When I was job hunting, I had over a hundred and twenty applications. I made it to interview stage in 12 of them and got two offer letters from the 12. More than a hundred applications ended in unfortunately.

Some companies advertise to fulfil all righteousness. They already have in-house staff they want to employ.

Once they start the letter with extreme lamba and start hyping you the way Israel DMW does, just know you didn't get the job.

Things like "highly impressive application", "wonderful and stupendous CV". Just scroll to the bottom to read, "unfortunately" or "sadly". That is where the meat of the letter is.

I strongly doubt going by several statements credited to Mele Kyari. Except they subsidise it and continue importing while Dangote exports his fuel.

If our investment as a country into Dangote refinery is just for federal government to be shareholder that earns dividend from a private company, the government should just come out and admit it.

All of these propaganda here and there about PMS or AGO price reducing should be quashed. Let's know federal government is not involve in this joint venture to bring down price of petroleum products.

To be fair, the MD of NNPC has always maintained that the refineries are not there to reduce price. He said it will ensure availability and that's all. It's NLC and IPMAN that keeps selling the dream that price will reduce.

All of these, please do not lose track of the fact that the daily trust news piece mentioned it that in 2015 when APC as a party took over leadership, the exchange rate used to determine electricity tariff was N198.97 and within 5 years it was N441.78. The inflation rate jumped from 8.3% in 2015 to 12% in 2020 and 16.97 under same APC government. Currently inflation rate is 31.70% and projected to reach 35% before end of June.

In all of these, Tinubu-led APC government is about to pull the lever on electricity subsidy.

I'm still using that 30k I loaded in July, time to load another 50k.

At least, I enjoy the subsidy another two years. And if they don't remove subsidy, the units are still there to be used.

They have kuku always maintained that the refinery will not reduce price.
