Balkan:There are proud Igbos of Ukwuani decent. Ali Chukwuma lived and breathed Igbo throughout his life. Your unguarded Statements helps no one. You don't bite your nose to spite your face. |
Onatisi guy is a real political prophet. All said are coming to pass. |
Balkan:Please nwanne, desist from such Statement in the future. How can you call an entire block of western Igboland "Chaff" ? You mean Ali Chukwuma, one of the best Igbo musicians from Ukwuani was chaff too. Lets not use our hands to divide our house and then turn around to blame outsiders. |
Nothing moves o! Market is slow, takes longer to make turn over, there is inflation yet no money in circulation. The economy is no longer booming, consumers have lesser cash to spend and so the traders patronage dwindled. Na so we see am. Nah MMM men are looking towards to augment fall in revenue. |

"The Mission's members reports that, they never saw one child in satisfactory nutritional condition in any of the camps they visited. Mass feedings must be made under the most difficult of situations: distribution centers and refugee camps are bombed and strafed if any large numbers of people are visible in the daylight. Red Cross insignias are singled out for special attention by Nigerian bombers. Mayer saw one European engaged in working on the Biafran side of the war front carry 117 dying children in his truck to a hospital in a single night". Because of the way Nigerians were bombing these red cross, and feeding center/ food distribution centres. My grandfather strictly warned my mother and her sisters to stay away from such centres. This way, the few food that got into Biafra couldn't reach the targeted children as Nigerian air raids made sure people were scared away from such centres, and some of the food were even destroyed during air raids |
Chief Anthony Enahoro said during an interview in July 1968 in New York : "...it (mass starvation) is a legitimate aspect of war..." Alison Ayida said in July 1968 in Niamey Peace Talks: "Starvation is a legitimate weapon of war, and we have every intention of using it against the rebels..." http://scannewsnigeria.com/opinion/chinua-achebes-book-quotations-on-biafrannigerian-war-facts-for-interpretation/ |
1968 - Adekunle "The Black Scorpion" during Operation OAU "I want to see no Red Cross, no Caritas, no World Council of Churches, no Pope, no missionary and no UN delegation. I want to prevent even one Ibo from having even one piece to eat before their capitulation. We shoot at everything that moves and when our troops march into the centre of Ibo territory, we shoot at everything even at things that do not move". |
SaffronSpice:1 .Food was deliberately poisoned by Nigerians. There is no escaping this. Meyer noted that that food wasn't poisoned by Biafrans. What right channel do you speak of, when Adekunle already boasted that no relief materials will be allowed entry into Biafran, not even red cross. He would shoot at anything that moves and doesn't move. 2. Not sure the point you are trying to drive home with this part of your post. Meyer recommended an internationally monitored sea corridor for food and relief materials. Nigerians insisted that the food to pass through must be monitored by them, what's exactly was their aim if not to poison the food more? They were already bombing the centres for distribution of food in Biafra, scaring people away from presenting at such centres, there was no knowing the level of depravity they could go to achieve their demonic goals. They bombed market places in Biafra to stone age, killed Biafran market women and their children, as well as destroying the precious food products at those markets. What was their aim, if not to ensure their starvation policy stood. |
Deliberate poisoning of food supplies was suspected first in 1967 when several deaths were thought to be caused by toxic foods. Of 1487 samples of salt--the principal item being smuggled in--which were tested by Biafrans during the last part of 1968, 20 samples contained toxic quantities of arsenic and 50 contained cyanide. Mayer said that several samples collected by the Mission which could not have been "fixed" by the Biafrans were submitted to the Food and Drug Administration upon the group's return. "The samples contained arsenic, the Administration confirmed the Biafran reports." Mayer said. The foods were deliberately poisoned by Nigerians. To ensure their food blockade stands. |
AjiereTuwo:Your questions are silly questions. Come to "Ndoki people" facebook group page and ask them if your mama born you well. ![]() |
They ( Nigerians) are all screaming Peace and unity, yet none of them want Justice and equity. |
General Kumasi of Greenlanders in Ekpeye region had also accepted the amnesty. He is now also a Born again as he went to church to confess his sins and accept Christ as his personal Lord and saviour. ![]() |
