sweettweet: She should not be having severe pain in the spine area and pains in her joints. seek medical help immediately. the swellings should not be happening also for now. She should increase her water intake, at least 2.5l daily, try keeping her feet up, and dont sit for a long time.she should move around. The tiredness comes with pregnant. She should rest more often. meanwhile, let her register for antenatal.she should make sure her b.p and early morning urine should be checked during each visit. also when she's in her third trimester, around 28-30 weeks, she is going to be tested for gestational diabetes. Thanks she no longer complains of the back pain. She has an AP on thursday as she will start it on that day.But she only feels pains in form of contractions on her tummy. That has been on since friday. She is feeling better though. @mogbomoya and agiboma thanks alot. She has started the pillow therapy and a sister in her church has asked her to start using pregnancy care.I do not how good that is but she claims it helps. @dudugirl ;congrats, I am happy for you.It goes on to prove that God is everfaithful.God will heal you compltely and replenish you IJN.Comgrats |

champs: How is everybody doing today? I have not been able to post here for some days because i was a little bit ill.
Quick update: After my failed IUI last cycle,my doctor advised me to take a break this cycle from all medication to allow my body recover from those excessive hormone last cycle. However,i did not have the patience to sit out this cycle without doing anyhting to help my BFP along and as such i had to seek traditional fertility specialist. I was introduced to an Ijaw woman who rubbed my tommy and gave me some herbs to increase my chance of fertiltiy and also performed what she called drilling of the uterus in order to be receptive to any fertilized egg.
Things we go through when one is ttcing, na wao. I will always keep you ladies updated. Sending loads of baby dust to your way. My dear pls give urself a break.Be calm and joyful and see what will happen.I will read thru ur posts to see why u chose IUI.Desperation is good but there is a limit.Baby dust to u all. |

Good day all. its quite some time I have been on Naira land and I see so much info in the air already. Good job. Well my wife is 19 weeks pregnant. Though I have not taken her for Ante-Natal reason being that she is a teacher and I will like her to go on break which incidentally is this weekend before she starts. But here a few of her complains. 1. Severe pain on spine area. 2. Swellings of feet and hands. 3. Pains in almost all her joints which includes her fingers. 4. Tiredness. She makes me feel as after this baby I should not dare go for another but that is a big joke. I will be glad if I get some info on how I can arrest all these ailments before she starts her classes so as to make her enjoy carrying my baby.
I need tips to help her. |

agiboma: I am very sorry for you loss, I lost a baby at 5 months also and i NEVER got over it ohh no i did not and i still think about the baby and see his sweet face. My pain was releived when i conceived my son who is now 19 months. So i know your pain my sister. Dont worry you will get your bfp. But your post has me asking questions are you sure its IC and not PPROM. I dont want to get to technical on this thread i think its time to make a new thread for pregnant member's and those having a high risk pregnancy. Its time we start talking about it cause in my expereince like getting pregnant, when you become pregnant, you can either have it easy or the oppsite. Yes I quite agree, let there be a new thread for pregnant members so that they can get good information and share experiences on how to protect themselves, their babies and avoid losses.Nice idea. |

omonikiba: I have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months, still hoping. i have taken clomid though for just one month and my doctor gave me doxin tabs. another thing is, my hubby most times doesnt come exempt we use the back side method, does this matters? I have not realy done any serious medical check up, bit i know i am ok. what do i do? please with all sincerity suggest sex pattern/styles that can quicky enhance pregnancy or any other good suggestions. thanks Firstly what was your reason for taking clomid,is it clomid that will make you conceive? Secondly,Provided your hubby comes it does not which style. The most important thing is for him to make deposit. Thirdly,I will strongly advice you go for a check up to know the position of your fertility. Fourthly, Not being able to conceive in 6months does not mean you will not conceive. Do the right things and you will be ok. Lastly, the style does not really matter. What you can also do is to make sure that sperm does not seep out after intercourse, a pillow to lift your backside will do.Time intercourse properly and you should be fine. |

vickipad: @infogenius, tks for the reply, what of if she saw her monthly flow a week plus after the intimacy, can she still be positive to a pregnancy test? No she can't.But if she is found positive then I would not term that flow as menstrual flow. |

vickipad: Jst wondering if it's possible for a lady who was Intimate 2 weeks to her period to be positive to a pregnancy test carried out few days after the conclusion of her monthly flow? Very possible. If the lady's cycle is 28 days. After her last period it takes 10-14 days for egg formation and then she experiences ovulation. From your post she must have made love around her ovulation period which makes her positive. The good news is that she will in 35 weeks time be a mother. innovestor: Thank so much infogenius for your concern and help. She finally told me yesterday that she has "found" her period. I was glad. I guess was some days of delay due to the drug. Thanks again for you advice. Good I am sure she is relieved now and of course you.ciao |

innovestor: A girlfriend did not see her period as at when due after love making. Suspicion led to pregnancy test. The test indicated positive. Misoprotol was taken to remove the pregnancy a it was about 3weeks old. The drug worked a expected and further pregnancy test after 10 days showed negative. This happened in November. Within two week, an unprotected sex was engaged upon. Due to need to prevent another pregnancy, postinor2 was taken immediately. Slight bleeding was experienced after which everything was fine. This happened in December. However, she could not see her period for January. Understandably, it could be the effect of the postinor taken as this was acknowledge in the leaflet attached to the drug. More worrisome is the fact that till now, she has not been able to see her period and pregnancy test indicated negative. what can she do? Since she has not been confirmed pregnant I will advice she goes for a test again next week. Then I will tell u what to do.But then there is a possibility that she will still see her period but the odds is that the medications she has taken will affect her cycle. @yogun I just read your earlier post again. You are pregnant period. With lower back pain and those funny symptoms.Start preparing for a baby. |

I,ve never been sure about the efficacy of postinor.Do you normally have irregular menses. If no I guess you must be pregnant. You can wait if you want to keep the baby.Or , let me know. |

This is intersting.Pls I beg to differ, what is the soy Isoflavin supposed to do an alternative to clomid? Its okay but I believe it will consumed sparingly as excessive consumption of soy products has been linked to thyroid problems.
Unless when absolutely necessary all medications should be stopped when ttc since they can affect every organ of the body they emit. |

i will advise anyone to be ready to work hard on the net and u must make a decent income Simple truth. |

I had thought about this a few days ago. Infact it is getting more embarrassing now with the way our ladies dress.I only feel it runs in the blood and the mind is programmed to do just that even if the chick no fine."Just turn ur neck and see" as almost every man does it.
Many have caused accidents on our roads while staring through the mirror to look at a dry bum that they will never touch even with their wife sitting beside them. And some have had their homes broken cause of this nasty habit.
It calls for real deliverance as God is delivering me from that curse. |
