YOUR CHILDREN ARE SEXY? ??

Few weeks ago, I was at the local airport and as I waited in the departure lounge, I noticed there were many children roaming about but it was understandable since it was summer holiday.

One other thing I noticed was the way most of the children were dressed. Most of them, especially the girls, were dressed in bum shorts, halter necks, cut off jeans, etc. The clothes in themselves weren't the issue per se; it was the overall look of the children that had me bothered. That was definitely not the first time I noticed it.

A few months before, I had taken my kids to a birthday party and found myself in what could easily have been a night club for kids. Scanty clothing such as tight or very short clothes, bum shorts, long weaves, etc, seemed to be the dress code. I noticed my son glancing around, probably wondering, "What in God's world are these other children wearing?" Or something like that.

Not long after, the kids were called out to dance to the hit songs of the season - these songs in my opinion should be rated PG 16. 4 - 6 year olds trooped to the dance floor, miming the sexually explicit songs and gyrating their bodies in the most sensual manner.
They could have given Beyonce a run for her money. They ran their hands over their bodies, shook their booties hard while their parents cheered them on. The boys had their upper shirts unbuttoned and rapped along perfectly to gangsta raps while doing flawless break dance.

Those who danced like actual children where shooed off the dance floor while the lewd ones were cheered on. As I watched, my child stared out of this circle looking longingly at the others dancing. I knew it was time to leave.

As we left, we went to an eatery where I bought them ice cream and gently explained to them the concept of decency and dancing with decorum.

Another time, at a game arcade for kids, I ran
into a lady who had made-up her kids' faces like they were mannequins for Tara or Mac beauty products. Their skirts were so tight, that running up and down the slide was uncomfortable for them.

So the question is, why are we sexualizing our kids? Why does your 4, 6 or 9 year old girl have to look like a chick? Why does she have to be hot or sexy? Should your 8 year old son go around with a comb in his hair and his pants sagged almost to his ankles?

If your child wears bum shorts out of the house at age 3, why should she
be expected to wear longer ones at 15? If she wears 2 rings and 12 bangles at 6, why won't she pierce a second ear hole at 17 and her bellybutton at 19? Why won't your son pierce his own ear at 15?

Are you setting your children up to be immodest and indecent? What trend are you starting them on? That all these are fashionable or trendy doesn't mean it's ok. What happened to children wearing dresses.
Children can look very nice and decent, they can be well covered and still look good.

In this age, when children are being abused. Is it wise to make your child an object of anyone's sexual attention? When I hear some children belt out sexually explicit lyrics, I ask myself how they became exposed to this songs!

As a parent, you can't play the CD of such songs and not expect your children to pick them up; the same goes for watching Mtv Base, Channel O, etc with your children. Studies have shown that children exposed to a high level of sexually explicit information tend to become sexually active early. Is that your goal as a parent?

Being a parent involves sacrifice. You will need to avoid listening to such music where your children are. Most of those lyrics demean women and teach your daughter that she's just a intimacy gadget and her body is for squeezing. It teaches the boys that money is everything and women are things to be used to satisfy their primal urges. These music introduces them to a degrading pop culture.

Our children have their lives ahead of them, let's set them on the right path by teaching them to dress decently and sing nice or age-appropriate songs. Let your children be children. Train up a child in the way that s/he should go and when s/he is old, s/he would depart from it.

The man who claims he was the SEAL Team 6 operator who shot Osama bin Laden in 2011 has written a new book, and his retelling of that raid shows the reason photos of the terror leader's body were never released.
The book, "The Operator" by Robert O'Neill, recounts the former Navy chief's career spanning 400 missions, though his role with the elite SEAL team's raid on bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, has become his most consequential.
According to O'Neill, he was walking behind his fellow SEALs as they searched bin Laden's three-story compound. Upstairs, they could roughly make out bin Laden's son Khalid, who had an AK-47.
"Khalid, come here," the SEALs whispered to him. He poked his head out and was shot in the face.
An unnamed point man and O'Neill proceeded up to the third floor. After they burst into bin Laden's bedroom, the point man tackled two women, thinking they might have suicide vests, as O'Neill fired at the Al Qaeda founder.
"In less than a second, I aimed above the woman's right shoulder and pulled the trigger twice," he wrote, according to the New York Daily News. "Bin Laden's head split open, and he dropped. I put another bullet in his head. Insurance."
There is some dispute over who fired the fatal shots, but most accounts are that O'Neill shot bin Laden in the head at some point. According to a deeply reported article in The Intercept, O'Neill "canoed" the head of bin Laden, delivering a series of shots that split open his forehead into a V shape.

