RomanceRe: Pretty Girls-disadvantages Of Being A Pretty Girl by InkedNerd(f): 5:14am On Jan 09, 2012
@OP: Can you please take a second from attention seeking and stop trivializing the act of räpe as a plight of being "pretty"? In case you are unaware, ANY human being is susceptible to the act of räpe. No one person in this world is immune to the act so please get over yourself.

Thanks a lot my dear,I let fear overcome me for a while but now I've taken control of the situation,I prayed like I never have before.

Comforting\encouraging words from wonderful friends like yourself have done a lot and I trust God to fulfill his promises in our lives, its well.

@Topic,wow I had a very wonderful day, woke up early and prepared for church, the service was really reviving as I was richly blessed,I got back home and took a long nap,I was awoken by my dad who asked me to go get something from the mall for him, when I came back I saw two missed calls and not long after my phone rang again,I answered and it was just the call I needed then,it was my very good friend whom I wasn't expecting a call from on the line,we talked for a long time which made me really happy(I still am)cos I thought I had lost this friend and after talking with her I realized it was gonna take much more than I thought for us to quit being buddies, though my tomato got burnt a little and the stew I was cooking ended up tasting like what-i-cant-define, I'm still more than glad she called, after that I watched some football and resumed my night shift here on NL.

@Inkie,I didn't forget but I can't help it so,thanks again for yesterday you are wonderful.
Nne, I'll always be here for you wink

really a shocking trend and pictures. but why are there many starved children and fairly ok adults, could it be that adults feeding themselves and ignoring the helpless kids?
Well, I would think that because they're kids and still have growing bodies that they're not in a position for their bodies to really fair as well as the adults in such a situation. What was really sad is that some of the soldiers in the pictures looked looked no older than my younger brother.
It is best you settle it quickly if you value the guy especially if you were the one that wronged him. Even if you are not the wrong try settle with him, or else you might lose him.

@inkie, most guys don't like this type of topic, they prefer the oko ati obo topics. But the poster spoke well is why some even responded sef.
Oko ati obo? Ummm, translation please. I no sabi Yoruba o! I can only say basic things, I'm not a Yoruba linguistic expert o!
CrimeRe: Biafra: The Nigerian Civil War In Pictures (Warning Disturbing Images) by InkedNerd(f): 9:23pm On Jan 08, 2012
Looking at these images is so painful for me. I have a grandmother who still bare the emotional scars of the war. Just showing my grandmother these images was enough to make her cry and remember the hardship of that time. I've seen extremely graphic images of war throughout my life but to see my own people suffering in such a manner. . . It hits a lot closer to home. What pains me the most is that we still haven't learned from the mistakes of the past!!
FamilyRe: Are you feeling angry right now? Let-off steam here! by InkedNerd(f): 9:08pm On Jan 08, 2012
@OP: I wouldn't really say that I'm angry, just not in a good mood.
^^^why are you surprised the guys have answered?
I wasn't surprised that guys were replying. I was surprised that not a lot of them were replying. The OP, clearly stated that she needed a male perspective on this but the first few people to reply were the women [which isn't bad since she's said she's ok with us replying].
