@Op I understand your concerns. Don't mind these ones misinterpreting it to mean being an asshole. I suffered inferiority as a little kid and started to fight it as a teen. It was difficult but I pulled through. People will take advantage of you if you are nice and gentle in this country. You need a touch of assertiveness and strong will to survive. Ask people who grew up in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onitsha. If you lose guard them go chop you maga You need to know when to stand up for your right. It was some gentle nice dude that committed suicide because of a lady - who was even cheating on him. Can you imagine? Life is hard, so you gotta be tough to survive. Most kids who grew up without a father figure suffer this. Now you are here. Train him to be the man you want him to be who knows his right. And you shouldn't wait till when he grows older, start NOW. PS: I don't mean you should punish him, but guide and direct him like a father. |
ELKHALIFAISIS:How many percent of Nigerians earn that amount monthly? We are talking about the poverty capital of the world here. I know people who do several millions monthly. I'm not doing millions yet but am putting in some systems towards that. Regardless, that would never make me say 200k a month is small money. The average lecturer earns between 150-180k. Professors earn between 350-500k. |
ELKHALIFAISIS:Lol Dubai man. No thanks. Employ all your family members first. Someone asked an important question to him, you left it all to focus on self-promotion. |
ELKHALIFAISIS:Are you in Dubai? What is purchasing power of same amount in Dubai? Online millionaires yet broke in real life |
Listen to him and take whatever he says seriously. He's a silent genius. |
I admire smart people a lot and you seem like one. I have gone down that exact route you want to go and I have a lot of experience. I also own Copywriting Agency. Send me a message and if you meet my expectations, I may decide to mentor you for free. |
You spent 7 years to get into Unilag and study Business Administration? You made a very poor decision bro. I still regret the two years I stayed at home sef. Because last last na the same Nigeria Labour market all of us still meet. Not like the Business Administration is some specialized course. Anyways, let me not spoil your jolly, congratulations |
Double wahala for dead body |
Dear OP, Listen to me; there are forces that control the affairs of men in this world. Don't doubt this. The world is more spiritual than physical. Whatever you see manifest in the physical had already been orchestrated in the spiritual realm. This knowledge I am sharing with you is not about 'science', or claiming to be well read. Trust me, I am a very enlightened person academically and otherwise yet I don't stop in my quest for knowledge. I have sat with aged people and listen to them. Most people you see walking around are aligned with one of these powers. Woe unto you if you live 'casually' with a lukewarm attitude towards things. Them go get you down one time. You can't be in the middle. You must be either HOT or COLD. Even the Bible said it. So you should either align yourself STRONGLY with God, or the forces of the dark world. You only know yourself, you don't know Dangote, Elumelu or others you mentioned. The world is more sophisticated than most of you think. I learned a lot of things when my Dad died. If you want, listen. But don't make the mistake of thinking things just happen. There are forces controlling this world. Choose one of these forces and hold unto it. #Obrigado |
Ishilove:It's not, trust me hehe. You have probably not come across them, but they abound. I schooled in the East, UNN to be precise. I met them at their best there. Always coming top in both debates and academics. I still have many of them as friends scattered across the Nigerian corporate sector. You need to meet just ONE Ishi ![]() |
Ishilove:Lol the thick accent is true for those born and raised there. And yes, many of them are alpha. They all have an entrepreneurial spirit; whether they are into the corporate world. Because salary money is not used for "doinz" which we all love ![]() Most of these generalizations are from people who have only met with the core business guys. A refined, well educated Anambra man is galore to behold ![]() |
In two weeks of my Life, I lost my Dad, had a terrible accident (while on a job), and lost the job itself. I almost committed suicide. My Dad's death still pains me till date but I thank God for his grace |
Love Yourz by J.cole |
LikeAking:People struggle to go to ivy-league universities like Oxford is not just for the degree, but the network and connections. Have you noticed many successful people worldwide either finished or dropped out from Oxford? Think. |
chumada:I am always marveled by this. How can a full-grown man full of Life take begging as a profession all in the name of thuggery? It's worst here in Lagos |