O'Neill's book says the operators had to press bin Laden's head back together to take identifying photos. But that wasn't the end of the mutilation of bin Laden's body, according to Jack Murphy of SOFREP, a special-operations news website.
Two sources told Murphy in 2016 that several SEALs took turns dumping round after round into bin Laden's body, which ended up having more than 100 bullet holes in it.
Murphy, a former Army Ranger, called it "beyond excessive."
"The picture itself would likely cause an international scandal, and investigations would be conducted which could uncover other operations, activities which many will do anything to keep buried," he wrote.
After bin Laden's body was taken back to Afghanistan for full identification, it was transported to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) for burial at sea. Somewhere in the Arabian Sea on May 2, 2011, a military officer read prepared religious remarks, and bin Laden's body was slid into the sea.
The Defense Department has said it couldn't locate photos or video of the event, according to emails obtained in 2012 by The Associated Press.

Former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor was on Wednesday appointed as Senior Grand Warden of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE).
He was presented the honour by Prince Edward, the Grand the Duke of Kent, who is the longest serving Grand Master.

(3) Why am I scared of marriage? Is it because I’m scared of my poverty, due to lack of money, I don’t usually start the term with my mates in Secondary (Boarding) School... Having to visit my dad and hoping I get the money only for him to tell me stores... leaving me frustrated and depressed.
(4) Why am I scared of marriage? Was it due to my character formation? I was born by two highly temperamental beings.
(5) Why am I scared of marriage? Is it because I have been unable to fulfil my goals, dreams and aspirations at the desired age I chose.

My cousin has complains she's tired of her marriage.

She has been married for 5yrs and have four children (a set of twin girls and another boy and girl).

She has on several/most occasions been a victim of domestic violence, the husband spends most nights outside the home, comes back drunk, easily infuriated and top of it all an egoistic being.


My cousin has been enduring without telling anyone because of her ill mother(don't want her to die of heartbreak) and for the love of her kids, not forsaking the endurance based on Christianity belief.

Now her mum is gone just some days ago, pathetic as it seems the husband didn't show any sign of pity or sympathy, he started making threats of divorce accompanied with abuses calling she and her siblings "useless orphans,your sorrow just begin" and more despite the mourning state.

Now, she is clearly confused on the decision to take.

*To proceed with the divorce , noting the expenses of child rearing on a single mother. ( She's a qualified and educated Nurse)

*To seek or perhaps accept apology if who knows her husband apologizes like he always does. ( bearing in mind the level of threat, high level of domestic violence and mental distress she'll continue to undergo.)

Help her make a decision.

Imagine spending seven decades with someone and then dying less than five minutes apart.

That’s what happened last week to a British couple that had been married for 71 years. Wilf Russell, aged 93, died on March 29 at 6:50 a.m. Amazingly, his 91-year old wife, Vera, passed away just a few minutes later, at 6:54 a.m.

The couple were childhood sweethearts. They got engaged when they were just 16 and 18 and were married on Sept. 5, 1945. They had a family and lived together until Wilf, a veteran of World War Two, was diagnosed with dementia last year and moved into a care home in Wigston, Leicestershire.

After he stopped recognizing her during visits, Vera’s health declined as well, according to the couple’s granddaughter, Stephanie Welch. Vera was admitted to a hospital in January, just three miles from where Wilf was. She died not having been told of her husband’s death a few minutes prior.

Welch says her grandmother’s final words were about Wilf, "The last thing she said to me was: 'We're a right pair, aren't we?'” She believes Vera stayed put until the time was right. "I think she was waiting for him to go. She was broken-hearted."

Summary of the Story, After Sunday Service, the Senior Pastor called the ladies to his office, while the other was waiting at the Secretary's office. He interrogated them one after the other, saying he felt it in his Spirit that they are dating the man, they both confessed.
The funny part is, the man is the head of a particular department and the ladies are both members of the dept, always quarreling each time they holding a meeting.

Former Chase Manhattan Chief Executive David Rockefeller has died at the age of 101.
Rockefeller died in his sleep at home in Pocantico Hills, New York, on Monday morning as a result of congestive heart failure, according to a family spokesperson Fraser P. Seitel.

The businessman, who had an estimated fortune of $3 billion, retired as head of Chase Manhattan in 1981 after a 35-year career.

In the statement from the The Rockefeller Foundation confirming his death, Rockefeller was described as “one of the most influential figures in the history of American philanthropy and finance, considered by many to be ‘America's last great international business statesman’.”

Rockefeller, also known as ‘the banker’s banker’, according to the statement, is said to have donated almost $2 billion over his lifetime to various institutions including Rockefeller University, Harvard University and art museum.


David was the youngest of six children born to John D. Rockefeller Jr. and the grandson of Standard Oil co-founder John D. Rockefeller.

Rockefeller graduated from Harvard in 1936 and received a doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago in 1940. Appointed president of Chase Manhattan in 1961, he became chairman and CEO eight years later.

