While there is no truth whatsoever, to the extreme negatives posted by some weird fellow, I have never seen anywhere where a company promotes a product or service by bringing out any scratches of the product.

I have watched for five years on CNN, the "Malaysia, Truly Asia" campaign that paints the country as paradise, yet if you drive a few miles out of Kaula Lumpur, you will see some poverty not too far from that of Africa.
So how come no regulatory body has complained. It is marketing.

On the new post similar to this, I regret that anyone might want to spin off something similar. I fault you guys for giving it undue publicity.If you feel like the poster is insincere, ignore it , and it would fizzle out in minutes.

If the person abroad is doing ok,, has a home, job etc then i am sure they won't mind to help. Nigerians are quite helpful to relatives. But what if they people abroad are not doing so well and just managing to send stuff home? Won't it be cruel to make them work only to be buying the flashiest phone etc?, I believe in cutting your cloth according to the size of the material at hand.


I just dont understand this issue of 'grabbing from sister/brother abroad' attitude a lot of people have. Must we always live off other people?

You need to be sure you want to get a working holiday maker visa as you are only allowed to work for a year out of the two years you will be given if successful. But if holiday is part of your plans, that's fine. you can check out this website

Depending on how skilled you are, you can also look into HSMP (highly skilled migrant programme) which allows you to work for anybody or for yourself.

First, the programme is intended for genuine applicants.However, there is hardly anything like a genuine applicant in Nigeria,hence the "Vanish"clause.
The Estonian Visa issued is for six months starting July, so before it expires the borders will be completely open.
In all immigration laws, there are loopholes that can be used to your advantage.And that is what we are using for our clients on this program.
The fact that you can marry an American for the sole purpose of getting a Green card is a loophole in the immigration system and the INS knows about it.
When Pregnant women were rushing to Ireland to give birth, they were taking advantage of the fact that a child born in Ireland automatically entitles the mother to a permanent residence.
That is a loophole in the immigration system.
So if we have found a loophole in the E.U immigration policy, and choose to use it to the benefit of our clients, Bravo.

On your statement about english speaking countries, be informed that there are only two English speaking countries in Europe(U.k & Ireland), so if you insinuate that those are the only countries ideal for Nigerians, then take a tour around Europe and see for yourself whether or not Nigerians have made success elsewhere.

I'm not against anyone's business, but i hate deceit. Let your clients know what and how it's like in their destination countries so that they'd know what to expect instead of giving them fake hopes and encouraging them to take desperate measures at the risk of their lives, freedom or deportation.

  Do not take a risk to travel to a country where you can NEVER, and i mean NEVER find a job how much more to talk about the wages: People here do not understand English, just Russian and the Eesti Languages (except some very few young ones who recently began to show interest in English Language).

According to the information papabrowne posted, it is just a summer programme with a university. Most summer programmes are for learning languages or certain courses.

In terms of safety, if they live on campus, it may be safer than at any random location. If people are going for study and tourism, that is fair enough but there won't be any opportunity to work.

It would have been nice and that would convince people that you are human, make mistakes and not afraid to admit them rather going defensive and praising yourself or attacking other posters. Like Vicjustice said above, while Estonia joined the EU in 2004, it is yet to be a participating member of the Shenghen aggreement but not before December 31st 2007 at the earliest, and this date is subject to change. Please read the links

Please people do not be too desperate to get out of Nigeria to find yourselves in other legal issues.

Language is also an issue but you should be ok if u can pick up languages fast enough. The english speaking parts of the EU like the UK and Ireland, unfortunately are not part of this aggreement.

Once again, schenghen visa is only valid for 90 days and does not allow anyone to work.

I dont know much about the financial situation of Estonia but i believe vicjustice, as someone on ground has been able to shed some light. Please do not be fooled by nice pictures. Even in Nigeria, they are lots of nice places and yet much poverty around. Please be wise.

I am quite surprised that you posted links of 2005 when we are in 2007 knowing how border control issues change. For a travel agent, i would have thought you would be familiar with recent changes in the law of countries you specialise in. This is quite unprofessional. The  dates for this programme you are packaging July 23- Aug 11th, 2007 when unsuspecting nigerians will be stuck in Estonia, having wasted time and money, knowing fully well, they can't travel elsewhere except Latvia and Lithuania. I don't know when you went back to Nigeria, but believe me immigration has become a top national security issue in most european countries. If people want to go as part of a holiday, then that's fine, but please dont build thier hopes of a good economy and technology up only for them to end up living worse than they were in Nigeria.

I have used a travel agent before, during the first of my many trips to the US, it was expensive, but since it was not too long after the terrorist attacks, it made sense then. That was why i encourage people to use travel agents if they know what they are talking about.

For those willing to make use of the opportunity of travel agents, it may be a faster means of getting a visa for a fee, but reduces stress.


Western europe is becoming more hostile to immigrant population, at least in the UK which i know of. I cant really speak authoritatively about eastern and western parts of europe.


Goodluck to all, please just make sure you regularise your stay quickly, because with most holiday visas you can't work.
