spyder880: Thank you, this is exactly what I heard, that the priest placed a curse on the land and because of that no development can happen there. Such a prominent site, very well positioned for any type of business.
Gov.Peter Obi prized the land last year for 1billion,but the owner Paschal and J. Insisted on 2billion. Infact he is the one doing those clean up.

donchris33: guy are you a kid? Are you a ten year
S old boy? What should he contribute? Don't you know pointb is a fraud, trying to massage his ego here on nairaland. All your contributions are not needed by that fraud of a guy. He just opened this thread to consolidate his fraudulent acts. Pointb is trying to be the godfather of igbos on nairaland. he imposes someone on ndigbo and opens another thread for reform. Lol. Guy stop being a kid, that guy is a real fraud. See through him, he is just trying to be a godfather which we igbos can never accept.
being a kid is irrelevant. What I know is that after drafting this laws governing the election/office of NL Ndigbo, the law is going to be endorsed not by POINTB, but by Igbos in Nl( with a higher percentage of vote). So contribute and chill.

Greetings my people, 'ndi nwe mu na ndi mu nwe, ekene mu unu' The issue of who should be allowed to vie for the post of Eze or Ezenwanyi ndigbo Nl is been overflogged, those nominated for these posts must accept their nominations, failure to do so is akin to disqualification. Prior to the election, the contestants must present their manifestos, they must convince us (electorates) of their Igboness, either language or stating their state, LGA,Town, village and kindred, issues regarding their Igboness should be used as campagne against them. Let the electorate decide,
I kinda suspected it early enough. On the part of Ogugua, it also doesn't help matters that she once made this statement:

https://www.nairaland.com/934808/eze-ndi-igbo-parliamentary-office#11063041

Yes, from the eyes of a detached outsider, this may come as an ovation-worthy speech. But from a really critical and analytical point of view, this post is nothing more than a pointlessly idealistic statement from a person completely out of touch with Nigeria's cold ethnic realities.
It's easy to sit and just say "Let us come together and fix this country" right from behind your keyboard in Southern California; but I am not fooled by the circular logic that suggests you 'fix your country' when you haven't even fixed your home. In case you don't know, redemption starts from the inside out (Mind - Body - Household - District - Town - Tribe - Ethnic nation - and THEN country) - not the outer way back.

So, that brings me to the 'Igbo Cause'.
Anybody who thinks the 'Igbo cause' is just about "Biafra" and secession, is best languishing in the Romance section for an excruciatingly painful eternity.

Just for people who don't know...

The Igbo cause is about the re-unification of the Igbo for its progress and prosperity.
The Igbo cause is a movement aimed at eliminating the clannish, divisive, stone-age mindset especially showcased by animals like Chino and to an extent, Okija Juju (bros, no vex, but you sabi say na true) grin
People like Chucky234 wouldn't be posting junk day in and day out in a bid to convince people we are not Igbo.
Ikwerre people wouldn't still be lying to themselves even in the 21st century regarding their identity.

So you see, instead of posting some meaningless nationalistic crap, I'd rather unite with my tribesmen and clean up our homes first, because ther's obviously a lot of work to be done.

This is why I'd rather vote Policewoman, who, even as a Rivers indigene, still identifies fully with her ethnic nation.
GBAM!!! That is why I voted her as Ezenwanyi but Policewoman as Lolo

Tinyemeka: Correct your grammar. It's 'renounce' not 'renounced'.

Who brought about the drastic re-alignment and improvement in PHCN, NAFDAC, Budget Monitoring Office, Banking industry (consolidation era), Finance ministry and a whole lot of other key sectors of the country? Bro think before you comment.

Tribalism is an archaic and illiterate concept, but I can only imagine what Nigeria would become if someone like Dora Akunyili or Barth Nnaji were to become President of Nigeria. Well time will tell.
Well said!
PoliticsRe: N106BN Approved For New Airport Terminals by Ikology(m): 1:06pm On Sep 07, 2012
Chinom: The Enugu International Airport is long overdue. This project must be pursued aggressively. We need to decongest Lagos by making it possible for Airlines from USA and Europe to land at Enugu direct from their bases.
The Enugu International Airport has the potentials of being the most viable airport in the country.

SO HURRY UP WITH THE UPGRADE..

There is massive upgrading of Enugu International Airport ungoing, The state government has currently awarded the dualisation of roads( Enugu- Abakaliki) leading to this airport with an advanced AIRPORT INTERCHANGE which will accomodate a tunnell for train, connecting Old airport road which is currently undergoing massive construction.

PoliticsRe: Igbos Unite For 2015 Presidency by Ikology(m): 9:43am On May 28, 2012
rhymz: I find it so annoying when some Yoruba posters here arrogate to themselves the power to choose who becomes Nigeria's President and try to pontificate to Igbos about Unity like they don't have disagreements, betrayal of purpose and backstabbers amongst themselvess.
Like seriously, you guyz need to get over yourselves. Like One_only has told you lot, your power is limited by the whims and caprices of the Nigerian Politician who cares very little about any stoopid allegiance when his personal interest is served. Yoruba this, yoruba that. . .incase una never realise, GEJ burst una "we own Nigerian myth", he did not even need any serious southwest support to win the election by a huge margin, neither were the claims of the SW being the deciding factor shown to be true. That election realy burst a lot of your larger than life claims and myth, so you guyz should calm da phuck down jor!! No one region can go it alone, whether SW, the whole of the north or even the entire Eastern region.