Rockefeller often spoke about the importance of American capitalism, which he said “brought more benefits to more people than any other system in any part of the world at any time in history.”

"The problem is to see that the system is run as efficiently and as honestly as it can be," he added.

Rockefeller was married to Margaret McGrath from 1940 until her death in 1996 and the couple had six children.

The mother of Biggie Smalls, aka Notorious B.I.G., has spoken of her anguish on the 20th anniversary of the hip hop legend’s unsolved murder, revealing that the pain of losing her son has never gone away.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Voletta Wallace, 64, admits she hurts ‘every single day’ knowing that she will never see her son again and that his killer is still at large.

And in a shocking claim, the matriarch of hip hop reveals that she and LAPD detectives investigating the murder DO know who is responsible for her son’s death but a ‘conspiracy’ prevents the case from ever being solved.

This comes as a source who was in Biggie’sinner circle tells DailyMail.com that the rapper may have been the unintended target of the shooting.

Biggie, whose real name was Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in cold blood on March 9, 1997 in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles, aged just 24.

The ‘Juicy’ singer had earlier delivered his final performance at the Soul Train Awards before he was killed after leaving an after-party at the Petersen Automotive Museum in a two-vehicle convoy.

Trailed by fellow artist P. Diddy, who opted to travel in a separate car, his friend could only watch as the Brooklyn-born star was hit by four bullets from a driver in a Chevrolet Impala that pulled alongside his GMC Suburban SUV.

Speaking from her home in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Voletta choked back tears as she recalled the shooting.

‘When it comes to the anniversary of the passing of his death, I don’t really like to talk about it. I know there will be a few tributes in honor of Christopher, and that’s great he’s still remembered, but it’s very tough for me and my family.’

Voletta, who is a devout Christian, admits she has turned to God for answers since the murder.

However, as comforting as the church is, it can never replace her son.

‘I get by, using religion to ease my pain. But that’s not easy. It helps a little, but it’s a far cry from bringing Christopher back to life,’ she said.

‘I have had lots of support from friends at church, and I’m thankful for that over the years. People have been very nice to me, and that’s also because Christopher was such a glowing figure in their lives too.’

Voletta blames the LAPD for not solving the crime and claims detectives know exactly who was responsible.

‘I have a very good idea who murdered Christopher and I genuinely believe that the LAPD know exactly who did too,’ she said.

‘They’ve done their investigation, but they just refuse to move forward. I don’t know why they haven’t arrested who was involved.

‘It seems to me that it’s one giant conspiracy, and someone is definitely being protected somewhere down the line.’

The longer the case goes unsolved Voletta, who is executor of Biggie’s estate, knows it’s unlikely she will ever be able to put her son’s senseless killing behind her.

‘There’s no closure for me until that murderer is behind bars and sentenced,’ she said.

‘That may give me some closure to grab onto, but it sure won’t ever bring my son back.’

Born on May 21, 1972, Biggie was raised in Brooklyn by single-mom Voletta, a Jamaican immigrant, who worked as a pre-school teacher.

It was a tough start to life and Biggie was selling crack on street corners by age 12 landing him with a long rap sheet and a stint in jail aged 17.

But in the late 1980s the troubled teen, who liked to rap as a sideline to dealing drugs, got his big break.

At 6ft 3ins and nearly 400lbs, he used the fitting stage name Biggie Smalls after Calvin Lockhart’s gangster character in the 1975 movie Let’s Do It Again.

One of his mix-tapes was sent to an editor at hip-hop magazine The Source and Biggie was soon signed by Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs, then working for Uptown Records.

In September 1994 Biggie released his debut album, ‘Ready to Die.’ under Combs’ newly formed Bad Boy Records.

Backed with hits like ‘Juicy’ and ‘Big Poppa,’ the record went platinum selling four million copies and the young hip-hop artist became a full-fledged star.

The album earned several awards including Billboard’s Rap Artist of the Year and Rap Single of the Year.

By then he had dropped his original name in place of The Notorious B.I.G. after Lockhart sued him over ‘Biggie Smalls’.

The rapper’s career went from strength to strength and he backed several other artists even working with Michael Jackson, on his 1995 album, ‘HIStory.’

By the close of 1995, Biggie was one of hip hop’s best-selling and most sought after performers.

He was married to R&B singer Faith Evans and they had a son, Christopher ‘CJ’ Wallace Jr., in 1996.

Biggie already had a three-year-old daughter, T’yanna, with another woman.

Theories around the shooting – now a part of hip hop lore – have reemerged in one form or another over the years as journalists and fans attempted to tackle the case.

But a source who was with Biggie the night he died is convinced the bullets were meant for P. Diddy, not him.

The source says he believes the bullets were meant for Diddy, aka Sean Combs, as a revenge killing six months after Biggie’s rap rival Tupac Shakur was also gunned down.

