Hey, I thought prostitution is illegal in the US( apart from Nevada)
As if Nigerians understand "illegal" when owo is involved.
Na runz thing is en vogue over there.
U know...as in A knows B that knows C that knows D.
..Then the hook up.

They don't need girlfriends in Houston..not when you have $50 big booty girls around.
I tire for that city.

So now even the Naija people there are messing around too? embarassed
A friend told me Houston is like Enugu. As in, many igbos/ Naijans there and their usual gra gra wey no get weight. Gossip, jealousy, comparison and other Naija misdemeanors.
And now Akwuna is added to the list embarassed

I shame embarassed
Houston is the lowest of the lows. Too many freaking Nigerians. If you call a taxi/cab, chances are that it will be a Nigerian and in few cases, Senegalese.

Too many Nigeria prostitutes competing with Akata around.

For fun, go to Legends on Richmond Avenue. The real sh.it starts around 12midnight. Nigerians there know the Nigeria runz girls and will gladly give you their numbers if you need company(?). God forbid bad thing!

Houston is just a clean version of Lagos.

Chilled there for 1 week. No need of 18hrs flight to get the Nigeria feeling.

Or better, redesign the state and throway dem to AkwaIbom State.

Mbaise! Mbaise! A leopard never changes its spots.

Coming to the Mbaise people claim to omniscience/wisdom, all I can say is:

And they keep wondering why Mbaise people are the most hated people in the whole world.

There is a popular saying that if Mbaise man enters your house and a viper invades your abode, you are safer if you maim the Mbaise man than kill the dangerous snake.

This is how much Mbaise people are liked in Igbo land.

So much that Mbaise men and women find it extremely difficult to marry outside of their towns/villages as no sane group
wants to be associated with their wicked ways

kol8701: Sorry, it beat my imagination why you would want someone relatively new to forex to open an account of 2k to start trading with, that's just wrong.

Please go trade with Demo account, after you have improved, then set up an account of 100usd not even 200usd. Start trading with 0.01 lot size...

Please be reminded that you are not trying to make money with this, but to hone your TRADING SKILLS,
and see how you'll feel when your money is on the line, so after maybe couple of months, with very visible improvement, then you can now fund your account as you deem fit.

Good luck.

Read my position please. I believe he needs to practice as much as necessary with demo account. If and when he is ready to start trading, he should open a live trading account with at least $2000.

Instead of opening account with $200 and losing it and start throwing in fund to cover his draw down or loss, he is better off opening the account with $2k and still trade 0.01LOT to build his confidence and then up the LOT.

As inter alia stated, if he chooses to do as you suggested, all I can tell him is GOOD LUCK. You guys are just cheering this guy on to throw away his $200. It is quiet unfortunate and unfair.

@teeboy4x. It is your money. Do as you wish but I have just given you my honest advice. Don't lose your money. This is business and not fantasy game.

kcc515: Bros, If you mean business start with $200 jeje, Your first Live account is your learning curve, even with good money management and an excellent trading system, I can bet you will start with loosing money, until you straighten out your emotions and trading psychology. If with time you double that $200 with 0.01 lot size, and your equity curve keeps increasing afterwards, then if you like you can fund the account up to 2k, 3k, 8k if you like and apply appropriate money management. At that time you should have 'become' a good trader. for you to do, you have to be! For you to make money consistently happily ever after, which is the doing part, you have to 'be' first, a good trader. That should be your focus when you start with the $200, not the making, but the being. We've seen sombody blow 8K between Yesterday and today, Lmao, He wont be the last to lose that kind of money, Follow InvertedHammer's advice and be the next comedy on this thread, I will enjoy the drama like today's own, me I kuku like comedy. best wishes
I guess after I made mockery of your broker issue, we have become enemies. grin grin grin LOL.
Check the bolded part of your submission. You are advising this fellow to open live account with $200 and lose it just to learn. How is that different with what I told him about loss of fund? Bottom line is that he will lose that money. He is going into trading with his hands tied behind his back already. Brokerage back office will love him. Period.

