God did not create us spirits,we are humans and we have flesh. Yes, it is true that our spirits are taken off our body at death, but we are given a new body immediately after our resurrection to live on, this is after our old body is dead.

Therefore what is real is resurrection. Resurrection here on this earth is the true heaven, heaven isnt a mysterious place beyond the reach of man.
Christ says I'm the resurrection and the life.

The way bible is written, it is full of fictional expressions all of which have specific meanings. We shouldn't take those fictional expressions to be real, we should find their meanings which are actually the real thing.
remember! these same disciples of Jesus were so fictional in their thinking so they misunderstood Jesus. They thought God's kingdom was going to come down immediately from the clouds the day Jesus was to be crucified. Luke 19:11
Since they were expecting fictions ofcourse God will give them fiction to see.
They wanted to see Christ ascending, perhaps that is fiction they wanted in their imagination to see, and that is what they saw the day Christ ascended, but inspite what all those miracles they saw, many of them still doubted. That's why Jesus described that generation of Israelites as wicked and adulterous.

Now, today Christians we need to ask ourselves, should we be like those disciples with fictional minds?

We are more educated, literal and realistic and understand God more better.

He created Adam and Eve from the beginning and instructed man, replenish this earth. Adam sinned death came. But Christ resurrected and restore that eternal life back to man. Now we are still here to fulfill that mandate, we are replenishing this earth in our own little way, we ain't go anywhere.

The truth is, we all who believe in Christ today are already in heaven.
Check the scripture i quoted ,it says He that believe in me hath everlasting life, not will have everlasting life in the future.
Adam and eve lost their everlasting life, but Christ came to restore that everlasting life back to mankind.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

So, we are already made alive through Christ and are translated into heaven.

Again, it's not every storm that is caused by prayerlessness or not watching. Jesus Himself faced storms literally, and told His followers that in the world, they'd have tribulations. So, yes, problem can be as a result of sin or carelessness. BUT not always or 100%. When Herod slew children at the birth of Jesus, it was not as a result of anyone's sin. Sometimes, things do happen that only the Sovereign God can really say or give closure.

I repeat, there is error somewhere. There is a difference between those two where persecuted for the gospel sake. It's not the same thing. A child of God is not supposed to die by accident or illness. If it happens, you broke the hedge.

I have been a believer for over 30 years and I can tell those times I had near death experience where times I strayed away from the faith. But I was also quick to repent and God had mercy on me. I can never die untimely death. It's impossible unless I walk in gross error. This is the gospel truth. Keep yourself and that wicked one cannot touch you - 1st John 5:18.

Careful sir, there's a balance. Children of God can die through sickness or accidents but are not supposed to. Not every sickness or accidents or resulting death is because of a broken hedge. A Christian can die like Lazarus, or like Epaphroditus almost did. There was no broken hedge or sin. Sometimes, we all face storms and challenges. While all can turn to testimony or for God's glory, not every believer believes enough for the situation. There's no more keeping Jesus could have kept Himself, or prayers He would have prayed from the storm. That storm would kill a great percentage of Christians and non christians.

It's unfortunate. But death is a part of life. God didn't promise that there's no physical death. While He wants to and promises to protect us, we have our parts to play. A drowning man is very difficult to save even with experience. There are some play you don't need to play if you are not safe. It doesn't mean you can't be fulfilled or happy.

Hian. Is it not no pain no gain? Let everything be done moderately. You cannot or should not shield your children from all pain. No good parent does that, even God.

Today I was in church, during testimony time, a woman came out and testified of how she just started going to church again after 7 months.

She said she started worshiping with Deeper Life in 1989. Then her first daughter got married to a pastor in another church. Her Deeper Life State Pastor suspended her for 6 months for allowing her daughter marry an "unbeliever". What?

Later, her son got married again outside Deeper Life. She was again suspended for allowing her son marry another 'unbeliever'.

Again, the 2nd daughter married a pastor from Apostolic church. This got her pastor infuriated so much that she was given 2-year suspension for allowing her daughter to marry an 'unbeliever' again. What nonsense?

She couldn't take it again. She told the pastor she couldn't have told her 27-year-old daughter who to marry because she's of age to make decisions for herself and that she should not be made to suffer for her children's decision.

The woman stopped going to church. She said she still has 4 more daughters and she can't control who they fall in love with.

Now she has started with another church 7 months after leaving Deeper Life.

How would you have handled the situation if you were in the woman's shoes?

I know this was true "before before" in DeeperLife but i don't believe it is still so.
