goldbim:Short, simple but loaded....your comment is heavy, only the elders can relate to it...I do. |

RebekahAmor:Lol....oya now |
RebekahAmor:Hello pretty, can I send u a pm? |
OldEagle:Lool ..........if churches were to be football clubs....you know those ones you mentioned are like amateur clubs to the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich that we have up there. |
SirShymexx:Lool. .....when you still need prayers and healing you'll still go to either RCCG,MFM, Winners of Synagogue; these are Yoruba controlled places of worship. We have it all, that's the point. .....just kip hating |
ianSweet:I hear you and understand your view but I do not share your view.Stating that we should not expect Nigeria to do well because other Balck African nations aint doing well is a huge excuse. Don't get me wrong, I share the thoughts that something is fundamentally wrong with the Black race, irrespective of location. But the point is, we cant take that as a consolation for non-performance or failure of the African countries. The North Africans are not Black in anyway but yet they are not doing well also, maybe better than the rest in the committee of failures. But the fact still remains that they are belong to that bag of bandwagons. We as a people (NIgeria) need to sit and decipher what the problem is, design steps to surmount the problems and make headway. There is no excuse for failure. (Sorry I am replying this late, it is not in my character)... |
Mr. Oga, Yoruba adage says; ti oba ko iwaju sie ki ota, ti oba ko eyin sie ki ota , ti oba ku iwo nikan ki otun ero arare pa...... Many people will come here to tell you about their uncle's sister's younger aunty that got married with #2 as salary and that today they are living in Lekki. They'll tell you stories about couples who were jobless but got a mouth watering job immediately after wedding. But they won't tell you about the countless number of marriages that have broken because the man couldn't provide for his family. They won't tell you about men that have committed suicide due to the humiliation that followed their inability to provide for their wife. If your fiancy is so bothered about her age and threatens to leave you, I can deduce the following from her character; 1. If after marriage you don't get a job she'll also get tired of feeding you. 2. If after wedding, her marriage isn't the type she sees in nollywood movie due to ur inability to provide money she'll be tired. 3. If after wedding you are still on God will do it, the friends that are advising her to leave you today would still tell her to think about her life. I am not sayin love does not conquer all situation, I am not saying it is not possible for God to bless you beyond measure after wedding but the truth is .....ignoring reality of the moment is an invitation to regret and humiliation of the future..... I'll end this with the best quote I av seen ....."if you love something, set it free. If it's yours, it will come back. If it doesn't , it never was" |
Please don't tell anybody this.........you are mad!! |
ianSweet:Why do u really feel we are not taking any steps? OMG!!! are you asking me why I feel we are not taking steps? You make me feel like an alarmist. If that's your view, then there is no need to complain about the state of the economy, there is no need to complain that a huge percentage of Fund allocation to Budget financing is being diverted in to personal coffers since 1979. There is no point to complain again about the dilapidated state of our infrastructure. There is no need to complain about the myriad of problems that ordinary Nigerians face everyday. Afterall to you, the country is doing fine. I do not know who I am chatting with, I do not know maybe you are typing from the confines of your apartment in Banana island. But I do know that you are chatting with an average Nigerian who despite the fact that he pays Personal income tax on monthly basis yet still buys fuel on weekly basis to power his generator cos there is never light, pays for his own security because the safety of life and property isn't guaranteed, pays through periodic repairs of cars for the bad state of Nigerian roads....and on and on pays in multiple ways due to the ineptitude of some useless eediots called public office holders.......With due respect madam, we do not live in the same country....The Nigeria I live in and the states in it that I have seen isn't taking any meaningful step. |
ianSweet:I totally agree with you on the first part. But on the part relating to comparison of Nigerian states with other states, I do not agree with you. You know what my dear, we can keep consoling ourselves with the excuse that USA is over 200 years old and Italy is as old as the planet earth. Even if we are not where they are, are we even taking steps to get there in anytime in future? Abeg enough of this excuses |
