Did god approve of the killing, yes or no..... Implying that God could not stop the tragedy from happening is saying god is not omnipotent
implying how? What if God approved of the killing or not, that's the point. His approval or disapproval doesn't change anything. He's still God, you're still a random fellow going to hell fire, I'm still in love with Jesus.

I like how u are indirectly saying what Elisha did to those children isn't worthy of emulation. That's as close as we will probably get to a honest Christian on this thread. More honest and logical than Enshy's condescending "he's authority" answer.
i didn't say that, you probably want to hear that. i said follow Jesus Christ. Telling you Elisha did fine or not is useless. You can't copy him, and even if you did, no reward.

Since the day i got to know that some books were deliberately removed from Bible (the reason for that is best known to them that did that)
I have putting it upon myself to search for those books, read it and try to know the reason of them been remove
but i was so disappointed because nothing was wrong with those once i have read

The question i would have love to ask the 'authority' that remove a book like "Wisdom Of Solomon" from the Bible is:
how will Christians understand the level of Solomon's wisdom if a book like this is not in the Bible?

You can read bellow a chapter from Wisdom Of Solomon and find out if this book worth to be in Bible or not

WISDOM OF SOLOMON chapter 3 (1 to end)

"1 But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and there shall no torment touch them.

2 In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die: and their departure is taken for misery,

3 And their going from us to be utter destruction: but they are in peace.

4 For though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality.

5 And having been a little chastised, they shall be greatly rewarded: for God proved them, and found them worthy for himself.

6 As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, and received them as a burnt offering.

7 And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble.

8 They shall judge the nations, and have dominion over the people, and their Lord shall reign for ever.

9 They that put their trust in him shall understand the truth: and such as be faithful in love shall abide with him: for grace and mercy is to his saints, and he hath care for his elect.

10 But the ungodly shall be punished according to their own imaginations, which have neglected the righteous, and forsaken the Lord.

11 For whoso despiseth wisdom and nurture, he is miserable, and their hope is vain, their labours unfruitful, and their works unprofitable;

12 Their wives are foolish, and their children wicked:

13 Their offspring is cursed. Wherefore blessed is the barren that is undefiled, which hath not known the sinful bed: she shall have fruit in the visitation of souls.

14 And blessed is the eunuch, which with his hands hath wrought no iniquity, nor imagined wicked things against God: for unto him shall be given the special gift of faith, and an inheritance in the temple of the Lord more acceptable to his mind.

15 For glorious is the fruit of good labours: and the root of wisdom shall never fall away.

16 As for the children of adulterers, they shall not come to their perfection, and the seed of an unrighteous bed shall be rooted out.

17 For though they live long, yet shall they be nothing regarded: and their last age shall be without honour.

18 Or, if they die quickly, they have no hope, neither comfort in the day of trial.

19 For horrible is the end of the unrighteous generation."

Brethren, I believe this is the time for we Christians to start making research on some certain things to really know where we are heading to

Thank you and God bless you.
That's the exact proof that it's not part of the bible. God said that His words cannot pass away. Stop looking for useless and expired something.

2 Kings 2:23-24

Elisha Is Jeered
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.

Did the prophet sinhuh
This is over flogged. The point though is that Jesus should be the author and finisher of your faith. Of all the 1001 things Elisha did, you are yet to reproduce or copy one, so i wonder if you want to copy this one or what. Follow Jesus, you will not miss it that way.

Horus:
If your jesus died on the cross for the world to be saved, why is there still sin today? Was not the personified Son of God enough to cleanse the whole world of sin?
He died primarily to cleanse sins, to be an atonement, a kind of soap for sins. To wash away sins as it were. Washing or use of soap does not compulsorily mean that there will be no more dirt.

Why did he have to send his beloved son to die for the sins of the world?. Couldn't he just come himself, or wave his hand and make it all well.
Because He volunteered to go/come remember? You probably do not understand or realise the seriousness of sin, that is why you think it can go by waving hands. Justice demands that sin be punished, the Saviour simply came to take the place of the sinner. Animal sacrifices were not sufficient.

He said his spirit was willing but his flesh was weak, and what did God do? His only begotten son, according to your belief, he let him die by Cruci-Fction. So that's how God showed his love?.
He said the truth. Even today, our human flesh is often weak to do the demands of God, but we do not walk after the flesh but after the Spirit. It's like saying that i feel sleepy at work, but i discipline myself as it were. If Jesus did not die, there would be no hope. Thank You Jesus for your great Love.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. And we are supposed to teach our children this and perpetuate the greatest "story" (lie) ever told? NOT!
That's correct. Only an ignorant man still doubts the crucifixion of Jesus, scholars have long seen this. Read up.

The Bible says nothing about it and it's best to be silent where the Bible is. However, it's most likely that he was dead by then. Jesus committed His mother to John to take care of, that's one reason i suppose so. SUPPOSE is bold, underlined and emphatic.

jiggaz:
2 Corinthians 10:5
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Have you ever felt condemned because of the bad thoughts you have had? You could be in the middle of a prayer meeting when suddenly a dirty thought enters your mind. Actually, it is the devil who puts such thoughts in your mind. Then, he steps back, looks at you and knocks you on your head, saying, “How can you call yourself a Christian and still think such thoughts?”

I used to be in bondage over the bad thoughts I had because I felt that I had to confess every one of them and seek God’s forgiveness. But that is not what God’s Word exhorts us to do. You see, God wants us to bring “every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”. Now, whose obedience are we to focus on? Christ’s obedience and not our own obedience!

But what is “the obedience of Christ”? It is His obedience at the cross, where “by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous”. (Romans 5:19) Jesus shed His blood for us at the cross. This means that when our thoughts condemn us, we are to focus our thoughts on Jesus’ obedience at the cross.

My friend, the devil can only make inroads into our minds when he gets us to focus on our obedience instead of
Christ’s obedience. His strategy is to point us to our obedience or the lack of it to determine our standing before God. But just as our position as sinners is not based on what we do, but what the first Adam did, in the same way, we are forever righteous today not because of what we do, but because of what Christ, the last Adam, did on the cross.

So the next time your thoughts seem to condemn you, say, “I am righteous whether I have good or bad thoughts. My righteousness has nothing to do with my obedience. Jesus’ obedience at the cross made me righteous.” Then, go ahead and pray, knowing that you have access to God and His favor, and that He hears the prayer of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29)

Thought For The Day

The devil’s strategy is to point us to our obedience or the lack of it to determine our standing before God.
