I'll adopt a 'wait & see' attitude.

For all those complaining about a Minister not knowing 'anything' about a minstry. You are probably misinformed.

A Minister doesn't have to be a Dr to manage the Health Ministry,or be an Engineer to manage Minstry of Works.

As a matter of fact Minster of Justice (where its separate from Attorney-General) need not be a lawyer . . . yes you read right tongue!

Just as Govs don't have to be political science or public admin graduates.

biina:
1. Fire Rafa and get a manager that can work with a limited budget (like O'neil). If a big enough offer comes, sell Gerard.
2. Some rich smuck buys out Hicks and Gillete.
The former is the more plausible solution. A season outside the champions league will really dent liverpool's finances.
O neill? I laugh in hausa grin grin grin Livepool has passed the level of this British managers i beg. We'll continue to look to bigger footballing countries (or Mark Hughes)

bgees:
I think it is unfair to put the whole blame on Rafa. our senior players must take the blame too. Gerrard, Carra and Mascherano started the season poorly and while Mascherano seems to have recovered , Carra and Gerrard especially have not been convincing at all.

Yes blame Rafa for funny line -ups, and substitutions but on transfers? i still refuse to put trhe whole blame on him. the man has seriously tried to sign us some world class players and he failed on many occassions except when he signed Torres. and when he failed to sign his first choices , he went for second choices .

But ,. whatever might be needed to take the club forward should be done, even if it means sacking Rafa.
My guy. . .let me give you a list of 'disappointments'/Injuries to fellow EPL contenders ('Top 4') this season:
MANURE-Anderson,Owen(injury).Hargreaves(injury)
CHELSKI-Essien,Ashley C,Joe Cole(part) Anelka(jan) Drogba ,Kalou(nations Cup)
ARSE-ANAL - Bendtner,Fabregas(on&off),Eduardo,Rosicky. . & the list goes on.
Every team has to deal with these issues every season, the players will not perform if they don't see the team having any direction. Riera's outburst on rafa poor communication skills should be further scrutinized.

Yes,some players aren't as switched off. . . but good teams still get by. . . .thats why we are(or were ) THE MIGHTY REDS

The fact is ultimately, the blame should lie with Rafa.

Poor marksmanship was to blame for the draw against B'ham. The fact is we do not necessarily have to play well to win games. . . .that the stuff of champions.

Ngog is not a premiership level player,he can't hold his own & hardly troubles defenders.

All reasonable clubs have back up strikers,we cannot continue to rely solely on Torres tho' he's being uncharacteristically missing some sittersrecently ,so the back up strikers should shore up the goal tally.

David Ngog has gotten good first team exposure over the last couple of seasons,if he hasn't improved up till now, its either

1. He's not up to it-then we'll like to know how he found his way unto our payroll

2. He's not received proper development plan/support - who's responsible for this? Your guess is as good as mine.

So anyway you look at it,Rafa must take the blame.

Like I stated in my last post,I just pray he hasn't damaged the club so much that our main players would decide to live.

Sad,sad day for a great club cry cry cry

When I see kids of nowadays being punished by their parents I laugh. The punishment goes like sit down there and dont ever get up or face the wall or even go to your room and dont come out until you are told otherwise. My own parents, if they cant be bothered to beat you anymore, then the punishment galore takes effect like stool down - I dont know if people remember this. It is when you're touching the floor with just your index finger and raising one leg up or the other one where you sit on the floor with both legs and arms up. You dare not let your feet touch the ground cos the cane beside my mum will easily get to you without her getting up from her seat. By the time you finished serving your punishment, your blood flow is confused.
'Stool down' was the punishment back then. . . . . .one would gladly take his strokes than 'stool down'    cheesy

Jokes EtcThe Duck And The Bartender by illusion2(op): 12:15pm On Apr 04, 2010
A duck walks into a bar and asks the bar tender, "Got any 'gwapes'?", and the bartender replies, "No, sorry I don't sell grapes here." So the duck leaves and goes home to rest and the next day he walks into the same bar and asks the bar tender, "Got any gwapes?" The bartender replies, "No, sorry I don't sell grape here." The duck leaves and goes home to rest and the next day, he goes back to the bar and asks the bartender, "Got any gwapes?" The bartender angrily replies, "I don't want to have to tell you again, I don't sell grapes here and if you ask me again I will nail your beek to the counter of the bar!" The duck leaves and goes home to rest. The next day the duck goes to the bar and asks, "Got any nails?" The bartender looks at him and screams, "No, we don't have any nails!" The duck then asks, "Got any gwapes?"

Torres missed some sitters which honestly called to question his concentration level.

@ illusion2
thanks for your insightful question.

in the beginning souls were with God in the ocean of love and mercy, which is the abode of God.

but these souls created in the image and likeness of God were immature and could not understand or comprehend their divine nature.

so in order to help these souls to develop their full potentials God created what we know as the lower planes with earth inclusive. souls were then sent down to these planes to start their lessons in order to realize their divine nature.

God then created the person christians know as the Devil. we call him Kal in Eckankar.

the work of the Devil is to provide exams just like in a school to find out which soul has developed enough to go back home to God.

the exams that Kal sets is what christians call temptations and we call them trials.

so you see the Devil is working for God. there is no quarrel between them. that is why he has to tempt Jesus to find out if he was really ready for his mission.

the same happens to all of us. the journey of souls spans millions of life times. this is because it takes a lot of time and effort for a change of consciousness to occur. souls will keep on coming back to the lower planes until it becomes a lover of life.

then and only then will the circle of rebirth close for it. the person who has mastered the lessons of love goes on to become a spiritual master and becomes a co- worker with God.

i am still open to more questions.
