lekkie073: many mumu men may make money miraculously.....who is this seun sef? d only seun i know is fela pikinBad belle! Seun is our oga at the top. With one click, your name go disappear for this forum. Carry time o! |
dboy365: na wa oh! this guy Toks again? You see proof yet you throw insults! Must everybody use your monitoring sites (myfxbook etc) before you would agree or confirm they are successful? You seem like a guy that must ve lost so much and must do everything to prove nobody manually trading can make it....anyway, continue with this your attitude and success in your EA development. The easiest way to blow a trading account is to auto-trade. Take it to the banks. No food for lazy person. You must put in the work. No shortcut to success, forex-trading included. You can run the best algorithm but you ain't going no where. I have been in this business long enough to see all manners of braggarts disappear. You can tell because it usually happens after excessive volatility and gyrations in prices. All of a sudden folks disappear from forum. I miss Alan Greenspan. Back then, we use to trade how big the portfolio he was taking to the Fed meeting was. Equity indices will go haywire and then risk assets would gyrate so vigorously that everyone who thought they had it figured out were left holding empty bags. Let me re-state my position coming from a veteran, you will keep making money in fx. Then from no where comes the freaking verbal or some kind of intervention. Booooom! Stops will fail to be triggered. Manually closing for where? And since most folks have MM brokers, the spread will be astronomically high to steal the little left in your account. Some people tend to stay away when there is many major economic release on the desk. But some interventions come out of the blue and that's the one that catches people unawares and take away all that fund they built over course of months. The best of the best get taken once in a while too. I mean guys that work for Goldman Sachs, Banks,Hedge funds, etc. Yep! Those guys from MIT, Havard, Oxford, Yales and other fancy colleges get nailed too. Yet, you want to believe folks here nibbling cents here and there with less than 10 years experience trading financial instruments. |
This is how you fight injustice. Not just talk talk, complain complain with no actions. If words are not matched with actions, extortion will continue unabated. |
On a brighter side, though... https://naijagal.com/wp-content/uploads/SeunOsewa.jpg Looking sharp
Oga Seun kilode!Eye pencil and lip gloss. I refuse to comment. |
naijababe: Bros, i am a technical trader, i trade what i see o.Ok. Just an opinion to help you maximize profit. I am sorry. Seems you took it the wrong way. |
naijababe: Bought gold again, holding my long on oil and sold EJ. Out of curiosity, is there a reason why you are entering positions at the end of New York session esp. Gold and Oil? Wouldn't it have been better to wait till around Europe opening so that the market will lead you? Sessions in Asia are seldom conformers to technical analysis. |
berem: Anambra Guber: Uba Unveils Himself Selfish? Read the bolded..no be me write am o! I can't wait for the moaning and complaints to start after his election. How gullible can people be? |
Amelian: How do u know she is lonely? Do u know or I knows if she even has someone she is dating? Amelia sorry o! A beg tell that Auntie say I go marry am if she go gree say everything na 50/50. I am serious o! Where she come from sef? Yellow sisi! Kai. See fine woman. She must be a good christian for this to work o. No be that kind auntie wey dey get babalawo for speed dial. |
In a world of 7.082 billion people, you can only name 10 billionaires that are school drop-outs. What are the odds? |
phoebewal: hobby is something you do as past time, so to start with, forex is not a hobby, but serious business. It is not 'child's play' neither should it be confused with gambling or 'get-rich-quick' scheme. the problem with us trading in Nigeria is that we are always in a hurry to hit it big. Like any other investment, fx needs time. that's why u look at your profit in terms of years, not days or weeks or even months.YOU ARE RIGHT. FOREX TRADING is not a hobby |
All well and good.. . .but we don't need screenshots. Attach your account to a tracking service so we can see past performance/growth.
