This is the new norm, every country is doing it now. You can’t be making money from a country and not pay tax!

Every foreign purchase from eBay or Amazon is subjected to online tax, which mean you paying tax to that country, because it’s a law.

Same thing should apply in Nigeria as well, online companies irrespective of where they are based or located should pay tax for income originating from Nigeria.

Since they dont need physical presence - I am guessing you will go and meet them in Yankee to pay up..

A greater %age of everyone is just greedy and selfish in this country, I've taken my time to study that IPPIS brouhaha, to me, there is nothing different there with people working in corporate organisations, basically you have to pay your tax, pension, nhf and most importantly, earn from one source in the organisation (you can't have dual pay slips from the same company). This is just what they are fighting for. Earn multiple salaries, short-change the government on tax etc.
They don't just want to consider the plights of the students, just their greedy selfish evil agenda alone

BS: in my final year, I had a lecturer that was supposed to take a course, I just saw that man once, only once in a whole year. He had several offices in several universities, earnings salaries there. He enjoyed, while I (the student suffered)
