i may be wrong but I heard that employees give out jobs to people with a grade in the exam that's why I want to pay the $5 and write the exam before bidding. How about that?
You are not wrong. Some employers place a threshold for only qualified persons. However, I got my first couple of jobs without any of that. It took me about 2 weeks to get 1000 credits.

The bottom line is that the decision is yours to make.

Ladywriter, I sent a mail to your virtualassist email address. I was asked to pay $5 for the test, can I pay with my UBA VISA Africard or should I wait for the payoneer before I can take the test?

I've scanned and sent my details to payoneer, what next?
Yes you can pay with your UBA visa card. But in my case, I only verified my account. Once you get up to 1000 credits, you can buy an exam. That was what I did. Bid, do all the stuffs that will increase your XP and credits, then buy the exam.

Chidinho10:
alright, how does the test look like and what kind of questions should I expect?

Does it take long before getting the payoneer card? Any hidden charges? Pls forgive my curiosity, its common with newbiees, God bless you richly
The questions are very simple. Basic correction of sentences. When to use "is", isn't it, et al. As addition, I recommend you use a P.O.Box if you have any.

Good luck.

Please u ppl come to my rescue, how person go they work, anoda man go sitdon on top of the money.

I did a work for someone we agreed the amount and I started work, milestone set. After doin the work I even finished bfore the time. I gave her the work only for the person to be saying I did dis one, I did that one. How can I collect my money Õoooº°˚ ˚°º before I swear for person.
In my honest opinion, I think you should let it go. If you worked on the issues your employer made and you are satisfied with your performance, I believe you can open a dispute.
But if the money involved here is not much, let it slip.

manage to read past the first line?
It is constructed like a legal text. CONJUGAL? Come on! An author ought to make their blurb interesting not bore the reader with legal text.
Oga Sarahn, you have been talking about Legal legal, what does that mean?
Plus how do you receive your earnings?

I went to the kdp community and asked them about preorders vs free promotion. I got trolled. Not directly but subtly. The way my question was answered was like they assumed I was a naive newbie indie idiot trying to sell a crappy and short book.

It would have been better if they had said so bluntly.
Seriously. I hate subtle insults.
So in essence, there's no problem with the platform but rather the users. And what you are saying is that we should brace ourselves for some negative feedback?

I wished I had read this before going to the KDP community.
Good Lord! They were very cruel. i was pretty shaken.
A word of advice to new authors: never go to kdp community unless you have nerves of steel. Mine was made of glass. it is not pretty.
Sarahn, explain.
CultureAnyone With Info About Odidi People? by INDESTRUCTABLEX(op): 12:27pm On Oct 17, 2014
Hello. A random thought came into my mind about Odidi people. If I remember clearly, one of Timaya's first songs talks about killing of Odidi people in 1999, by Obasanjo I presume (them don kill them mama).

I checked google but I couldn't find any convincing article. Can someone tell me what really happened?

Thanks.

CareerWhat SUCCESS Really Means by INDESTRUCTABLEX(op): 1:28pm On Oct 01, 2014
Following a post on front page with a number of successful people who didn't complete their tertiary education, I will like to clear the airways about success, it's meaning, and prick your intelligence about what you think it is.

Success simply means achieving a planned intention.

From this definition it is obvious that if I plan to crash Nairaland by the end of this month and I am able to achieve it, I have been successful. I am not a religious person but I think some where in Joshua, the Bible talks about good success. If there is good success, there is also bad success.

Also, success is in levels. If everybody in a class if 10 graduates at the same time, they are all successful from the crowd's point of view. Yet amongst them there will be a best graduating student.

From the previous post, it is easy to deduce that people quantify success based on material and physical manifestations. Success is beyond that.

Success in its entirety covers every aspect of your life or have you not heard about successful singers committing suicide?

Look beyond physical manifestations. Set goals for yourself (physical, mental, spiritual, whatever), pursue them, do not quit, and you can beat your chest and call yourself a success.

One last thing, dreams are free so dream big.

Always open to debate.

Donfamous: One of the oldest wasys of grinding pepper,
Its so cool and adds some flavour to ur stew, but it seems people are lazy to try this step now, and most of our new generation wife don't even know anything about this, or consider it rather stressful, and primitive.
So have u ever tried it, and when last was it?
Op, don't come here and talk rubbish o. This method is primitive and stressful.
Is it the stone that adds flavor or what? If you like use sugar cook, person when no sabi cook food no go sweet.
Embrace technology jare.
In btw, I used it when I was younger.
BusinessRe: WEMA BANK And Its Useless Services... by INDESTRUCTABLEX(m): 2:55pm On Sep 26, 2014
countsparrow: Unknowing to me, the head of operations had gotten hold of the information a customer of the bank had been treated unfairly over the last couple of weeks, how he got hold of that info only God knows, the only people I told about this was my family members and members on here grin (nairalanders my second family) so when he got d report about an anonymous customer who had complained somewhere, he had to go through all the transactions carried out at the bank over the past few weeks, which to my understanding is quite TEDIOUS... Mr Femi, I commend you for that, after that, he narrowed the search down to me... UNBELIEVABLE... grin

So this morning, as I bounced to the bank, I noticed the staff of the bank treated me differently, nmmm!!! I felt like a senator with lots of cash in my account... I didn't know my the head of operations has started something on how to rectify the issue, and discussions on how to get me over was ongoing...
Now tell me that isn't good stuff.
I'll bank with Wema any day, anytime.

Bottom line is that sometimes these people get tired or become frustrated. You will agree that it is difficult to separate professionalism from heightened stress levels and trust me, the banking sector is full of that.

countsparrow: What can u say about a whole bank not having a functioning printer, had to travel to Lag to get my SOA printed... Do I have to call purpleconnect for that toohuh That's pathetic, a bank should never feel like a prison...
Well I have absolutely nothing to say about that. You should also know the statement of account is not normal A4. Hence a different kind of printer. Either ways, they are at fault.

But I still choose them until they terribly mess up.

Sorry brother but I share an entirely different view. Although they have had their downtimes, but on a scale of 1-10, I'll give them 7.

Reasons: I opened my Wema account alongside Access. I have never used Access after reading about them giving their employees packets of sugar as gifts.
I also opened my Wema account with my school id several years ago. No utility bill or whatsoever. I use this same account to buy stuffs online and one countless occasions receive wire transfer.

On one occasion my money got stuck online. I turned to UBA which I have been using for almost 5 years and I had money there too. Unfortunately, the money also got stuck.

All I needed to do was called Wema purple connect and in 2days my money was refunded, as opposed to UBA that took 2weeks.

I think you should always call purple connect if you have any issues. I hardly go to the banking hall.

You are mad angry am sure you don't know your family house.

Current day Nigeria?? Wat is Nigeria? Did my ancestors choose to be Nigerians? To hell with Nigeria.

Because I take pride in my history it means my actions divide Nigeria? Was Nigeria ever united? No
If it was ever united, the pride of itsekiri won't bother you, instead you would be proud too

Rubbish! angry

macof: Complete rubbish. Itsekiri are the singular most civilized tribe in Niger-delta.
They have a rich history if u want to know go and research
Itsekiri were explorers who settled in their current location, the entire Benin naval force was made up of Itsekiri men

the Portuguese even knew Bini through Itsekiri
No beef bro, but this is total backwardness. Wetin concern me concern the battles and civilization of old? It is in no way helping the current day Nigeria. Such talks divide us. E no concern me wetin our grand papa don achieve as long as it won't help us move forward.