The claim that Diddy is somehow linked to Shakur’s murder in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 has long been rumored in hip hop circles.

Earlier this week it emerged that the car in which Biggie was murdered in is now being sold by memorabilia dealer, Moments in Time for a staggering $1.5 million.

It was originally picked up by a woman in an auction in 1997, who had no idea how famous the vehicle was, according to TMZ.

Apparently, the passenger door was replaced after police officers removed it during their investigation.

Ironically, both rappers are still competing posthumously.

The iconic Nokia 3310 is coming back.

Evan Blass, a reliable phone leaker who writes for VentureBeat, reports that a relaunch of the brick-like phone is planned for the end of the month.

The Nokia 3310, first launched 17 years ago, has achieved cult status. It was extremely hardy, with a great battery and a now-iconic design.

But it was phased out long ago; it's so old it doesn't even have a colour screen and Nokia lost its market-leading position with the dawn of the iPhone and the smartphone era.

HMD Global, the Finnish company that now makes Nokia phones, is reportedly preparing to launch a "modern version" of the 3310 ahead of Mobile World Congress, a mobile industry conference to be held in Barcelona, Spain, on February 26.

It sounds like the new 3310 will riff on the original, rather than being a perfect reproduction. Blass describes it as an "homage." But beyond that, there are few details as to what the rumoured device will feature. Colour screen? Camera? Apps? None of these are exactly cutting edge, but they would all be a major step forward on the original 3310's basic feature set.

It will reportedly retail for €59 ($63; £50) in Europe. It's not clear when or whether it'll launch elsewhere.

An HMD Global representative declined to comment on "rumours or speculation."

On February 14around the year 278A.D., Valentine, a holy priest in Rome in the days of Emperor Claudius II, was executed.
Under the rule of Claudius the Cruel, Rome was involved in many unpopular and bloody campaigns. The emperor had to maintain a strong army, but was having a difficult time getting soldiers to join his military leagues. Claudius believed that Roman men were unwilling to join the army because of their strong attachment to their wives and families.
To get rid of the problem, Claudius banned all marriages and engagements in Rome. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret.
When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death. Valentine was arrested and dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to be beaten to death with clubs and to have his head cut off. The sentence was carried out on February 14, on or about the year 270.
Legend also has it that while in jail, St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer’s daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it “From Your Valentine.”
For his great service, Valentine was named a saint after his death.
In truth, the exact origins and identity of St. Valentine are unclear. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, “At least three different Saint Valentines, all of them martyrs, are mentioned in the early martyrologies under the date of 14 February.” One was a priest in Rome, the second one was a bishop of Interamna (now Terni, Italy) and the third St. Valentine was a martyr in the Roman province of Africa.
Legends vary on how the martyr’s name became connected with romance. The date of his death may have become mingled with the Feast of Lupercalia, a pagan festival of love. On these occasions, the names of young women were placed in a box, from which they were drawn by the men as chance directed. In 496 AD, Pope Gelasius decided to put an end to the Feast of Lupercalia, and he declared that February 14 be celebrated as St Valentine’s Day.
Gradually, February 14 became a date for exchanging love messages, poems and simple gifts such as flowers.

Jack Ma, one of China’s most successful and richest entrepreneurs, has responded to America’s growing globalization backlash, arguing that the superpower has benefited immensely from the process – but that it has largely squandered its wealth.

“American international companies made millions and millions of dollars from globalization,” Ma – the founder of Alibaba, the world’s largest online retailer – told participants on the second day of Davos. “The past 30 years, companies like IBM, Cisco and Microsoft made tons of money.”

The question is: where did that money go? It was wasted, Ma explained.

“In the past 30 years, America has had 13 wars at a cost of $14.2 trillion. That’s where the money went.” He also questioned America’s decision to bankroll Wall Street after the 2008 financial crash, arguing the money would have been better spent in other areas.

“What if they had spent part of that money on building up their infrastructure, helping white-collar and blue-collar workers? You’re supposed to spend money on your own people.”

It’s not globalization – and everything that comes along with it, like free trade and outsourcing – that’s to blame for America’s woes. It’s the way the country’s elite managed the process.

“It’s not that other countries steal American jobs; it is your strategy – that you did not distribute the money in a proper way.”
But it wasn’t all doom and gloom in the session. In fact, Ma remains hopeful that globalization can still be a great force for good – for both the US and China. It just needs to be reformed.

“I believe globalization is good, but it needs to be improved. It should be inclusive globalization.”

Ma thinks that should be achievable – and he says President-elect Donald Trump is on board with him. “He’s open-minded and he’s listening,” he told participants.

The two men met recently in New York and had a lot more in common than might be expected.

“We spoke about how we can help small American businesses sell their products in China and Asia through our network, which can create a lot of jobs for them.”