Some people don't get it. You will make money in forex and you will lose money in forex. How your career in forex ends is what matters most---as a [b]millionaire or a brokenaire. Forex is good. I was in Nigeria (FCT) for 6 months in 2012. My only source of income was forex then. I usually hangout at the Piano Bar in Transcorp Hilton b/c of the steady power supply---I no wan hear NEPA story. I made enough money to be comfortable in Nigeria that long. Some days $200 or less. But by the end of the week, I would have close to $1000 which I would pull out of the account for sustenance. For all the naysayers, it is doable. But NEPA no dey try at all. If you are a trader in Nigeria, I hope you are able to trade with your mobile phone else yawaa go gas for your account when NEPA strikes. I started trading forex when most of you did not even know that it existed. Back then, there were only few charting platforms available accessible for $100 per month for few minutes of delayed feed. TO close or open positions those days, we had to call the broker on the phone with orders. So I have been around this game along time. But nowadays everything is faster and free. Keep working guys/girls. The sky is your limit. |
GUARANTEE: Anyone fretting about Seun's comment is currently losing money in the market. I know the nature of the beast which is why his comment was mere entertainment for me. I don't think anyone banking their pips will be as concerned with Seun's opinion as our people here have demonstrated. Finally, TO MAKE MONEY NO EASY! forex ko, rexfo ni! |
Amelian: Also, sweet lovely,How old are you? You better find one quick quick tie o! Your time don dey pass. This picture no do you justice at all. Na only those gojongo my eyes dey! As in 2 free pillows for winter. Money saving tinz. |
Stegomiah: How to Treat a lady6. God punish devil! So I be punching bag na! So violence against men is being encouraged. Ok o! 11. Yep! I am a pussy with half of the bill in my pocket. What happened to equality in gender? I guess women choose gender equality like a buffet line where you can pick and choose. Spare me all these BS. 16. You are talking to a person made of iron. She can slap and beat the men, but will not expect equal reaction back. I like it when all these people make noise about not hitting women. They say under no circumstances should you hit a woman. What a load of crap! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU HIT ANYBODY. Period. MALE or FEMALE. |
ayox2003: Vxtr, I have followed back and sent a request, now shoot.Good job! I like how you keep it simple. I still cannot figure out how to post charts here. Can you help? |
edujoy: This is the period you refer to http://charts.mql5.com/1/439/eurchf-h4-instaforex-group.png Hindsight is 20/20. You have 4H chart right? What of those day-traders trading off of 15mins, 1hr charts. They added to their Shorts because the trend had been down. As in, follow the trend gospel. I have never been a fan of Euro/CHF and that was the only reason I escaped that slaughter-fest. The move was unprecedented and if you think technical analysis was the golden goose, then you are not being honest. I have been trading forex for 10 years and doing very well. I am not a full-time trader because it is boring. Greed is when you have something and want more. Most fx trader don't have it. So, I think the problem is more of FANTASY than GREED. Traders fantasize how much money they could make--the yatch, Bentley, mansion. It is similar to those late night Real Estate informercial where the vendor is peddling Lamborghini, mansions, etc to entice investors. And this fx dreamer has only $2000 initial start up cost. In my years of trading, this is the only forum that I have seen people claim that forex trading is not a risky venture. What are you guys smoking? Even the people that made the rules and regulations in this game had to come out with a disclaimer about this business. Every financial instrument is a high risk investment. You can make a lot of money and lose a lot of money as well. But if I read this forum right, all the forex traders here think they are in Eldorado. My goal is not to dissuade you. The first solution to a problem is to identify that there is a problem. The essence of this discussion is to let the newbies know what they are getting into. It is not a Get-Rich-Quick scheme. Can you believe that some traders do not even know the difference between ECN and MM? Most traders here use MM because there is only minimal and affordable initial deposit as low as $250. Isn't that an easy money earned for the broker? Do you see where I am going with this? |
Come on guys! Who wan marry Seun? With the way he dey ban ban ban anything...How much ban can a wife take? You smile on sunday, you are banned! Maggi too much for soup, you are banned! NEPA carry light, iyawo you are banned! If una quarel and your kindred come settle matter, and you are the 1st to comment, Seun will ban the marriage. Nawa o! ***Seun no ban me o! |
This only applies to MM brokers. That's why it's best to trade with the ECN brokers.
Some people don't know the difference. ...Got to hit the sack. It is 12:20AM (midnight) here |
Virgin Finder: I ask, what does it take to be a broker?Being a broker involves a lot of capital (something in millions of dollars) plus all the paper works and regulations. And add marketing and advertising cost to the equation. You don't need to be a broker to make money in the forex business. You just have to level with your broker and think the way they do. You know what they say, it takes a criminal to catch a criminal. Eg. How to hustle brokers. Each currency pair has swap rates. That is you pay or earn a commission if you hold over night. If you have 1LOT Long E/U you pay the broker $0.5,if Short $0.0 G/$ Long $0.0, Short -$0.6 A/$ Long: You earn $0.30, if short you pay $1.30 Gold Long: You pay $8.00, if short you earn $0.25 ..etc. N.B: This cost is tripled on Wednesdays. So if you have 10Lots of Gold, it will cost you $80/day M,T,Thur, Fri to hold the position. On Wednesday alone, the cost will be $80 x 3 = $240 cost on your account. Armed with this information, you will know what currency pairs to hold overnight to be earning interests for a long run, if and only if your analysis is right. The brokers will hate you. To be an A-hole trader, look for buy opportunities in AUD/USD, AUD/CHF,AUD/JPY to earn commissions. On the converse, look for Sell opportunities in USD/ZAR (whooping $7.28 overnight you can earn),E/$ is $0.0. Avoid Sell G/$ if you intend to hold for a long time. |