Ada9103:Lool.......you are funny bae, me I don't really fancy a babe responding to my message late. It sends the wrong signal and as a gentleman I take a walk. BTW: you have a beautiful picture there....... |
ianSweet:Lol...@ Mr. Southerner........The large underdevelopment of the Northern region is the fault of their clueless Leaders catalyzed by the prevalent illiteracy and lack of exposure of the people. It is not the fault of the South. Every state in Nigeria receives allocation and the north cumulatively takes the larger portion of the fund. So if they are still backward because they allowed some people to siphon the public money meant for the good of all, you cant say we should allow them to again allocate another extra fund that would most likely end in the usual place. We need to understand that the South is not even developed, don't tell me to look at it relatively. This is 2016, No state in Nigeria has the requisite amenities of a developed State, not even Lagos. So we should not let some people deceive us or deceive ourselves that the South is developed. You can pay a visit to Jo'burg, Kuala Lumpor, Stocholm, Istanbul, Doha and see the definition of a developed state. You'll see I did not even mention the 1st world countries. We need to be wise and proactive. |
tartar9:You are funny my friend....Nigeria does not depend on crude oil for 100pct of its revenue.....there are other means such as VAT e.t.c....that my friend isn't under the ground in Niger Delta. The bulk of it comes from the South, specifically South West. ....Pls note my friend, Ondo State is a Niger Delta state because of its Oil producing nature.....don't get over with urself....South West has it all....from Crude Oil to Industrialization. Hope you have learned now. |
I pray that guy does not regret his actions....small time some macho looking guy will start playing with his wife and he wont be able to do anything about. She might even mock him about it. He should go and as Oscar Pistorious, it is worse than death. |
EHI9ICE:Wow!!! Thanks for the enlightenment. Respect boss!!! |
GreatSE:Bros stop being petty. Stop crying like a bereaved person. In 2011, the SWesterners went all out to support GEJ. The only state where Ribadu had a meaningful vote was Osun state. The fact that SWesterners decided to go the other way round in 2015 does not make them ENEMIES of SS or SE. If you would be realistic to yourself; It was a SWesterner in person Obasanjo that purposely positioned GEJ for presidency. It was also the SWesteners that came all out through Femi Falana's Campaign for Democracy to support GEJ when he was being marginalized by Yaradua's kitchen cabinet. But the problem with some people is, they think they have right to your loyalty. No one has right to anyones loyalty, it is earned. SEasterners supported GEJ because they benefited from his Governemnt the most. You need to understand this is politics, you support the side that favours you. Yorubas felt betrayed by GEJ based on his choice of appointment and re-aligned with the North to have the Vice-presidency since they have produced the President in recent time. But the truth is there is no permanent friend or enemy in politics, there is only PERMANENT INTEREST. The issue is the South Southerners have moved on but the Igbos have refused to move on, crying more than the bereaved. The fact is the only way to have a short at the Presidency is through ALIGNMENT. IGBOs can only produce the president if they bury the hatchet and move on. But that seems to be very difficult to do. If all Southernes regions decide to be at loggerheads, it will only be to the advantage of the North. So it will be a collective loss. |
Ada9103:My Lady I'm a full blown man....where i come from the man pay the bills, do the cooking and washing while the wife paint her nails. A baby girl with my eyes?...that will be a dream come true. Babe don't dull me....time waits for no one. |
Ada9103:Lol see this damsel....play with me kwa. ...please me I don't joke with things of the heart o. BTW : should I send you a pm? |
