Theflint1:He’s healthy enough for me. Leading Nigeria isn’t rocket science. Everyone knows where the shoe pinches. It just takes a leader with compassion and empathy to tackle the major issues afflicting the country and things would fall in line. Age has nothing to do with being compassionate and empathetic. Theflint1:If you were to need a surgery without being an athlete, it means you aren’t healthy. If you are not healthy, why are you mocking another unhealthy person? White folks have a word for something like that. It’s called hypocrisy. |
Theflint1:He inherited a family business. No one needs any brains to claim inheritance. Theflint1:Asiwaju doesn’t need any surgery. He’s fine. He is running as Nigeria’s president, not training to become Man Utd’s right winger. Theflint1:Nope, wrong analogy. A footballer puts himself at risk everyday he steps on the pitch in a very rigorous sport. He’s kicked, pushed, tripped, elbowed, etc . He’s bound to break something or tear a muscle. Fayose is neither an athlete or a laborer. Why is he correcting a posture if he’s healthy? Don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house. |
Theflint1:If Fayose is healthy, why was he doing surgery on a spine? Was it a cosmetic surgery? |
Theflint1:He didn’t get third class. He got a pass(certificate of attendance, more like). |
raumdeuter:Buhari is stronger than Fayose.

Theflint1:Lagos stopped being the capital 31 years ago. If Lagos was as prosperous as you made it sound, the increase in IGR shouldn’t have been that significant under Tinubu’s excellent governance. The governors before him would have pushed through the billion mark before he did. Your excuse is weak. Theflint1:All the factors you listed are symptoms of an overpopulated mega city. New York, Mumbai, etc. Lagos overpopulation is a symptom of the failure of the other 35 states in Nigeria. 90% of Anambra’s best brains all reside in Lagos. How do you expect the facilities in Lagos to cope with 22m population? Under normal circumstances, the population of Lagos shouldn’t be more than 1m, but Peter Obi’s people would rather live in Lagos than in Anambra. There’s a reason for that. Theflint1:Yet, Obi’s people have refused to leave the war-torn looking Lagos state and reside in their peaceful Dubai looking Anambra and environs. Why would anyone leave his ultra peaceful state of origin to start residing in a war torn looking city? Is it mental illness? Theflint1:Obi inherited a family business. Even a dog would maintain the status quo. Obi even had the opportunity as a governor to sink state funds into a failing business. It’s the story of a dunce that became a thief. With his pass in Philosophy and a humble family background, Obi would be driving keke NAPEP in the heart of Anambra state. Not even a primary school would hire someone that went to UNN and graduated with an ordinary pass in a course as simple as philosophy. One of the professors of UNN came on social media the other day to defend Obi. Her excuse was that Obi got a pass not because he’s a dullard but because he studied the wrong course. ![]() |
Theflint1:Tinubu graduated with a summa cum laude in Chicago, the very top of his class. We can also see evidence of what he transformed Lagos State into. Obi graduated with a pass in Philosophy at UNN. Academically, it’s a disgrace that we can even be mentioning both names in the same sentence. Even if we acknowledge that being booksmart doesn’t necessarily translate to being a good leader, let’s focus on the respective legacies of both candidates. Tinubu’s magic turned a N600m IGR in Lagos to over N50 billion a year with smart policies and putting the best brains around at helm of the government after he left. Obi had medical doctors striking for 13 months after sinking state funds into family business. Obi later claimed he saved N75 billion for Anambra while his doctors were starving. Imagine a father of 4 kids coming to Nairaland to brag that he’s got N100m in his current account while all his children are afflicted with chronic Kwashiorkor. We would all tell him to go to hell but this is Nigeria. Anything goes… … … |
Nigerians are funny people. They would choose a young dullard over an old genius. ![]() |

