Adeolaeniola: Fight for the unity of Nigeria in nullifying the best free and fair elections we've ever experienced. The demon of Mko will keep on hurting you sir
/. Nothing is hurting him. MKO was no saint and his friends (IBB and co) knew it and decided to pay him back in his own coins. That's all. If OBJ wasn't picked from prison to become the President, we would believe that he is the best President never had. If Buhari failed in his fourth attempt at the Presidency, we would believe that the only one to root out corruption was denied the opportunity. In the end, Nigeria na just cruise. Believe your fantasy hero at your own peril. /
Winters23: The biggest cyber criminals are not Nigerians.
But the western media derives some kind of satisfaction by labeling Nigerians and other Africans as scammers.
Criminality is not tied to any nation, tribe or religion. It’s the universal language of all men of easy virtue.
No matter how long it takes all criminals will come to justice one way or the other.
/ Nobody said that Nigerians are the biggest criminals. Nigerian criminals are too noisy and quick to show themselves. If a Nigerian criminal has 1/100th of the money this couple stole, he will be on social media trying to tension others and be forming motivational speaker. But see as this couple jejely dey their own dey enjoy life before they were busted. Nigeria is a home to most of the stupid criminals out there. Their only saving grace is that the Law enforcement and prosecutors are as ignorant as the criminals. /
GAZZUZZ: I Filled up in BOVAS ojodu Berger Lagos, beside roadsafety office on 08/02/2022 @ 4pm. So far car is doing well, fuel dispensed into gallons look clear without any issues.
/ Some cars are specifically designed to use ethanol, premium fuel or both. They are designated as Flexfuel and usually have yellow fuel tank cover. Ethanol is about 33% cheaper per gallon. So I can see why an unscrupulous marketer would think it is ok to mix more ethanol to fuel to maximize profit. This Nigeria...one way or the other, our greed will affect all of us. /
Lasunray01: Good day nairalanders. My first time post in 5yrs.
Will try to summarize the issues and seek sincere advise please.
I’ve been married before but got divorced within a year due to genotype issues(it’s a long story). So I remarried 2yrs after and with a child now, and that’s where my issues started from.
I know I have some bad sides too which I’m trying to change, which is flirting with single ladies, and this has caused multiple fight with my wife.
Whenever we have this fights, not physical, just verbal, but in her anger she breaks virtually anything around, cups, laptop, speakers etc. she can be madly angry. I’ve warned, petted her severally to desist from this act especially infront of our kid...but she won’t. It’s getting worse by the day. Now she reports me with blackmail to her parents and friends making me feel I’m the worst husband in the universe, calling me unprintable names. Calling me weak cos I don’t beat.
Now the advice I seek, we are planning to relocate as a family abroad this year, but I’m really scared. I can actually go alone, but would prefer we all go together since I have the means. But I’m scared if I won’t regret my actions to take her along with this her character. What if I get jailed or lose custody of our child abroad, because she’s a master in blackmail. She can turn simple issue overboard.
Sorry for the long epistle. Just had to pour out my mind. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
Thank you
/ I think you are making a good decision. What better way to teach a philanderer a lesson than taking away everything he worked for and tying him down with child support and alimony. I feel like you are one of those that can only learn the hard way. Once she cleans you out, poverty will imbibe the wisdom you need in you. Keep flirting. /
2.Subsides is why the refineries are bad in the first place. We cut costs on things like maintaining the refineries to keep subsidy costs low, which is why they broke down in the first place.
3.Because of subsides, people don't want to invest in refineries unless you are Dangote who has the collateral to pay back loans taken for refinery purposes. Who wants to refine fuel above 200 naira and sell it at N40 as Buhari wants it, and then the subsidy pad does not cover the losses?
4.Anyway NNPC is repairing two refinereis.
5.If we want to refine fuel at home, then it has to be refined at a profit so that things like repairs, maintenance, staff salaries, staff welfare and upgrades can be paid for out of the profits made.
If we want to pay a subsidy, then we must tax each and every taxable adult in this country to afford it.
Niger has a working refinery. They sell fuel at N350 per liter. They don't have a subsidy. Thier refinery in the eleven years since it has existed has not broken down, and actively exports fuel to other countries because it is run profitably. We did not do that in Nigeria and we lost our 4 refinereis as a result. Venezuela has been selling fuel for less than the equivalent of N40, and their refining costs are much higher than us. And as a result their large 900000 barrel refinery can only refine 100000 barrels.
