Politics › Re: What did you think of pres. Jonathan's independence day address to the nation? by ITbomb(m):
Fellow Nigerians
"A politician thinks of the next election, a statesman, the next generation"
This is why I can't vote APC or any of its clones .
Instead of waiting for the President to focus and perform the oath he swore to the people of Nigeria , then if he is not doing well , use it against him n beat him in 2015, they are busy debating in the second year of an administration whether the President is running for election or not
GEJ is a statesman .

Dospix: I am yet to see how all the strikes ASUU embarked in the past has in anyway benefited the Nigerian student. The earlier we come to realize that the groups sole responsibility is to further the individual course of their body the better for us.
That is why they must not call off this strike till the Agreement is fully implemented so that there will be no further strikes again.
If the Agreement is implemented, you will see more lecture rooms, well equipped labs and workshops, better hostels and well motivated and committed lecturers. Sure these will benefit Nigerian students

Education › Re: ASUU Has Been Unfair To The Nigerian Students- Obasi by ITbomb(m):
It is not about releasing money here and there.
It is time Nigeria should agree on something, put it on a paper and implement it.
All ASUU is saying is 'implement the Agreement you signed'. Finish.
N100bn for this and N30bn for that does not show seriousness and commitment to develop the education sector, it is a kangaroo arrangement just to solve immediate problem while waiting for another strike next year.
If it involve shutting down the school sysytem for a year or more, to produce a blueprint for making our certificate worth its name, so be it

Romance › Re: Do People Change? by ITbomb(m): 12:16pm On Sep 30, 2013
ATMC: do you think change occured for real?
ogugua88: People change yet remain true to themselves. Despite their different phases, they still have the same identity.
Ogugua put it much better.
On a low level they change, like a girl meeting a guy and in order to get to her pant, the guy show all niceties and caring and the girl sees the Prince Charming she has been looking albeit from just one perspective. Then the guy has gotten it and he still want to try some other ones. His behaviour changes and the girl now sees another another side of him and say 'he has changed'
On a higher level they dont change their identity, people that knows the guy well know him as a 'player' and they are saying of the same person , ' he can never change, he will soon grow tire of the girl and look for another', and he does.

Politics › Re: Will You Rate President Jonathan's Media Chat Poor Or Impressive? by ITbomb(m): 10:14am On Sep 30, 2013
Compare with Obasanjo, he did very well.
We need more development and less talk
However, the people need a leader to instill confidence in them, GEJ should work harder on that aspect.
When we look up to someone to show direction and all we hear is 'I dont know' or 'It happen everywhere' , it is demoralising.
But far better than OBJ who crack jokes at questions of serious national concern.
Score: 60%

@OP for the bolden, it will take an article to explain it. But the summary is that people change from hot to cool and back depending on the circumstances BUT if you study the pattern on which they change , u basically see the same personality.
Romance › Re: Do People Change? by ITbomb(m): 5:10am On Sep 30, 2013
Human beings dont change. It is the image or perception we have of another that tends to change.
What happens in nature that we see as change is just nature tryin to balance itself. Same with humans. So instead of tryin to understand a man or woman or even nature at one particular side of life, try to understand its pattern and the way he/it balances itself against emotions n the forces of life. Then you will understand why a person does what he does instead of what you think he should do from ur narrow one sided view of him

Caracta: Truth is, some people will delete and register again within few hours.

You guys should just watch what you post on the internet. My 2 kobo grin
Now , that's my lady.
That's y I don't support the move , delete in anger , register back when u r bored.
Imagine someone abusing ur father and you get back at him only to find that he had deleted the post.
.
For the chat or mentioned button , that will slow down NL and possibly lose the mobile appeal . In case u didn't know NL is one of the very few sites in Nigeria that looks the same both on desktop and mobile and that is its edge over others as most members are on mobile . And also being devoid of 'javascript' (stand to be corrected) makes it fast loading and robust.
.
For me , the content is good , the Mods are doing great but some should pls shutup at least to cover some foolishness.