I'm with Kemi Adeosun on this. Nigeria needs development. Ozone layer depletion is the last of our concerns, those who depleted it to develop their nations should make amendments while those of us still developing can take our own turn. We have coal in Enugu- Benue- Anambra- Kogi- Edo range. In commercial quantities too. Are the westerners saying that we should discard them? They are not serious. One must make use of what one has to get what one needs. We need cheap electricity to kick start our own industrial revolution and increase the living standard of our people, Coal will give us that Cheap electricity. This again begs the question of Buhari's competence? Why exactly did he sign a treaty that made it difficult for Nigeria to access her Coal reserves for electricity generation. This is so foolish of him, Nigeria just shot herself on foot. |
AjiereTuwo:Lol! E pain am. Keep foaming in your mouth. Jaja was an Igbo man and influential in the Imo river area, hence the adoption of his name by few Ndokis, Uranta is an Igbo name for sure, a look at the suffix "nta" shows it's Igbo. Epelle and Ipusunju I can't say for now, but they are not popular Ndoki names. So I don't see how few of those names support your argument. When Ndoki has the Igbo markers which include: 1. A religious system centered around Ala/Ali/ Ani/Ana and Chi 2. A culture with great fixation and importance placed on Kola nut and Yam 3. A four Market day system of Eke/ Nkwo/ Orie( Oye, Irie) /Afor ( Ahor, Awho) 4. Ofor( Awhor) na Ogu system of Justice. You are fishing I wrong waters here. Yes. The Official Ndoki Facebook page is "Ndoki people". If you are fearless and land grabbing hungry, visit there and bring this your land grabbing message and watch what fire does with the rat ears. |
AjiereTuwo:Ndoki does not in any way reciprocate your fable relationship with them. They know you as greedy land grabbers. Ijawland started and ended in Bayelsa, another thing is that your land grabbing will be severely dealt with by any group involved. The Edos had dealt with you at Gelegele. Yoruba in Ondo won't relinquish Apoi and Arogbo, not now that they are now fully Yoruba speaking communities, the Andoni would reconnect with their Eastern Obolo and Ibeno brothers in Akwa Ibom, and would have nothing to do with you in your phantom oil rivers state. The Itsekiris will treat your "Bleep- ups" in Delta. You will be pounded left, right, North, south, East, West. You are a learner in land grab tactics and you sure don't have the power or numbers to carry out your schemes. |
AjiereTuwo:You are not bright. I have an Azumini close friend and had once visited Azumini and stayed with his family for a time. I have first hand account of the people. I am also a member of "Ndoki people" facebook page, I know the prevalent sentiment of an average Ndoki person. Just mere mention of linking them with Ngwa in the Ukwa- Ngwa amalgam in Abia state gets them livid, let alone you bringing this your Ijaw trash there, your head will be severed from your neck, just give it a try, Just recently, a Yoruba guy that came with his anti Biafran sentiments there was heavily insulted and calls for his deletion from the group was chanted. You are the dumb one here. Ndoki people influenced Opobo and Bonny islands, many of their people migrated their in the past and you will always hear them make mention of this fact. Opobo and Bonny are Igbo enclaves with Ijaw influence that chose to identify with Ijaw at the moment, but who is to say with will happen in the future.Ijawland started and ended in Bayelsa. That's where Ijaws are. Rivers state is mainly an Igboid enclave and amalgam of Igbo and Ijaws in other places. |
AjiereTuwo:ChinenyeN is not Ndoki, his opinion on this topic are not but his opinion. He can only represent his Ngwa people. Ndoki has a Facebook page. I'm a member of that group. Just go search them on facebook and come and Post this trash there. The amount of e- beating you will receive eh, the Ijaw demon in you will free you. I will be waiting for you there. |
3) the people of azumini, abriba, ohambele et al have had trading relationships with the Ibani and as an a result d culture has become mixed Madness! Ijaw land grabber. |
Chiwude:It's her. The cheap bleaching creaming using shameless Igbophobic woman. |
SaffronSpice:1. There is no guarantee that the rotation of power between the West and Feudal North would have been easy, judging by the antecedent of the North. 2. Yes, but your resistance will be met with brute force of the law, like Awo met under Balewa and there won't be shortage of Yoruba Muslims to sell you lots out to the North. 3. Yes. But antecedents speak for themselves. In the face of military actions, SW won't stand a chance against the North. 4. No such terminology in the Eastern region. The Niger Delta, the colonial one included parts of the Midwest too. Niger Delta was not a term we used in Eastern region. 5. There was enough momentum within the minorities rank in the Midwest to successfully carryout a plebiscite, there was a consensus of purpose. This wasn't same in the East. There were many high ranked minorities that were henchmen in the NCNC government in the the East. The Mbus, Akpabios, Imokes, Opigos, etc. Those men were pro unity of Eastern region, making it impossible for the COR movement to provide a United front. A plebiscite couldn't hold because there was no consensus of opinion. Awo and Yorubas were against the Midwest minorities movement for secession, their hands were forced, because there was consensus of purpose amongst the minorities. Only few minorities like Enahoro favoured unity of the region, the Oba of Bini having been relegated to second fiddle by Yoruba kings, was leading the Midwest separation front. No such thing happened in the East. Don't also forget that it was the lack of unity in the West, as represented by the greed of Awo and Akintola that opened the widow of opportunity for the minorities there, in the East, no such disunity, Okpara was easily allowed to run his things without interference by Zik. |