Ok. GO ahead and open your live account with $200 as the gurus have suggested and start trading 0.01 LOT.
First thing will be burn out b/c the yield will not worth the effort and time. Five bad trades and you are history.

Start with $2k minimum. And I stand to be corrected.

If you want to practice trading, open a demo account and practice all the trading styles you want with no cost to you except your time and effort. But $200? Come on now.

Take emotions out of it: YOU WILL LOSE THE MONEY. A TRIAL WILL CONVINCE YOU. IT IS YOUR MONEY. DO NOT LOSE IT!!!

If in doubt, this is a public challenge. Start with $200 and if you are still trading consistently with the same fund after 6 months I will give you $1000.

Read what others said and you will find the common denominator. They all agreed that you will lose the money but advise that you take consolation in that being the price you will pay for success. Well, if that's money you can afford to throw away, then go for it.

Everyone is watching the HnS formation in Eu/$ on daily. We are going into Summer in US when trading desks are scantily staffed. I suspect that retail traders are waiting to jump on the break. There is increased potential for fake out...price breaks the HnS support and violently reverses and never looks back demolishing all the stops on the way up while ignoring all the news, fundamentals and signals. Some people refer to it as "Stop Hunting".

Historically, May is a down month for Eu/$

Trade around this price with caution and tight STOPs. But if breaks and continues, it will become a sweet ride

Pipsland78: No single broker has the amount of cash required to influence the market. I wonder why folks keep saying that people lose because their brokers are betting against them, it's just not possible and this is why: if I'm using broker A and I decide to short the EU, and broker A decides to bet against me by longing the EU. It means that broker A is betting in favour of all other traders who are longing the EU at that particular moment. And what about brokers B, C, D, E,F, etc who are equally either shorting or longing the EU at that same moment. Also, what about the investment banks, governments, mutual funds, etc who are equally longing or shorting the EU at that same moment? So if my broker is betting against me, that means my broker is equally betting against soooooooo many other traders who are betting in my favour. And my broker simply does not have the amount of funds to influence the market - no broker does.

So the idea of a broker betting against a trader simply isnt valid; the market simply follows the majority and my broker doesnt make up the majority. If it were true that my broker could bet against me and force me to make a loss, then I shouldnt have been growing my account on a very consistent basis for so long.

Again, the market simply follows the money!
Yes. You are very correct. Forex market is bigger than any individual broker. The only gimmick these brokers play is to overstretch the spread to hit people's SL especially during news release, new week opening on Sunday or worst case scenario, freeze their platform until it is all over.

But a smart and savvy trader can bypass all these fraudulent bumps.
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by InvertedHammer: 10:40pm On May 19, 2013
The only reason Wole Soyinka is being invited to deliver speech outside of the land is just because of Affirmative Action and for comic relief (more like a circus monkey approach).

Who takes this guy serious other than himself and few knuckleheads that think that ending words with -ism is a mark of
verbal prowess?

WS was it but since he got in bed with politicians who patronize his companies with contracts, he started embracing political correctedness which explains the mediocre work he has been putting out lately.
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by InvertedHammer: 9:34pm On May 19, 2013
Have you ever listened to Wole Soyinka's interviews.
I was mesmerized by how Sowore was able to answer questions directly in the last encounter that had Okupe, Soyinka and Sowore in attendance

Soyinka is just a less comical and less dramatic version of Patrick Obahiagbon.
Problem with Soyinka is that he is too rigid and tries too hard to impress with crammed up vocabularies which distort the message in the context he uses them.

I think Wole Soyinka is losing his mind. Perhaps, all the blood he shed from his cult days in campus
is playing tricks with his mind. Well, isn't Nigeria the land of the absurd?
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by InvertedHammer: 7:56pm On May 19, 2013
Any writer whose work is so important to be translated into 50 languages is simply the best.

Am not surprised because Africans will never appreciate their owns.

The problem with WS is that he wants to be more English than the English--a typical African mentality.

He is trying so hard to attach importance to Nobel Prize which is what Academy Award is to movies.

Let WS come up with something that will be translated to 10 languages only and I will give him the attention he so much

desires. For one, he is a Shakespeare wanna be and lacks originality.