dEastActivist:My Brother why are you people always playing the victim? No one is a baby that needs to be baby-sitred or over-hyped in order to do what must be done. You all need to get it, all regions and tribes are in a common square playing game. It is every man for himself. Northerners and Yorubas came together in 2015 cos they both had an similar interest, not cos they are or were at any point friends. That is how it works. I have said it on Twitter and elsewhere, an igbo president can only be achieved thru alignment of igbos with other regions. To think that other regions in Nigeria will wake up one day and say truly it is the turn of the igbos, my brother it will never happen. By igbos like other teibes will position theirself for it. No one dislikes the igbos. It is even more funny when igbos despite all the years of friendship and peaceful co-existence still see Yorubas as enemy. My Brother people only talk about how Awolowo gave all ibos with bank deposit before the war 1 naira but they don't talk about how all igbo properties in the SW were duly preserved for them. All the accounts of neighbours who took in their Igbo friends when they came back from the war. My brothers igbos are you not to be dwelling on past events, in life we all need to move on no matter what. Let us agree all the other tribes mistreated the igbos, yes, ain't the igbos gonna move on after 40yrs? I think the best way to even achieve Biafra is to even bury the hatchets and move on, align with others to get the presidency and then take a decision on Biafra. You can't cry of malignment when you win part of the deal. Please don't dwell on he Biafra part of you wanna reply me, let's talk about moving forward. Trust me Yorubas so vote en-masse for a capable igbo president anyday anytime. Remember aw Yorubas voted for GEJ, you remember he was deliberately positioned by OBJ a Yoruba man. But igbos need to show that they have left the past , they have to earn the trust they need. |
But benin people said their Oba no dey go anywhere after coronation. So why him con dey buy Car? Yeye people.....people can exaggerate. Who go siddon for one place in dis century. Abeegi enuf of typing. |
Ada9103:Omalincha...is it like that? You just fashy ur Hubby since morning. You dint even reply my chikes. Chaiii see me o |
Ada9103:Babe. .....is it like that? You just fashy ur |
Ada9103:See this omalincha....I've bn waiting to hear from her since morning and here she is frolicking around with some guys. Do you know I'm a jealous guy? Chaiii you couldn't even reply my chikes. |
[quote author=dEastActivist post=50450509]Bro, is not the southerners fault. We have different goals and objective. And if I may ask, what's the purpose of the unification? To fight the north? OK after fighting the north, what next? We fight ourselves right? Just like APC?? Sire, it won't work. If the unification is to fight the north. Let those who finds them offensive take the lead and fight them. Count the Igbos out cos we have better things to do whether as Nigerians or not.[/quote The unification isn't to fight the north Parley. It is to fight for the common good of the southerners, to ensure that in the project Nigeria we are not underserved. To ensure that we get what we suit deserve. I laugh at you saying I should count the igbos out. I do not wish to delve in to that, cos each time I hear that I just laugh at some pples naivety. For as long as Igbos are still part of Nigeria, they can't be toO busy to ensure that they at what that truly deserve whilst still in the country. Nobody is saying you shouldn't fight for Biafra, but no wise person puts all his eggs in one basket. Remember, you can't complain of hunger while you refuse to go to the kitchen. You join them in the sharing to ensure you get a fair share. Afterwards you can start talking about other issue. |
You see this enmity and rivalry between the southerners will continue to hunt us for a long time to come. Northerners are always united while southerners; Yorubas, Igbos and NDeltans never unite on anything. How could you open your eyes and agree that the bulk of money made from the south (VAT) should be used to specially develop north. Do not forget that cummulatively the north takes the larger portion of monthly Federal Allocation even though the money comes from the south. I think Yorubas and Igbos most especially need to sheath their swords and fight a common enemy that is benefiting from their stupidity for a long time. I mean aw could we allow the north to take 3pct of VAT but disagreed on Lagos taking 1pct. We southerners are just fools, we pride in our education, literacy and exposure yet we are alwats taken to the cleaners by the northerners when is time to make policy and strategies. We are just fools. |
ChrisKonor:Pls, do you know anywhere around Akoka, Yaba where I can get the products? |
contourum:God bless you sir....but no matter what you say they still won't learn. That was how one Guy and his younger brother for my street wasted their lives 2 yrs ago. After drinking at Yaba, they weren't satisfied he told his brother they should go to island. On their way back , due to overspending as usual their car summersaulted on TMB. He died instantly while the younger brother died 3 days later . The younger brother just finished at unilag then waiting to serve. That was how they ended their race and turned their mum to a mad woman. All in the name of flexing and feeling big. What ago but boy epp? |