SaffronSpice:Who deliberately poisoned the food being smuggled in from Nigeria to Biafra to discourage food getting into Biafra in order to ensure their starvation policy succeeded haven blockaded the region? They were deliberately poisoned by Nigerians to discourage smuggling. Biafra was not getting its protein from the North and Europe free of charge before the war, she was importing them with her money, and should the North had refused to sell, without the blockade, she could easily import from Cameroun, Europe and anyother part of the World. |
mrvitalis:When you have nothing meaningful to contribute, you keep quite. It's not a must to comment, Mr "I am Igbo". |
2. THE DEAL BROKERED FOR THE FORMATION OF APC IS THAT TINUBU WOULD PRODUCE THE VICE FOR THE FIRST FOUR YEARS, AND THEN SUBSEQUENTLY THE SOUTHWEST WOULD PRODUCE A PRESIDENT (GOOGLE: BUHARI MAY NOT DO TWO TERMS: TINUBU). A SIMILAR DEAL WAS BROKERED (IN SECRET) WITH OKOROCHA TO BECOME VP IN 2019. |
nku5:The suffersticated ones think they deceive anyone with their treachery but themselves. Buhari and North know them better, their game is up. |
It will be interesting to see Yorubas unleash their Media propaganda machine gun on Buhari government. ![]() The thing go sweet belly too much. Feels good to be an Igbo man right now. |
The North is set to dump the Yorubas. They have served their purpose. This is not time for Ndiigbo to laugh at Yorubas, this is a time for sober reflection for us. Soon the North will all congregate in PDP, they are hoping to use Ndiigbo to checkmate whatever tantrum the Yorubas will throw post this fall out. We must not fall into the trap the Yorubas fell into. Alliance with the North should be a No No. You don't align with the devil to spite a Demon. You stay as far away from the devil and demon, and even build a fence between you and them. We stand for what we had always stood for since 1967. |
Of course, we don’t hear ibos laying claim to Abuja as a no man’s land, afterall, its been the nation’s capital for a while now. We all know what will be their fate if such a provocative and odious allusion were made by them in the hands of those who just love to use them as target practice whenever the mood takes them and to remind them of their true status in the union they birthed. We lay claim to all parts of Nigeria we find ourselves. El rufia had already told who cared to listen, about those who owe majority of Abuja real estate. Yorubas are not immune to the North butchery attitude. Not long ago, A Yoruba preacher was massacred by Northerners and they also killed you lots right in "No man's land" during an inter ethnic clash you people had with them not long ago. They have been butchering you people before the colonials arrived the shores of Lagos, right from when Oyo Ile was ransacked in Katunga, to Ilorin conquest? and the butchery is not showing any sign of abating soon. Leave Ndiigbo out of your delusions. |
And who says we are sharing lagos with you? Only in the deluded fragment of your warped and impish imaginations. We own Lagos and determine its future regardless of other Nigerians whom we accommodate in the city. Ok , i concur with you. You were only trying to repay us for not falling for your Trojan horse which was obviously an hegemonic strategy but unfortunately we saw through your infantile pranks. Awa ta gun esin lo do iya won, eyin wa fe gun ketete wa do ti wa- Yorubas that rode on a (flashy) horse to go and bleep other people's mother and you are trying to bleep ours on a shegoat. what arrant non sense!!! You not only share Lagos with Ndiigbo, you share it with other Nigerian groups. It's your burden. And one day, if the colonial entity persists, an Igbo will rule over you in Lagos as a democratically elected governor. We already have Igbo house members in Lagos state Assembly and in Ndubuisi Kanu and Ebitu Ukiwe, we already had produced military administrators of Lagos state. |
Empire builders, indeed!! You will have to have built an enviable empire in your homestead before you attempt to proceed to another man’s land to build your bogus empire. Why is it that you folks only dream of turning another man's region into an utopia but your ancestral land, you avoid like the plague? Igbos are not Empire builders, we are republicans. It's hypocritical to hear those who take glory in phantom histories of conquering and annexing lands of other people in the process of empire building, turn around and accuse Ndiigbo who never engaged in such ventures as being coverteous, greedy and land grabbing. What's the driving force behind empire building if not greed for the lands, human resources, mineral resources of neighbouring groups? This to me is ironic. |
