Because African leaders are using poverty as a political tool to weaken the people. And so doing, only the few keep enjoying power & wealth without any fear of confrontation from the already weakened & starved people. And if you think to dare standup against them, they will use the money they have to mobilise those they made poor against you. I.e. Endsars. Currently, just #50k can mobilise stadium full of people who will be willing to take any order.

Sadly, they are targeting #1,000 to $1. So that more Nigerians would be in extreme poverty. The master plan is to wipe out the middle class. So it's either you're living or you're just existing.

How can they fight back when they are obviously powerful & trained to kill unarmed citizens for #50. And stray bullet killing. No police in the world can combat crime without intelligent policing, which is largely successful due to community policing method. So how can they collaboration with the host community when police have turned them into specimen for extrajudicial killing, harassment, extortion, etc. Lastly, how will they even be sensitive to crime prevention, combatting when they are constantly on remittance target. How were they even recruited into the force?! What training received? What gadgets are available outside expired weapons they carry? What is the renumeration package for them? What are the strict supervision techniques against possible abuse of uniform? The police is just a reflection of the bad governance system. Don't expect anything to change. It's obvious you guys forgot quickly that NDA was attacked and a Major was adducted. And other cases of high profile adduction & killing including army generals.

It's of course an elephant in the room. Truth be told, it's now a format by politicians to deceive the people into power. And when they get there, the greed would quickly make them adapt and start singing a new song. Nigerians need technocrats not this current crops of criminals called politicians.

Your choice, you only have one vote to that effect. All politicians are the same be it Tinubu, Atiku, etc. PDP=APC pro max. Irrespective of who becomes the next president it won't change anything. The power tussle is only about who gets the lion share. Just grind as an individual or at most family to survive without hoping on the country because Nigeria is irredeemable. And if your hustle isn't paying off, then move as far as possible where your talent & skill can be meaningful.

Every single day, they keep preaching unity and one-Nigeria but their actions are doing the complete opposite. Nigeria has gone past that stage, now that the blindfold has come off... It might take a little time but the division must happen. If they like, they can preach every hour. E don spoil be say e don spoil.

Nigeria has always been highly divided, and can never be united not with the countless ethnic groups, tribes, ideologies, etc. The north won't survive if the country split, they have been used to feeding fat without doing anything. Hence the craze for power. They would have long pulled out if the resources favoured them. This is why different laws abound even in the same assumed country. It's either the country split or they adopt 100% restructuring, under a regional system along the current geopolitical zones. If internal marginalization fight exist within the same states how much more at the FG level.

Try to counsel your dad and even your siblings on how to create wealth for themselves.

It shall not be well with them and their circle for all the untold hardship poor Nigerians go through daily to survive especially in Buhari's Nigeria. People can hardly eat and many are taking extremely desperate measures to survive. God help us.

It's so sad that those vultures decided to weaponized poverty against the people because of greed. But most unfortunately, the system won't get better irrespective of who becomes the next president. In fact, the country has failed and can never be fixed. Just do anything "legally" to survive as an individual or family without looking up to the country. And if the location is moderating your skill or talent move to where it will be meaningful irrespective of the continent.

You obviously don't know that Ogogoro "local gin" was once outlawed in Nigeria for fear of abuse and all the useless reasons he cited. How many do take it today, even though it is safer than those reformed gin with sugar, colourant, etc. Try to always reason beyond what government, her agencies and politicians say. First, know that they don't care about Nigerians, all that matter is their interest. Ask yourself how it's easily gotten by smokers even at any location despite the kangaroo ban? The same agencies, government, politicians are the one making money from it as the major marchants. How can the same persons legalise it and go out of business. Note that I have never smoked. It's just a matter of rational thinking. Medically Cannabis is medicinal and Well safer than cigarette when taken un-smoked. God isn't devilish to make it available naturally. The pros at weigh the cons. It could generate employment when farmed in large scale and shipped out in exchange for dollars.

During the endsars saga, wasn't it the youth that was used against it. Isn't it the youth that were the SARS operatives. Poverty in Nigeria is extremely political. This is a tool used to control the youth. The old men have looted so much, and they have equally made the system very unbearable for the youth to strive. Thereby reducing their value, hence just #100k can mobilize a stadium full of youth ready to take any order. Quality education is deliberately killed to reduce the numbers of enlightened persons, etc. Factually speaking there is no hope for the country let alone the youth.
