Imagine you saying PDP will win Rivers State for presidential Election and I was Cold at the Magnitude of your Stack Ignorance. You know little or Nothing about Nigeria in Entirety. Tinubu will Fail Woefully in the North and he will be the Last Grandfather to Dare Muslim -Muslim Ticket in Presidential Election in Nigeria. 2023 presidential Election is different from your Known Conventional Voting Pattern and you must know that. Can you imagine the stupidity? Telling us on ground that Atiku will win Rivers state. I didn't bother to even go further after seeing that. Let him take a trip down here to PH and say it to our face. Tinubu will win SW but Kwnakwaso and Atiku will loose to Tinubu in NW. Let him keep deceiving himself in the name of analysis. 2023 election is unpredictable. No person can claim to know exactly how it will turn out because there are too many gladiators in the field. This is not 2015 or 2019 elections where it was a two-horse race. My assumption is that there would be a run off which Obi will be among the last men standing. |

Celebrities › Re: Peter Okoye: No One Is Allowed To Visit My House Or Office Without A PVC by IncredibleWrite: 1:06am On Jun 07, 2022 |
immortalcrown: All those shouting "Get your PVCs" are delusional. The number (population) of voters is never the problem. The choice voters make is the problem.
If only ten persons vote and the majority (at least six) of the ten persons vote wisely, good leaders will emerge.
If 100 billion persons vote and majority of them vote foolishly, bad leaders will emerge.
If number of voters is the problem, there will be no problem in the northern region because that region usually give a very high number of votes.
I do not discourage people from getting PVCs. But I put it to you that number of voters is not among the major problems. Rigging is a bigger problem than low number of voters. The moment INEC was challenged to provide 2019 election data in court, the case died off. This shows Atiku got more legitimate votes than Bubu. Would you blame the 2019 result on those who did not vote? Also, what about the case of Imo state where someone who came 3rd or 4th in an election later became the governor? Is low number of voters responsible for that?
Number of voters only favours tribalism. And tribalism is not good in politics. A good leader is good to all tribes. A bad leader is bad to even his own tribe. Each tribe is clamoring for PVCs just to possible make its son the president. Igbo people are shouting PVCs to ensure Obi wins. Yoruba people are shouting the same thing to ensure either Tinubu or Osinbajo wins. Northerners are doing their own thing to make a northerner the next president. This is the problem.
If voters vote wisely, a good candidate will win and treat everybody well even if the majority of the voters are not from his own tribe. If voters vote foolishly, a bad candidate will win and treat everybody bad even if majority of the voters are from his own tribe. Bubu is a proof.
I repeat, I do not discourage people from getting PVCs. I myself have my own PVC. But let us understand PVC is not the major problem. I can only imagine how much time you wasted trying this and beating about the bush. Majority of youths don't have PVC, they are mostly his target audience. If the enlightened youths can get their PVC and troop out in numbers like during the Endsars, this elections will be revolutionary. You are the one making it tribal about Yorubas, Igbos and all. Many Nigerians have spoken with one voice and it is Peter Obi we want. Hunger knows no tribe and religion. Peter Obi keeps harping that, “there’s nothing to share again,” and that, “the national cake has finished,” but do you really understand what he’s saying? He is saying that someday, there won’t be money for NYSC allowance, salaries and pensions. What they are sharing now are loans meant for federal projects, but someday, it will stop coming and you will be left with nothing. We need to support Peter Obi in stopping this sharing formula and starting a production formula. We currently use 91% of our revenue to service debts, and it is projected to reach 100% by 2026 - that is if we continue this way. By then, the country will shut down and become a failed state. Many people don't understand these realities. They still think we are all about tribe and religion. For me personally, no matter how bad Nigerian economy gets, I will always find a way to survive cos I earn in dollars. I can't say same for majority of people. |

You will feel happy seeing a petty thieves got lynched while the big thieves roll and cruise in big cars.
A shop can be replaced but a life won't be. Brother, I feel you. I've seen worse in the hands of humans. But that will NEVER make me justify stealing under any guise. That politicians are looting doesn't make it right to steal from your fellow Nigerian who's trying to survive. What is bad, is bad. The economy is rough for everyone and not for the thief alone. If you run a business you should understand how things have degenerated. Going by your thoughts, we all are justified to steal... |
Crime › Re: I Watched A Thief Vandalised A Kiosk And I Couldn't Do Anything! by IncredibleWrite: 11:38am On May 21, 2022 |
Favaman: I was having a discussion with my hostel mate at the top roof of the building, when we noticed a dude hopping to a hideout.
Initially, we thought he was being chased by some bad bois, then I noticed this dude kept running out from a particular point to the hideout anytime a vehicle or any human figure appears.
The kiosk is along the road, my guy was insisting that he was being chased, giving me a lot of points to ascertain his claim. I was like no if a person is being chased, there is no way the person will keep going to a particular place and later come out and go to the same place he ran from, obviously this dude is a thief!! Trying to steal. The time was between 12:05-12:58.
Few minutes later, this thief came out with some stuff from the kiosk's direction to the same hideout. He dropped it and move back to the kiosk direction. We couldn't see how he was taking this things out because, our view from the roof top to the kiosk is obstructed by some elements of a building and we were abit far from the point where he was doing this.
We were watching until something happened, this dude came back to the hideout, eating some stuff and he was having something with him like a bread or something. He sat down and he was eating from his loot.
As he was doing so, it was as if his luck was about to run out, a patrol of two vigilantees, came around and was flashing their torches around the place.
There were two things that would've happened.
1. If they(vigilantes) enter the street where the hideout of the dude is, they would've caught him. 2. If he(thief) had seen them, he would've ran and be shot dead.
On the other side, me and my guy was watching and we were contemplating if we should raise an alarm, we reasoned it. If we do now, the dude will try to run, thereby he will be shot, these vigilantees are absolutely merciless.
Beside dude was like he had not eating for days, as he was stealing, he was eating. I had a pity on him. I am very sure he is a student.
These vigilantees instincts was actually telling them something but they were too lazy or should I say they don't really care to go and check out the street opposite them, they were just flashing the torchlights all over the place but was reluctant to check out the place. They left and kept moving forward to the next junction. Leaving the thief to complete his mission.
After few minutes on the dinner, he got up and pack the other loots in a bag and took off. All this happened within 1hr(12:05-58)
I was like "did I just do this"? How did I allow a thief to go scot free.?
Sorry to disappoint you guys, I can't stand someone being killed because I raised and alarm over stealing.. Many things might have been for the thief though, maybe he has not eaten for days, I don't know but I pray one day he will be caught.. If he still repeat it again in my presence, I won't hesitate to call the vigilantes on him.
I feel sorry for the shop owner.. Tomorrow I believe someone is going to wail and curse the thief..
I am looking out to watch what gonna happen tomorrow morning. You are very stupid for trying to rationalize stealing under any guise. What about the kiosk owner? You didn't think about that person? Who chose not to steal, but to hustle legit in this hard business clime. Do you know if the money used in running the business is a loan? What about the children or beneficiaries of the said person? I pray you or anyone close to you become victims someday and I hope you react same way too. You Nigerians are the problem of this country, not the leaders. Because you all even elect them for a start. Spits |