Now to the issue of the identity of Okija-Juju, I believe he is not Aljaharam. I am almost certain they are different, you can easily tell from the structure of what they write. Okija-Juju is far more articulate and makes more sense when he wants to get intellectual.
Okija-JUju is IGBO but a rabid isolationist that cares little about other Igbos except the Anambra Igbo(in that context, I agree with onlytruth when he says you are not Igbo cos no Igbo person will spew the hokum you are fond of spewing all the time) just like the other bigot too, Chino. They are Igbos but the type no sane Igbo person should be like.

Alja-haram on the other hand is a stooopid man's idea of an intellectual. He is a PRETENDER whose mission here on NL is to cross the Igbos against the Yorubas and vice versa, depending on the direction the ill-wind blows his nYansh.
He obviously is suffering from split personality disorder, he alone can start a thread, make inciting comments on it, use different generics to answer them just to get attention. His ego seems to thrive on stoopid antics that make Igbo and Yorubas fight on NL. He is so deluded that he can start a fight in an empty room. He is too damn easy to figure out, the guy is not smart and rely heavily on copy and paste junks.
Only a dunce like him will fall for his dumb antics of calling tribes out.

bisiaet: @ Kayusfity
You must be mad for including yoruba in your post. I was bashing all you bastard igbo's yesterday and seun's mod were shaking and running all around threads to block my post. Now they leave u bloody tribalist to spit poo as u wish. Did OBJ steal your father's money? Abi your yeye pastor wey dey take man of God rob u every Sunday no worst pass am? What of your igbo chuba okadigbo wey use N75million kill salah ram? Foolish slow poke.

I sincerely thank you may God bless you've said it all but I must tell you i'm not among those ugly head tribalist who claim the East are saint.

I have just said it in yesterday thread when a pastor was kidnapped and murder in my own state the most funniest thing was that my people went on holiday or busy too much in Onitsha market or Alaba Market that they could not comment on the issue but if it was a Yoruba name or Edo name or Akwa Ibom name or Hausa name that was mentioned my people would not be too busy then its then you'll see all sorts of abuse, name callings, tribal nonsense, biafra nonsense and so on but when an Igbo man name show up for any wrondoing then my people will disappear. Look at the way they turn Obj words to Yoruba matter as if it was entire Yoruba Obj spoke for this is so unfortunate.

They are now here to raise their ugly tribalist heads and vomit jargon because its Obj' so is it Obj alone that stole money in Nigeria? What about the so many kind of Okhadigbohuh? What about those our so called leaders who sold our birthright for lust of uncontrolled love for money that has snatched away presidency from our region till date, are we not celebrating these same people by covering our own dirty a s s and be attacking someone else dirty a s shuhhuhhuhhuhhuh?? Tribalist wake up. This is 2012 grow up and do something better with your time and stop digressing every serious issue to tribal issue, wake up this is affecting our generation by turning us everyday to a second class citizen in our own country making other tribe not to trust us a bit and "Aso Rock seat" become like abomination to the East just because of all these tribal rants and jargons guys wake up. I know this will anger them seriously because truth is their worst enermy. Dying of Ego, pride and tribal sentiment. God have mercy.
O boy you are more tribalistic than any other person or group you are refering to. Your generalisation is harsh and faulty

TheShopKeeper: It doesn't matter if GEJ reshuffles the cabinet now or never, I just can't wait until 2015 to help deliver my knockout blow with my one man, one vote at the ballot box. He and his team have really scored below average. So much for 'Fresh Air' and 'Transformation Agenda'
Thankfully, I never voted for him in the 2011 elections.

PoliticsRe: Andy Uba Declares For 2014 Anambra Gubernatorial Poll by Ikology(m): 1:26pm On May 08, 2012
Demdem: What is the purpose of a forum like if not to discuss issues being raised. Asking me who am i smacks childishness of the highest order. Am a Nigerian and that is more than enough. if u are not ok with that then leave this forum or go commit suicide.

Telling me Anambra has got all i mentioned shows how u swell in lies. Anambra has a long way to way especially when compared to even his neighbouring states like Delta and even Enugu. Go build ur airport, it wont change the fact that its a sttupid thing to do now.
Ogbeni you are derailing this. thread.

PoliticsRe: South East Nigeria Needs Three International Airports by Ikology(m): 4:13pm On Apr 02, 2012
I think in all honesty we should start pushing our leaders very hard for them to wake up to their responsibilities, our governors and representatives in the National assembly, have refused to put the interest of the region first before any other interest. Yes we were merely given only one International Airport in Enugu, Yet upgrading of the said Airport is still being toyed with. The immediate past minister of aviation is from Enugu state( Mrs Fidelia Njeze), while the current minister Stella Oduah is from Anambra state, and we also have Senator Hope Uzodinma ( rep. Imo east)as senate committee chairman on aviation. Our people are manning key positions yet nothing to show for it. I think we are missing the Ikaba boys! *smh*
