Hypocrite, does sin irk you? How concerned are you about the fornication, adultery, immortality and lasciviousness that goes on around you daily? Does it irk you this much or you're already used to it or even a partaker. Does the pervading corruption irk you or are you an active sponsor? Does any of the numerous sins mentioned in the Bible and perpetuated right in front of you, media and live irk you? I am lost as to why an issue on which the scripture is conspicuously silent about its wrong should irk you or any sane believer.

The Holy Spirit is not your conscience and should not be mistaken for it. Conscience vary, some are more pricked than others. The Holy Spirit teaches you the Word, He gives you light, understanding and enabling as you study the Word. He writes it on the table of your heart, instead it remaining on paper. He sanctifies you by the Word. The Word of God becomes to you the perfect law of liberty and the law of the Spirit of life. The OT books are not taken away, it is the VEIL that is taken away.

It's rather unfortunate, how some fellows have bombarded this thread to cheapen grace to mean freedom from tithes. Everything they think is about tithe or no tithe. Tithe has become the benchmark, the yardstick, the landmark to settle issues. People are discussing grace and all you can think of is tithe, what a pity. Grace is divine help, to help us live a godly life in our world. God's grace is infinite in the sense that it continually able to give us victory in every circumstance and time. it is grace that saves us, and keeps us from falling.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Grace is to help in time of need. Many people use grace after the time of need. After falling into sin. Grace is to also help us overcome temptation, so that we do not fall. Grace is what the law could not do. It came with Jesus. The law could only show us what we are, wretched sinners whose righteousness were as filthy rags. But the law could not help us overcome. Infact, its purpose was to show us from Adam that we are guilty.
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Until we realise our guilt and repent, believing in faith, we are still UNDER the law. Under the schoolmaster, being taught basic "You have sinned". But grace came to help us overcome sin.

The plan that we should live holily and righteously ALL the days of our lives was now possible. Grace has now come. Anyone UNDER grace is no more under the law. He has been promoted. It's like leaving primary school for secondary school or to higher institution. You are no more under primary school teachers and teaching. You now have your school leaving certificate. This does not translate into enmity with the primary school system or teachers. Of course, you still remember what you were taught there, as they are fundamentals to the new advanced school. In this higher school, perhaps, no flogging, no sandals or white socks, no complete crayons, or bringing cane and tissue, no assembly etc. This higher school has some tougher things though more freedom. If you like, don't come to lectres sef as an unserious student. This is similar to the old covenant and new covenant, and re=ightly what Paul described as being under schoolmasters in Galatians. Though there are many changes as it were, yet 3 plus 3 is still 6, 2 times 2 is still 4. The issue now is that you are done with reading times table. You now get to CALCULATE. ax+by+c =0 is what you are making mincemeat of. You too, you are collecting extra sheet. you are doing projects and making research, building electronic boards and writing thesis. And its all by grace, as you really can't cope by your power. In the primary school, if you don't wear socks, na koboko. but now, you have advanced and inculcated that discipline and neatness. This is education. But throwing it all away is no education. This is how grace is to the christian life. It is now UNDER grace, being not without law, as the apostle put it, but under the law to Christ. Your pry school teachers are now your friends and even colleagues sef as it were, not your enemies or useless.
