RomanceRe: I Cheated On My Girlfriend: Now She Doesn't Respect Me by Imani(f): 10:30pm On Jun 07, 2007
wales7479:
Huh huh!!! Let me tell you my story. My girlfriend did same hing to me. I had always suspected her having this affair with her Ex and lying to me that its just normal to keep the friendship. I travelled to UK sometimes in April on a training trip for 2wks and on coming back I saw my girlfriend the night I came back and she was so happy and after all that she confessed to me that she slept with her Ex about a week ago and begged cried for forgiveness and that she won't do such a thing. I asked her how long has she been sleeping with him and she said about 4times in January and this last time. I was furious and very unhappy. I know that it will be very difficult to trust her and I make it known to her that I don't trust her and now I don't care if she's doing stuffs like that again. Although I really love and would want to be with her forever but its kind of difficult after all that happened. I later decided to give her a chance as I know that we are human and tend to make mistakes and I felt its better to forgive and see how it turns out to be.
Nairalanders, I feel good telling you my mind and my story. What are the lessons to be learnt and advises from my storyhuh

lipsrsealed huh smiley
Are you sure you were also completely faithful to your girlfriend all through this time? even during your trips abroad?

debosky:
the full interview will be on soccernet sports center today, I'm going to watch myself!!

all these clubs interested sef!, they should bring like 30million then Henry can go. if not, keep dreaming!!

@ AK even if Arsenal is rebuilding, we are not shipping out 7-8 players and getting a whole bunch of new ones, the main thing I meant is that we are in the CL and would give him a better chance to show off his skills
I am beginning to think that if Henry wants to go, he should go. No one player makes a team. There was Anelka, Viera, Campbel, Pires, Edu, Cole etc all came , played and left when they wanted. The club still lives on.

No one person is indespensible. Remember Michael Owen. The year he left to Real Madrid to win "big things", Liverpool went on to win the Champions league and have been in the final twice.

Can we just applaud these singers who showcased their talents to the public and entertained us.

They all had their strengths and weaknesses.

Debating over other people's future about what they will or will not become is futile.

I wonder how many coaches we have had in the past 5 years.

We probably change coaches faster than most other countries.

No continuity, no stability and no future ambition. [s]No wonder some players don't take the national team seriously[/s].

FoodRe: Plantain by Imani(f): 9:01pm On Jun 06, 2007
Plaintain can also boiled with the skin as well. This is usually eaten with fried eggs or a nice sauce.

If you boyfriend cooks nigerian dishes, [s]which may be unlikely as most of our men are lazy[/s], it can also be used to make porridge.

Rather than cut the plaintain round as is mostly done, i also "dice" it by cutting it into cubes. Just makes eating it more fun.
FoodRe: Which Is Your Preference, Barbequed Beef Or Suya? by Imani(f): 8:53pm On Jun 06, 2007
Ndipe:
Which do you prefer, Nigerian Suya or American barbequed meat? I would pick suya probably anytime over barbeque, because it is more flavorful. The pepper and the spices, added to the slicked chunks of meat makes it more appetizing than barbeque. How I wish Nigerian dishes were popular in the USA.
I learn new english words on Nairaland everyday cheesy

You should have no problems as long as everything is in place.

There should be no problems with you staying with a relative. School accomodation is not that cheap either.
TravelRe: Cheap Flights To Lagos: by Imani(f): 8:33pm On Jun 06, 2007
STA is not really cheap. I was given a quote for £590 a few days ago on BA.

You can try travel agents they may get cheaper deals. But make sure they are recommended ones.

Virgin Nigeria did a deal for a few days for £300 plus taxes. I just about missed that.

Whatever you do, make sure you book as soon as possible. Prices skyrocket from the 1st of July. Also avoid weekend trips if possible as there are extra charges.
