Why do Christians always accuse muslims of worshipping an idol and not the true God?? What if the muslims accuse christians of not worshipping the true God but an idol?? How would you react to that?? You will only try to defend yourself thats what i know; but that does n't make u right in anyway. If i may ask, what about Jehovah's witness people that say Jesus christ is not God?? are they not worshipping the true God??

A friend of mine got his BEng and MEng from Imperial College London before coming down to do his NYSC in Nigeria. Can't Nigerian Colleges of Technology and Polytechnics award Degrees like them there in the UK?? Can't YabaTech still remain a college of Technology and award BTech and MTech Degrees?? Can't our Institute of Management & Technology (IMT) Enugu be like the prestigious Massachusette Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States where Bachelors, Masters and PhD Degrees are awarded??

If he denied the revelation of Jesus Christ  being the son of God, that means he actually got a revelation from God. Did he deny the existence of God in heaven?? Prophet Muhammad got his revelation about Jesus Christ from God. Muhammad was born much more later after christianity started, he must have read the Bible too; but the revelation he claimed to have gotten from God was what he wrote down; and in it, God did not reveal to him that Jesus Christ was the son of God or That Jesus Christ was God. Do you blame him??

Why should you expect them to believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God when their Koran tells them that Jesus christ is a prophet of God. But i think the problem is from the lecturers who learnt programming with fortran in their days and refused to advance due to laziness. so what they do is to pass on their outdated knowlege to students like you .

FORTRAN has grown beyond FORTRAN 77. Check out FORTRAN 2003 and see the object -oriented features it has. It is highly comparable with other OOP languages like JAVA and C++ and better than them in the handling and processing of figures.

Some of the highest paid programmers in the US and UK today are FORTRAN and COBOL programmers. You can still learn it if you wish, it does nt stop you from learning other languages like JAVA and C++ which a lot of people still prefer to use.

No religion is superior to the other, we all worship the same God. If Christians will not agree that Muslims worship the same God with them, they should also say that they don't worship the same God with those who practice Judiasm (the Jews), because they don't in anyway believe in Jesus Christ.

Yes, YabaTech and Kaduna Polytechnic have been converted to universities. At present they are still under NBTE which means they are still running their programs as polytechnics. I believe the university thing will take effect in 2007/2008 session.

The conversion is rubbish. Why won't FG empower polytechnics to run Bachelors and Master Degree programs rather than converting polytechnics to universities?? Even Ghana to has empowered their polytechnics to start running BTech degree programs just to remove the disparity between HND and Degree certificates. Colleges and universities in Uk and US run Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and PHd programs; why can't Nigeria do same rather than abolishing the polytechnic system which they claimed was set up to produce Technicians and Technologist for technological development. Must everybody go to a school called UNIVERSITY?? Why the emphasis on university and university certificate rather than skills and knowledge?? It's a bad development i must confess; and i can bet it with anybody that Nigerian government will regret this act of abolishing polytechnics in nigeria.

And for your information you are not well placed with your 1st class or what ever than all 2.2, 3rd class and HND graduates. What is the difference between ALLAH and ALLAHU?? There is no difference brother, it depends on how you want to pronounce and spell it. Is there a difference between JEHOVA and JEHOVAH?? Again what makes you believe that it is christians that worship the true GOD, that is if the GODs were different?? A muslim too can convince you that his GOD who he calls ALLAH in arabic is the true GOD by quoting his own scriptures for you. As a christian you believe GOD created the heaven and earth in 6 days; where you there when GOD was creating the heaven and earth?? No, but you believe with faith that it was so. the muslim man too also believes with faith that GOD called ALLAH in arabic created the heaven and earth in 6 days. For God's sake there is no difference; we are serving the same GOD but in differnt ways. Even in christianity the Catholic belief is quite different from that of other denominations; are we going to say that Catholics don't worship the same GOD with Christ Embassy or Redeem or Mountain of Fire??

Anything PDP is a continuation of OBJ's government, so we do not want PDP again. I live in kaduna and have been to katsina before, i know exactly how non-muslims in katsina feel being made to live their lives in accordance with a religion and laws that are different from their own. In Lagos and other southern cities women enter the same buses with their husbands but in katsina they have seperate buses for men and women, which implies that husband and wife have to take different commercial buses. is that not oppression??

If you are well learned in arabic language and was asked to translate the word of GOD in the Bible for Arabs to read and understand, what would be your translation for the word "GOD" in arabic?? Will it not be ALLAHU?? did the Jews call GOD "GOD"?? No, they called him Jehovah, El- shammah, El- shaddai and all that. In Ibo language they call God Chineke, in Kalabari language it is Tamuno, in urhobo language it is Oghene, in yoruba language it is Oluwa and in arabic please, GOD is ALLAHU. GOD can be said to be the english meaning for Chineke; GOD can be said to be the english meaning for Tamuno; GOD can be said to be the english meaning for Oghene; GOD can also be said to be the english meaning for ALLAHU. All those supporting the discrimination against people with 2.2 and 3rd class simply because they got 1st class or 2.1 are simply those who are afraid to take the same test or exams with those who came out with 2.2 and 3rd class. They know very well that their performance(s) in the test will be poor compared to what people with 2.2 and 3rd class will get. They are doing everything possible to save themselves from disgrace and embarrassment. We know all these things i beg. It's the same thing with HND and Bsc too, the Bsc holders are always afraid to write the same test with HND holders for fear of being disgraced. Thatz why i love ICAN; it is show your skills and not show your class of Degree or HND, and the HND guys have been doing better or showing their skills there. Some Bsc holders with 1st class and 2.1 have been writing ICAN exams for the past 6 years and have not been able to qualify; some of them have even given up!! while most HND guys clear the exams within 2 years.
