Essentially, the DISCOS are not making enough money from end users to pay for excess power

1.Cost of power is too low due to tarrifs being kept below the cost of production(and the subsidy paid cannot cover the losses...even with subsidies, DISCOS still need an extra trillion naira)

2.30% of subscribers do not even pay for the power they use...government, rich and poor.

At the end, DISCOS have to reject power, or go into more debt.

Nigeria has to pay for power at the market price for all this to end. You want power, then pay the money for it.

Rather it is more of been paid via the fruad called estimated billing. If you can make money from doing nothing without been sanctioned or queried then why will they border to supply power. Secondly, who were these people & what experience have they for the job. It's just one of those political largesse after all. Give it to a competent hand with genuine political backing and see things change. And of course, if they couldn't cope why haven't they given it up.

My advise for you is to concentrate your job search more in the international space. You might be lucky to get a visa sponsored job.

I pity those ignorant, naive men who are fighting for Equality for women. Those idiots don't realize that they are being cheated,the woman you are fighting for,is trying to overthrow your power. Forgiveness isn't that easy. I have watched a live show with similar issue. The man served a jail sentence. Jonathan was a clear example, those in his govt were with him during the day & with another at night. The game is to maintain personal insurance plan. I don't care who becomes president anyway because him alone can't make the desired change that will significantly affect the people positively. He will be compared to work with the same useless structure that have kept the country backward, this is because those that be will never easily allow a good structure until the people massively demand that by continuous peaceful agitation. That way, those that aren't fit won't even border to contest because they won't be able to cope with the demand the system will put on them. Imagine people even talking about Tinubu where Osibanjo is in terms of mental & physical capacity.

Seriously, so you fell for it. How did the DPO get appointed and by who? Or you don't know the office of the DPO, Area Commanders, CP and IG are appointee administrative positions. Not as easy as you see it. He may have been in a post where he won't know that others have fled or perhaps initially sent on an errand.
