Soul has many meanings depending on context. But the man is made up of spirit, soul and body. These are like man's own trinity as it were. Like is usually said, man is essentially a spirit, that spirit has a soul, and it lives in a body. Your body is what you can see. Your soul is basically your mind.

Why did Jesus have to go back to the Father anyway? If he was physically resurrected, he could've just continued his ministry on earth. The whole world would have been converted within a few years. To me, the reason is simple: being dead, he could not continue his ministry.

He's not from here that's why. You forget to realise that He is God, not human. He became us for a while, for a purpose. And the purpose is fulfilled. He said it Himself, "It is finished'.

People in advanced countries have a righteous foundation and a virtually righteous system. A system that hates evil, that neither condone corruption nor rewards laziness. A place where wisdom is magnified and encouraged. A society not engulfed in greed, avarice, bribery and frustration of justice. Those righteous deeds bring progress. Those things are rare over here in naija for instance. We have a lot of religion here but little righteousness.

You're so wrong, people who didn't steal arms deal money are walking free. It is mainly those linked to the arms deal probe that have been arrested. Femi Aribisala, Okupe, Abati, Dokubo are all staunch critics of the government, same with Lere Olayinka, Deji Adeyanju and many people.

I have heard many cases of God's word preachers who have been killed, slaughtered and brutally mutilated while preaching or on other duties in respect to biblical God's commandment. Many were burnt alive while withing the church premises praying and praising God, many captured and were easily slaughtered, many were captured within their own house, raped and eventually killed and many more cases like that.

Seriously, all these occurrences left me with one critical question that has been dominating my mind for years, that why would God keep silent while such horrific murder is being unleashed on his consistent servant ? Why can't God, weather spiritually or physically, prevent such tragedy, to at least encourage other worshipers and consolidate the believe that God is truly mighty as it is being claimed. Preventing such tragedy, to me, has the efficacy of preventing many people from waking up one day and start thinking at all weather God exist or not.
Should we say our so called popular pastors, knows that there is no divine assistance they can enjoy while facing assassinating temptation and that is why most of them move all around with sophisticated security outfit...

Hehehehe, where are non-religious societies? You probably want to refer to developed countries. Developed countries are founded on principles of righteousness and true holiness. Righteousness exalts a nation, nobody promised that religion will exalt anybody. Nigeria for instance is not a righteous nation but many religious people. Religion takes no one nowhere. The righteous principles of love, honesty, hardwork, transparency, charity/hospitality, generosity, planning, virtue etc will always usher in prosperity irrespective of who practices them. Pleasing God is not just in singing and dancing or clapping, or even praying. When one eschews evil and loves righteousness, there will be no chaos. People living in the principles enshrined in the Bible have lesser problems. That is a different matter from ultimate salvation BTW. You know how one is saved(going to heaven in eternity) by now i'm sure.

You seem to be intent in me condemning somebody shaaa. It's not my job to. Even if i did, i do not have the final say. Jesus does. He did not send us to condemn anyone. What i can correctly do is point out that something is wrong or that someone is not in the right way/path. It is not in my job description to handpick those that make heaven. Whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life, that one is sure.

There are corrupt guys all over Nigeria. It would be akin to shooting himself in the foot if Buhari turns on the people around him. The whole Nigeria is corrupt and it is almost a way of life here. The road side police man, the people at the civil service, the lecturers, the students, everywhere corruption. Buhari initially even said that he would not touch anything done before his tenure, it was like giving everyone a clean slate. It is the arms deal probe that has been generating the much fuss about fighting corruption. Majority that has been touched are people linked with arms deal. Buhari is not God that is to judge all the deeds of men. If they begin to open all Nigerians file, we would all likely be in court or prison.

The most of the current investigations stem from the report on the ARMS DEAL. Most of them have been TRACED to the arms deal. There are so many corrupt people walking freely. In fact, all of Nigeria is fantastically corrupt, it is abnormal not be corrupt from what i have experienced in Nigeria. There is a lot of corruption with impunity at every level in Nigeria. It will be very diversionary for the government to start tackling every person, especially people now doing a good job for them.

I have a bro who recently got married to his fiancée..

we were happy as a family until my bro's wife started interfering in between my bro and I..
it all started when I had an urgent need in school, I approached my bro with the most humble scenery one can ever imagine, his wife just cut me short, and said they was no money, I was shocked as my bro sided with her and said they was no money.
I took it in good faith and went away.
later that day ,when they were back from work,I overhead my bro talking to someone in his bedroom..
I went closer and behold my bro was talking to his wife sis asking her if she had seen the alert of the money he sent to her..immediately I heard that,I just sat on the floor and sobbed loudly..

I wonder why my bro will be treating me and my junior bro like this ,we are orphans (lost dad and mum the same day in a car accident)my bro is in jss3 in a public school(my bro's wife changed him with the pretext that they couldn't afford the private school fee).me,I'm in my final year in the university, just remaining my project and my final year school fees..
I am really depressed as my mates have already gone to nysc..

Nobody should live in fear of demons or spirits. Anyone living in such fear needs help and enlightenment no doubt. However, we both know the reality of the existence of spirits no matter the vague explanations you give them. i have seen well set humans, first timers, visitors, old timers manifest devil possession. As for the ant issue, its ultimately subjective to who is doing the valuing. An ant does not value a human's life, just as most humans don't value ants' lives, and lions don't value the lives of deers and zebras. I think its quite natural for an organism to value its own kin and personal objectives more than anything else.

Meaning HardMirror is not natural or normal i guess. He considers human life and ant life to be of the same relevance.

However us humans, with our enhanced ability to imagine and empathize with the suffering of other members of our species outside of our kin, & even members of other species, might see all life as equally valuable if we choose. It depends on where our individual and collective consciousnesses happen to be.

If we choose, it is fine by you. If God chooses, na wahala, you see everything wrong with it.
