I think it all depends  on your capabilities as an IT professional and where you get a job in naija, most times when you live n work out of the country you might be more favorable, n you gotta sell yourself high above their expectation. i think you should give it a try for like 1-6 months, if its not for you then move back. wouldn't hurt to try it out. just don't move your family yet.

this reminds me of when i was young, i never wanted to get married to a nigerian man, though i went out with them. just didn't see them as someone who i could end up with. my dad  kept pushing to marry a calabar guy. anyway long story short i married a nigerian from benin city. guess when you get older things n situations change your perspective on life.

I was shocked when my little brother called me this morning, while i was asleep telling me Bernie Mac was dead. i was like its a lie because 2 days ago a guy on a radio station here in california was trying to convince people that he wasn't dead. i did not believe it until my lil bro said it was front news on yahoo. n then my lil sis called to tell me the same story. May his soul rest in peace. he will be greatly missed. i watch his tv show every night from 12am-1am. it would just suck watching it n knowing that he is dead.

sometimes my husband gets me so pissed off that i just shut down, because i am the kind of person that starts crying when i feel hurt, the tears is just uncontrollable. so instead of acting like a fool i just shut down and become quiet just to calm my nerves, then my husband starts to think i am keeping malice. which pisses me off the more because i do have a short fuse and when i go off, i say things i regret later, which is why i try hard to keep my cool. so sometimes it is good to let people deal with anger in their own way as long as it calms them down.

totally agree, the most annoying part is when they flash you from naija n you are in the states, they expect you to call them back.

when it comes to love and relationships, there is always a reason. if not then men and women would not waste their time cheating on each other because they loovvee each other, if you can't come up with a reason why you love me then you prolly don't. even God has a reason why he loves us all (because we are his children) so why shouldn't the guy in question have a reason.

Be honest, have you done something to make her loose trust in you because it sounds to me that your girl of 4 years plus does not trust you, and it sounds like you are trying to compensate for something. since you have tried to talk to her about it n it ain't working out you have 2 options, either you break up or suck it up and come to the realization that your babe has a hard time showing emotions

why don't you try to find out why she is that way b4 coming to conclusions. someone must have broken her heart which makes it hard for her to love or trust anyone. for example i don't call my husband pet names because i honestly cannot bring myself to say words like hunny or sweetie, because i think its too cheesy and i get worried how it would sound when i say it. when i call him on the phone i say "hey wats up" and he says "hey baby, or hey my wife". so there might be a reason you just need to find out by asking her, if she cannot open up then find someone else.

the way i see it is if the guy doesn't wanna introduce you to his friends cuz he thinks you would be flirty or his friends would snatch you from him then he is insecure, if he is embarrased of you then you don't need to be with him in the first place.

i say ignore or tell her you have a gf. im sure there is an ignore button on the chat you are using. its that simple