Queenlovely:You made zero sense |
I said it a few weeks ago when I saw his plans on space exploration, Artificial Intelligence, and his Tesla brand. He would go on to become the first Trillionaire in Dollars. Watch out! |
I received same outrageous alerts from Zenith bank lately |
wearsandtrends1:Anybody would wake up and start talking trash. The way they vilify those working 9-5 you would think entrepreneurship is the easy way to wealth. You talking how many startups have you built? I understand you want to promote your business but stop making people feel less of themselves. Everyone can't be an entrepreneur and that's a fact. Choose your part and follow it. I have worked in both sectors and I know what both entails. What everyone needs is to have multiple sources of income as depending on one can be risky. Most of these guys masquerading as entrepreneurs do so simply because they didn't or haven't gotten a legit opportunity to work in a nice establishment with good pay and pecks. Workin 9-5 is very good so far as you make savings and plan for investments. |
To ascribe intelligence to certain professions shows how unexposed and myopic the Op is. |
Joanney:My brother, nothing person no go see for this Lagos |
I saw someone hawking cooked indomie yesterday. Watin person no go see for 9ija |
Aproko is talented. I followed the show. But that 5 million is honestly too small for what these guys passed through. The tension and all. Aproko is bigger than the show. MOP should have won this if not for him. Coxson is also great. Netete and Perez are all worthy mentions. Anyone who has the means can reach out to these guys and show them some love. Comedy no easy. They were asked to pick something and make a joke out of it at the spot, many of them still churned out brilliant comedy. |
Irrespective of what anyone thinks; This man deserves the award. He has a calm way of handling tough situations. He can perform under pressure which is the hallmark of great leadership. While Lagos was burning down during ENDSARS protest, he was mocked, insulted, his mum's house was burnt down, yet he kept pleading for calm. He took responsibility and admitted they had failed. But that he has one duty; to rebuild Lagos. What about how he handled the Virus? Even if you say he's an actor, then he must be a great actor! Congratulations Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu! |
doggedfighter:You guys always try to sound smart. Now explain in detail what you mean by Human Capital Development. Education, Infrastructure and empowerments are the bedrock of HCD. Which I think the government is not doing bad in those areas. These things take time. For a state which was below the belts, I think Ebonyi is rising. PS: I'm not from Ebonyi state. |
This man deserves to be paraded naked and beaten without mercy. |
I was indifferent about the alleged kidnap and still indifferent about the script of their release. I blame anybody who has the luxury of time to take whatever game these guys are playing seriously. Kidnap yourselves Kill yourselves Play politics with everything It's your business. |
Atiku is truly shameless. And for those saying he would be better than Buhari, such mindset is what got us here in the first place. "No matter what, Buhari would be better than incompetent Jonathan". Now una don come again. Someone that spent 8 years as vice president. Someone who is clearly coming out to fill his pockets and recoup what he has spent in the previous elections. Atiku and his contemporaries like Tinubu, Obj, Danjuma, etc deserve to be dragged around the markets naked and beaten mercilessly. |
lefulefu:Exactly. And these things aren't new. The moment a sensible person sees it, he already knows a scammer is behind the account. But well, some gullible people still fall for such cheap scam. |
Both you and your girlfriend are stupid. You are even threatening the bank you will drag them on NL. Na them send you work? Which kind of gullibility is this? If she can be easily scammed like this, then I fear for you. If people start using just 1% of their brain, the society will be rid of stupidity. In this era when scams are everywhere. That how one useless scammer hacked my sisters' Facebook account and was promoting scam with it. I went underground and got his phone number. Put a call to him and within minutes, he sent the password to her and was pleading bitterly that I shouldn't take any actions. If you don't use your head in this country, people are waiting to use it for you. |
Nice list OP. Donald Trump should be king of Alphas. His book; 'Think big and kick ass' exposes it all. He acts it. Pete Edochie, Reno, Buhari, and the rest are all notable alpha males here. And yes, Ned Nwoko is alpha. I watched his interview and I saw the confidence oozing out of him. |
