@ Poster, You are on your way to recovery with the confession. Moving forward, try being conscious of the temper all the time and make efforts to defeat the monster by choosing not to get angry. Believe me you can control yourself. Also try moving away from the cause of the anger, at least to reduce its effect, you could always come back to address the issue on your terms. All the best! |
Delta007 gave some advice you can use. I wont say much for now because you are not even qualified to relocate yet, whatever you do, make sure the relocation is legit so you don't start running from your shadow! Relocation is not an easy thing especially if you like point and kill for Mushin ![]() People have said don't do it because 1 million naira every month is big money! I will say don't do it until you have a plan. You will succeed wherever you go, it won't happen immediately but shouldn't be difficult for a businessman like you. I don't care whether it's only 2 hours of day and 22 hours of night, wherever a man find peace is where home is. Don't have much time to write now maybe I will stop by later. |
yanizi:Garment importation into Nigeria is banned, smuggling is illegal and should not be encouraged. I have encountered manufacturers in China and India encouraging smuggling and yet turned around to complain of being scammed! What do you people expect when you try to beat the system? Take the garment business elsewhere!! |
Oga Lawyer, I have paid attention to some of your write ups especially the Okun Aja and Okun Mopo land. I wouldn't buy those lands but for other reasons that does not have to do with your integrity. I believe that I understand your temperament some bit to conclude that your decision is one big mistake you should avoid, at least for your sake. (1) You cannot triumph if you run from little issues like name calling and wrong accusations. Fire does not destroy gold, only purifies it! (2) Does comments change the nature of scorpion? No! Scorpion must sting. (3) Can you keep somebody down without staying down with him? Don't think so. Are you willing to throw away the follower ship you've built and still building? Your decision will hurt you more than the people you are trying to help. I wish you luck. |
d-ROC, No matter what advice you get here, you cannot go on a journey that your strength cannot handle. You already have doubts and the future is so unpredictable. All the best, |
It's so freaking easy to see why people lose money, too much emotion and almost zero sense in financial planning. Even the cheapest of land is not for everybody and N1.5Million is not cheap! All decisions should be taken in accordance with individual financial goals, otherwise this herd mentality will kill some more people. All the best to everybody. |
Agbo2:Put up some more info and you will get some advice you can use. Age, single or married, employment status in naija, etc. It is easy to apply if your occupation is on the list (check cic website). The real deal is post-immigration. All the best! |
ammamat:You finally got what you are looking for? My advice is that you stop this faking business and refrain from tempting people whether or not you break up with him. |
toba:210,000Naira is not so big in a generator economy! Saving to own a house and vehicle should take the major chunk of the monthly pay but diesel alone will take a quarter of that money, that is a big distortion. |
While this seems to be cheap, you also have to consider that it is by the beach. If you intend to live there, do not be deceived, you will spend so much money to fill up and prepare your foundation otherwise your house will end up SINKING. Anything cheap along the beach side has to be along 300,000 naira per plot. Anything above is expensive. Don't let anyone decieve you. You will spend more money to build your house than you would in any other part of lagos.
Excellent comment! Hope somebody will pay attention to this to prepare for the future. Otherwise na buy, hold and sell later be dat. |
@ poster, I know a bad market when I see one, simply from experience. You are learning, better luck next time! |
@ poster, And taking your marriage concern to a public forum is right? You should be sitting down talking to your husband, that's where your concerns and feelings should be expressed. All the best! |
fashbabe:Don't take life too serious all the time! |
Driving abroad is dull, why build cars with high capability and then impose speed limits? What traffic lights? We synchronize our driving at intersections, it's part of the fun. Traffic jams? What better excuse for getting to work late? Zebra crossings? But we don't have zebras in Nigeria, or at least not on our roads. They better rename them human crossings if they want us to respect them. Road rage? Aren't we naturally aggressive and we are we to express our frustration with People Deceiving People government. Naija takes the trophy! Naija for life ![]() |
I doubt that you know what you want in a lady! You need to step back and sort that out first before making plans to get married. You are dating Evania seriously but still "changing channels"? C'mon boy! Sort yourself out first before the depression do you in. |
God is not an author of confusion but He does not tamper with our freewill. It is difficult and not exactly right to commend or condemn your decision but life must go on for both of you. Hope you find love and happiness someday soon. |
oluajana:This is pretty dumb! We should allow the injustice and stupidity continue because he used to defend obj's excesses while in office?? We can stop criticising those in government since history will catch up with them. And he committed a crime by promoting yaradua's candidacy? Ha! |
Beware of analysis paralysis! Can there be deliverance without shedding of blood? |
Your brother should forget about doing his residency in Canada except if he is a Canadian resident (at the minimum). Not sure of current situation in the US but you can google the USMLE for further details. All the best. |
We need a link for terrible subordinates too! Am gonna be watching here closely, woe betides anybody that put me here. I will surely double your yoke! ![]() Seriously, you lack one or two skills if you cannot manage your boss. Workplace is no primary school and people face different kinds of pressures. Its not easy to be the boss in naija where most employees play all sorts of games to cheat the system! |
proudly9ja:Imagine the case of a state governor, presented with ideas on some development projects on a free platform. We just wanted him to start working on something, you can't imagine his response after the presentation. It's easy to lose hope if you move close to those in government without being strong willed and principled. Ideas have not been in short supply but those guys just don't have the vision or interest to do anything. Am not sure the slogan has changed - "share the money"! |
proudly9ja:@poster, Good idea, but believe me that there are many proposals already in custody of the federal govt. Even something better than what Bi-Courtney has offered to do on Lagos-Ibadan! We need to first get over the nonsense ethnic problems plaguing the nation before any meaningful development can take place. Check with the National assembly and you will know that federal projects are shared based on stupid sentiments. Also, without true federalism we cannot go far. Nigeria is a difficult nation with nothing uniting us as of today. |
Udobass:God bless you! We are a joke as a people and should not expect the battle to be won until we are serious in our thinking. So Ribadu didnt do much? I wonder why the AGF is the lawyer defending certain individuals then. Nigeria stinks so much that the clean up cannot but be dirty! This is what Sanusi is also going through, and will go through for a while. |
Just to take this down; Vehicle sold without all the added benefits. |
This thread is pretty dumb, this is 2009, competition is a way of life. Everything is being redefined and every entrepreneur should know how to play the game. Would have been surprised if no artiste bothered to play the game differently. What's the cry about if its the end of Kennis music? They played their part, others should play theirs ifyalways:And what's wrong with that? Are you a Nigerian at all? Am sure you have a word or 2 for Ben Bruce too! |