How did the cheque reach the hands of her in-laws? Stupid woman. |
Leyqute:It could be - because of the tax codes in different countries. For instance, Pogba’s salary at Juventus is €8m. His net salary in Italy is more than earning €14m in England. Pogba wanted €20m salary in England, United offered him €14m salary but he settled for €8m in Italy. Many people laughed at him at the downgrade but his take home pay in Italy is slightly more than what United offered him. |
Karleb:It’s the wage structure and it went to shit after Moyes offered Rooney £300k/week after Sir Alex left Man Utd. Shaw was on £150k/week, there was no way his deputy or back up player would get anything less than half of that amount. Brandon Williams was on £65k/week and even Axel Tuanzebe was on £50k/week. All these players would be lucky to earn up to £30k/week at Liverpool but Man Utd are cheerful givers. Andy Robertson is on £50k/week in spite of his PL/UCL/FA cup/etc trophies and you have the calamitous Luke Shaw drawing triple that amount every week with zero output. |
29,000 tickets sold after Ronaldo hinted he would play today. A friendly/preseason game is now sold out because of Cristiano. Ronaldo is superhuman! |
Ronaldo starts. This should be a good watch. |
Eaziimoney:Who’s this retård? Your username looks like one of those faggöt pörnstars on GRINDR. |
Leyqute:You lie too much. I said the team had no weakness and at this point, only City can beat City. Even the great Barca team that won sextuple lost few games along the way. There’s no team that is unbeatable but I cannot be blamed for the way you interpret my post. Leyqute:Only City can beat City. That sentence literally means City players have to totally mess up before opponents can beat them. You should take an IQ test if you don’t know the meaning of that statement. Jeeeeez! ![]() |
Leyqute:Any team can lose a one off game. City lost the same competition last season but they still won the league. Pep has won 4 PL titles in 5 seasons. They are still the team to beat. Keep focusing on irrelevant games, come what May…..Pep would lift the PL title again. |
1 v 1 with goalie, Leroy Sane cancelled a covering defender and the goalkeeper when put through on goal to score. Rashford had a similar chance today and couldn’t even get a shot from the chance. The gap in output between the players in the big team and United players is too wide. |
ovoP:That’s what I expect. United should be competing. With the amount of money spent in the last 3-5 years, we should be playing like Bayern. Does it not surprise you that no matter what Bayern do(change manager, change CEO, change kit an, change back room staff, etc), their standards never drop? |
Oasis007:By then, the fans & the media would have pushed him out of the job. United are too big a club to wait for 2 complete seasons without winning anything. The owners have to spend right now and at least guarantee a cup competition or two. It’s the only way to keep the fans in line and the only way to keep the media’s mouth shut until ETH wins the big prizes. ETH has asked for 4 extra players, the board needs to get him those players or we would be looking for another manager in the next 18 months. A board that can give Ole £500m should be giving ETH at least £300m this transfer window. |
Bayern 3-0 already. Pavard with the 3rd goal. All these teams are miles ahead of Man Utd. |
Leyqute:Man City beat Man City, as predicted. Mahrez and Grealish don’t understand how to play with Haaland. They are so used to making 8 touches before getting the ball to their striker. Haaland made more than 10 intelligent runs behind Liverpool defence and he did not get a single pass. It will take a while but City are still the team to beat. |
MRTA7:I am glad you are seeing what I am seeing. Liverpool/City brand of football looks so advanced. United’s football is like women football compared to this. |
Goddamn! This Man City team is scary. Where’s the weakness? None. At this point, Only Man City can beat Man City. |
nani667:Anti-Ronaldo bots claimed the attack you just witnessed was on its way to score 120 goals last season until Ronaldo came in to ruin their confidence and their chemistry. ![]() Rashford is still shít, Martial is uninterested and Elanga shouldn’t even be in the reserve team. The ease at which half-baked academy graduates just walk into our first team is disgusting. |
patrickmuf:The build up from the back has also improved significantly but these are preseason friendlies(no pressure). I want to see it replicated in PL games to be sure those defenders have improved. |
Lindelof is such a shïtty defender, too soft. Atletico stole the ball while United was in transition. If Lindelof had the common sense to foul the player on the ball before the pass was made to Joao Felix, he could have prevented that goal. United were thread bare at the back. A sensible defender would commit a foul, take one for the team and prevent a goal. Lindelof allowed himself to be destroyed and the pass just exposed De Gea. Eric Bailly is a better defender by a country mile. |
kozmicity:They were able to change up to 10 players in the 60th minute and that gave them the edge. United should have scored about two to three goals though. |
Englishisamust:You need to see it to believe it. It was a disgraceful header. The biggest disappointment to me today is Rashford. He’s messed up every through ball he got, Fred has been sent off. |
What a goal! Atleti with a glorious goal. |
eph12:It was a free header from 5 yards or so. There was no marker. It was Maguire and a gaping net and the ball was headed into throw-in. |

. And once I go for a surgery, however little it might be I'm automatically comparable to the sickest patient in the hospital...lol
