOB. We have our documents.

Captain Abdulsalam’s lies that he traveled around the country to bring our people home is too cheap and uncalled for because he is only telling the Army authorities who assigned him for a specific duty that he was not doing his work but pursuing his selfish interests.

We petition you sir to seek redress and to call Captain Abdulsalam to order so that peace and tranquility will return and reign in our community from the confusion he has created.

We once more thank you for your choice of Akirika Obu-Ndoki as one of your Operational Bases for your soldiers.

We in conclusion, thank you for your patience in going through our petition and hope that justice will soon be done in our case.

ABDULSALAM’S MISCONDUCT AGAINST OUR PEOPLE

1.Captain Abdulsalam worked tirelessly with Hon Saviour Enyiekere the then Ika Local Government Council Chairman to Annex our Community, Akirika Obu-Ndoki into Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom.

2.Captain Abdulsalam authorized, erected and supervised a beacon with the inscription GRS XX 2X IKOT UDO IKA FOB inside the barracks (Operation Base of Alpha Company 2) in Akirika Obu land, on Abia soil.

3.Captain Abdulsalam authorized, supervised and surveyed Akirika Obu families large expanse of Farm lands and placed army beacons on the land without consulting our people- the owners of the Land from Akirika Obu.

4.While in Akirika Obu, Captain Abdulsalam always addressed our community Akirika Obu- Ndoki as “Ikot Udo Ika” against the laws of the land and our peoples’ wish.

5.Captain Abdulsalam further claimed that “Akirika Obu-Ndoki was in Cross River State in the 80s”. We demand to see his source of information.

6.Captain Abdulsalam also claimed that Mopols (Mobile Police Officers) were killed by our people and the barracks burnt in the 80s. We are still at pains about his source of information. We demand for evidence from him.

7.Captain Abdulsalam further claimed that we manufacture arms and ammunitions and that anybody that wanted to rob in this area had to come here either to hire or buy the weapons. No body in Akirika Obu manufactures arms. Please sir, let him explain more.

8.He also claimed that he visited our town union meetings in Lagos, Onitsha, Port Harcourt and everywhere in the country to prevail on our people to come back home. First, we state that as at October, 2010 when Captain Adbulsalam arrived Akirika Obu, no indigene of the community left home because of kidnapping. Indigenes outside the community in those mentioned towns were there before the crime of kidnapping started in Abia State. In any case, was this his area of assignment? Going round towns to prevail on indigenes of Abia communities to return home? Again from whose purse, Army or Communities were these funded? And who among our people did he meet on those occasions.

Sir, we respectively refer you to the Captain’s interview with the New SOJA- A magazine of the Nigerian Army 1st Quarter 2011, titled “Sun Rise at Nightfall in Abia”. We want you, sir, to compare his fasle and malicious claims, falsified records on pages 75,76 & 77 of that magazine and the true and well positioned interview of the then Brigade Commander, Brig Gen, Audu on page 56 of the same magazine. We attach the said copies of the interview herewith for your perusal.

We the people of Akirika Obu-Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State are embarrassed by Captain Abdulsalam’s spurious, false and malicious claims and pressed to the wall by his falsified records and gross misrepresentation of facts which he ignorantly but intentionally, for selfish interest, dragged his reputation and integrity in the mud. We are of the opinion that a Captain in the prestigious Nigerian Army should be at least averagely intelligent with an unquestionable character unlike Captain Abdulsalam.