FEW TIPS: 1. Know the important times of the day when the market moves most (Usually beginning of European and USA sessions) 2. Know the economic calendars for the day/week/month. You can get access to this information by going to www.babypips.com....Click on Tools and you will see the times for important economic releases and how important such information is for the market. The data release is ranked in severity from 1 to 3. 3. If you are trading JPY pairs, watch out for BOJ interventions that usually happens during Asia session and lasts for about an hour or two. 4. Go to dailyfx.com forum and read other traders' opinion about the market. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT trade any other person's opinion about the market. Some of them are convincing in their analysis. But the money is your money. Be very careful. Use it for educational purposes only. I will keep updating if necessary... |
My prediction is that retail forex trading will be dead in 10 years. It has already started in USA with all the CFTC and Dodd-Frank regulations and meddling in the market. When regulated economies close their doors to retail, the shysters come into play and scam people. Thereafter traders will run for the hills. It will be game over. So traders and traderettes(?) bank your profits and diversify. |
kcc515: moved on already. no time. whoever is still trying to discourage me is in my past! That's the spirit. Jesus was cajoled. Einstein was cajoled. So what makes you think you will not be cajoled in this endeavour to better yourself? If it ain't broken, don't fix it. I wish you all the best. Am in it full time. Let our earnings judge us. |
MANOSUB: I knw of a guy who kept changing apartment after collecting money from people, in the hope that he wont be caught incase of loss. He collected my money went to delta state, changed his line, i coundnt reach him for months until luck ran against him. These forex traders keep discovering a new stragegy, a strategy that never last. Before you knw it, they start running away from people. Just what i observe. If any forex trader is here and sincere enough he/she should tell us the truth if its worth going into.Honestly, it is worth going into. I am a living witness. But you cannot be a forex trader with anything less than $10k else the brokers will have you for lunch. Or you are a part-time trader. On the short run, folks make money and brag about their wins but never mention their losses. Hey, even a broken clock is right twice in a day. Most traders don't survive on the same capital on the long run. Some folks keep funding their account hoping to beat the market. It is a crazy world. They are called brokers for a reason--their job is to make you broke. For a starter, google "forex brokers reviews" and you will see a litany of complaints and frustrations from their customers from re-quotes, slippage, stop-hunting, etc. Woe be tide you if you trade with a broker in an unregulated environment/country |
author=rozayx5Of course, one can succeed as a full time trader as long as you have a lot of fund in your account and you have good Money Management skills. But in a business in which there is 90% failure rate, it is good that the inherent dangers therein are brought to the fore. Just saying. As I answered to someone earlier, why bother yourself with Seun's opinion about fx trading. The only person that you are answerable to is YOU. Not me, not Seun nor other naysayers. Keep your head up! |
rozayx5: Hello Seun, please you know nothing about REAL FOREX trading aprt from the gambling side you must have lost money to, with the respect i have for you, i am very disappointed in seeing you speaking on issues you know nothing aboutSeun is saying the truth and that's why it hurts. Below is the regulatory Board disclaimer that every fx broker are required to inform their customers. Some sleazy brokers only offer it in fineprints.. NFA and CTFC Required Disclaimers Trading in the Foreign Exchange market is a challenging opportunity where above average returns are available for educated and experienced investors who are willing to take above average risk. However, before deciding to participate in Foreign Exchange (FX) trading, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose. Forex, futures and options trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. You must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the Forex, futures and options markets. Don't trade with money you can't afford to lose. @fxIsReal: How did you import the chart to post? |
Virgin Finder: Thank you!You don't get it. Do you? Brokers need the funds from little guys to keep the oil machine running. How do they do it? They promise heaven and earth with fine-print disclaimers in case something goes wrong. There is money in forex. Trust me. But the euphoria is usually short-lived until the gamblers give up which they rarely do. |
Moderator: Seun should be banned till further notice for raining on fx traders' parade. |
ARES: Ever done abuja - lokoja at night? Then u will know that these truck drivers are straight from hell...The worst drive ever on Nigeria road no matter the time of the day |

Bring it on! What are the questions? Let's tackle it with voracious appetite! |
JAkpayen: I'll tell you that it is only greed that make people lose their fund in forex.I beg to disagree. If you remember vividly, Switzerland decided at one point to peg CHF to Euro @ 1.2000. What happened? Peoples accounts got killed in less than 1 minute. 1000 pips movement. Due to the high volatility, a lot of stop loss got over-run and didn't get triggered. Even Kweku Adeboli (the Ghanian trader) was exposed too. Bank of Japan(BOJ) is notorious for interventions in the market. If you noticed Euro/JPY moved from 98 to 126 without looking back from Nov 2012 to Feb 2013 b/c of BOJ's version of Quantitative Easing. Interventions are what is killing people's accounts because at that point, all technical analysis will be out of the window. More like an elephant in a glassware shop. People were adding to their positions and getting clobbered. It ain't easy bro! Else everyone will be rich from this endeavour. People did everything right. Entered the market, placed Stop Loss orders and they never got triggered. Such slippage is very common and you can cry blue murder but ain't no broker that's gonna refund you. Some of them were victims too and they had to pay up. It is not only greed. There are other variables at play. One question sir: Have you ever tried to buy or close position and keep getting re-quotes while you watch in dismay as your margin is getting slaughtered? |