Yes, prices will be high. But that is the sad thing about business. Things cost money. You won't sell at a loss to help the poor, so why should we force it on the fuel indusitry? Especially since such a policy led to us having bad refinereis and refining abroad in the first place?
backbencher: You cannot refurbish refineries and then sell fuel from these refineries at a loss in the name of subsidy
Also, paying for subsides is difficult when the money comes from crude oil revenue, which is affected by price fluctuations
/ You are not making any sense. So it is more profitable to drill oil, ship it to Europe to refine and then import the refined product back into Nigeria + the effective subsidy? Do you even understand what subsidy is?
/ Shouldn't Asari be more concerned by the environmental degradation of his backyard by foreign oil companies in collaboration with their Fulani partners? I hope a collapse of IPOB will turn Niger-Delta to Dubai.
/ Because they refused to refurbish the refineries, low oil price in the global market, Nigerian budget implementation will suffer; high oil price in the global market, queue returns in the gas stations. Incompetence has reduced it to damned if you do, damned if you don't. In both scenarios, Nigerians suffer. /
07kjb: Shut up if it were in your state that the supreme Court pronounced such judgement what will you do Onye shi ya wuru ya, Ya wuru gi? iga eme nini
/ Hope in Imo State. Ikpeazu in Abia State. The old Imo is a clog in the wheel of progress. It would be nice to merge them into South-South to spare us the horror movie playing out in both states.
Hope need not worry. On the eve of election, he can use Cubana Chief priest to organize a party for all at All Seasons hotel. Most of them will go and dance away their votes--pleasure before business. That is one reelection assured.
Cantonese: Anyhow e do am Uzodimma should serve his one term and waka abeg.
And hopefully they are not trying to empower the youths on yahoo yahoo.
/ Hope will get a second term. You underestimate the stupidity of Imo people. If he could be foisted on them for 4 years, he can be shoved down their throat for 8 years. A little grease of the palm and dissenters will turn to sycophants.
/ See as Imo State just wasted N250million on a useless Valentine gifts. Who are the 2700 Imo youths that will benefit from this madness? If they use that money to provide free wifi in tertiary institutions in the state, wouldn't it be beneficial?
/ Buhari's successor has nothing to worry about. If and when the heat gets unbearable, he will have the luxury of flying out to rest. Buhari and his predecessors did it and heavens didn't fall. Nigeria has always been on autopilot. Final final, he will ask the citizens to pray.
Senomii: And what's wrong with a lady wrapping up her legs? Ain't that what u men are clamouring for? So ur saying a lady with nothing can't succeed if she doesn't put her body on the line
/ You can succeed.
Quality over quantity. A night out with Sanwo-Olu is worth more than thirty nights out with yahoo boys. That's the difference. You cannot do it alone. Some had the same opportunities she had, but they wasted their money on fashion and latest gadgets which depreciated over time. All I see in her is a lady who made good use of her opportunities and today she is an employer of labour.
First and completed Data Analytic Visualization Project... coming from zero to here just in two weeks...I would love to xplain everything in details but I think it not necessarily...this an analysis for U.S Passenger Dataset, I cant rate this so good...I want to xplore some more chart that can carry so much detail and prediction.
Though there is no prediction on this visual...but tell the story of the performance.
The dataset contains Date, Country and numbers of passengers.
With the Analysis, you can make prediction months and days U.S are likely to have more passengers traveling or migrating.
You can also tell the exponential growth, why 2020 has the lowest passengers
Though I have some Machine Learning project on Python, Excel and Statistics (I just choose to share this cus I joined a monthly competition on LinkedIn)
Let me stop here, I see how you all rate a new Barber, graphics designer. Come and do this for me...man want to feel encourage
The difference is that some asked for cash, phones, cars while smart ones used such money to build business empires. You can’t blame one without the others. As a beautiful lady in Nigeria, just wrap up your legs, stick to the Bible and let’s see how far you can get. It is a sad reality. /
/. Ignorance is a disease. Miracle is a random manifestation. Any pastor/G.O/prophet passing out fliers or advertising that a miracle is going to happen in a program/church/crusade is a scammer. But who do we blame? Anyone running to churches to seek for miracles deserve to be scammed. /
/ There are people who are professional students. They love to sit in class, learn and write exams. However, they find real life application very challenging. Something as little as being a bad interviewee (cannot market himself) could be his problem.
Nigerian man has been spotted using an expensive G-Wagon to display and sell plantain on the streets of Owerri, Imo State.
A video which was shared on on Facebook shows the moment an unidentified young man was seen marketing his plantain business using a G-Wagon. The young man could be seen ringing a bell as a business strategy to attract customers while the boot of his car was wide open with bunches of plantain displayed in it.
Many passersby went to patronize the trader while some who seems to be surprised and watched him display from a distance.
The young man didn’t relent on his business as he took some bunches of plantation and moved from one place to another in search of customers.
