BlueRayDick: They have the options of merger & acquisition.
Staff of those companies should be on the lookout for opportunities to jump ship before everything cast. Although they have 2 years window to meet the minimum capital requirement sha .
But the pressure will be much on business development people o. In fact, everybody for bank go turn business developer as matter take dey now There's not much value to be gotten from M&A. If you add up from UBA downwards, I doubt it's up to 500bn. That's barely enough for two tier 1 banks. Why do I have a feeling this 500bn will be reviewed downwards. |

You are just typing out of ignorance thinking he just show up from nowhere, drop screenshot and claim winnings without previously dropping the game for his followers to play.
This is when he posted the game. October 19, 2023.

Read the comment section and see people that played the game with him and those that converted to other bookies like sportybet etc.
October 22nd was when the game boomed.

Melvyn11: Somebody won 450k dollars (517million) just last year here with a 6k stake and you think he is making loses. Most of you are really hilarious. They prey on the gullibility of most of you. This is the only evidence I've seen he won 450,000 dollars. See the 100,000 I also just won He throws out the bets like I said, but no way he actually plays all of them and stays in profit. I stand by it with 100% conviction.

Most of them will have to raise or merge Saw this. Banks like unity and jaiz bank are gone. https://twitter.com/ugodre/status/1773465870221611233/photo/1

Those who write the odds are not fools I wonder how much effort they put into preparing those odds. If people who are brilliant physicists, programmers and mathematicians have not figured out a way to consistently beat the bookies, I don't think we stand any chance. |

BlueRayDick: That's why I always smile knowingly when I see people post " Ekitipikin has won another 50m, his winnings cancel out his losses. ..:. "
Sports Betting is something I've played very well in the hey days of nairabet, 1960bet, surebet , merrybet and dem Bet Colony . Sports betting na just pure luck no matter how good a punter u may claim to be . U are always at the mercy of different factors that will decide the eventual outcome of the event u bet on(since u are not participating in the event urself physically)
U will win some and lose some but there are higher chances that u will lose more. People actually lose more than they win ; that's why betting companies are still in existence .
Anybody that wants to make a living out of betting will only end in penury . Some of those celebrity punters have gigs they do on the side that fetches them money which they stake with . That's why anybody who stakes and wins big is not advised to start looking for how to win another big money before the money runs out; instead he should set something up first for himself before any other thing When I have more time, I will dig into his last 50 on stake, total how much he has lost and let someone tell me how one win will wipe off the losses. I use stake.com because you can always go back to the bet to verify if it was won or not. Maybe the result will help convince those who are influenced by his posts not to engage in it. And if they must, just throw in money they can afford to dash out or burn in a club. |

GloriousGbola: it is simple imho - he is a paid influencer for the betting companies. or as they say were wey dey disguise. his posts are clearly driving up betting . Exactly. Claims he's the master of martingale casino crash betting with guranteed 10-20 dollars daily. I checked his approach and it was just basic. Infact, I saw better approaches when I did my own research but quickly figured out you will need to have an infinite amount of money to succeed at it. Even if you have it, it's bad return on investment. |

I went through the last 25 or so stakes that mrbanks posted on his telegram group on stake.com. He won only one which was 2 odds.
There's no way on earth that guys bets those things he posts and stays in profit. Contrary to popular belief here, one win will not wipe the losses he would have accumulated.
I don't think he has quite told us how he actually makes money. It's certainly not from the betslips he posts. |

swiz123: That is how they queued to apply pressure on Bokku bread when it was sold 950. Bokku had to start selling on two breads to each person but they were not dettered. They will take all their children and extended to the queue just to sell the same bread 1200 at their shops.
Bokku were only trying to save their business from those scavengers by trying to deal directly with the actual consumers. Same thing with the company that makes charcoal stove. Someone will buy at 12500 from them and list on jumia at 50,000. The company had to start doing verification of individual purchase to weed out criminals. Still, they will register numerous sim cards to make different orders. |

raumdeuter: Well it depends on where they live in Nigeria outside the big cities you will realize it's true. Live in Ikere Ekiti, Afikpo, or Jebba you will realize that it's true
What you pay in monthly rent is what itsrm pays in 3yrs There's no where anyone on 200k a month lives in Nigeria that he can afford to hire a driver, maid, and other domestic staff. How much do you think fueling that car a month is? How much is he paying the driver, the maid and the other domestic staff? That's even ignoring the fact that we are not talking about outliers, we are talking about the reality of the average Nigerian. |

If the recipient's account is credited with the money, the transaction will not fail (bounce back) even if the sender's account is yet to be debited, unless the reversal is manually initiated.
But if the sender's account is debited but the recipient's account is not yet credited, the transaction can bounce back. You have no idea. I've had credit alert reversed before. |

Incognito9: That's true.
The reason I converted my savings to usdt is because of their stake daily rewards. It was huge mehn, e.g the picture below 👇
A 5000 usdt will be giving you 2 dollar per day, so the monthly reward is up to 60 dollars which is huge to me considering I was just saving the money in naira account.
And this is on 14% APR, there was a time the APR reach 30%, omo
Nah the physical dollar hoarders are the ones loosing if naira appreciate. Was? E no dey again? And it does look like there's some significant risk involved. Interest rate in the US is about 5% if I'm not mistaken. |

BlueRayDick: Apple is imported and not grown in Nigeria .
Market Square is able to sell at a reduced cost due to economies of scale. Market square's cost of operation/production is spread over a large number of goods. Except that things in market square are not cheap. Ideally, you get things cheaper outside than in market square. When market square was selling indomie at 18k, the woman that supplies my wife was selling 16,500. The apple seller na just criminal. |

Incognito9: I converted all my savings into dollars when the exchange rate was at $1/1600, and staked it in Binance. But since the Naira started appreciating, I had to redeem the money and trade a coin with it.
TBH, I have doubled the money, so far I'm on the winning side. But if it go below $1000, I will repeat it again.
Nah physical dollar hoarders, I dey pity I was saying it that time that the idea of buying usdt with naira and hoping to sell higher does not make any sense to me. If you buy dollar, make sure you invest it in something that can give some returns. If naira gains, you offset it with the returns. It may not offset the entire loss but at least, you'll be in a better position than someone who just left it idle. |

swiz123: We have too many middlemen scavenging for profits from a particular product in Nigeria. The death of small retail shops will mark the beginning of our economic renaissance.
A carton of indomitable noodles sold for 10,500 at its peak and retailers increased their prices to 300 per one. The company had to reduce the price to 8900 so that they can at least continue making sales or face either downsizing or completely shutting down.
Guess what? These retailers are still selling 300 per one while supermarkets are selling 240 per one. Without these supermarkets, the noodles company would most certainly leave business just like GSK and we would be left with an army of unemployed youths and reduced revenue for the government. One day I wanted to buy apple, the woman told me it was 500 naira per one. The apple was smaller than what I usually buy at 400 naira in market square. Had to ask why her apple is more expensive than market square when market square pays staff, probably has a loan they are servicing and sometimes run 24/7 on diesel. She didn't have any reasonable response apart from the normal cock and bull story of how she bought one at 499 naira and one naira is her gain. Another instance, my son wanted to celebrate his birthday so we had to prepare a party pack for his classmates. I went to the store someone directed me to. I'll point at one thing she will say it's 1500 per one. I'll point at another and she'll say its 2500 per one. Even the pack itself she said it was 500 naira per one. There are 22 children in his class. If I put gifts of 5k in one party pack, I'll spend more than 100k. I left her shop and went to mile 3 market. The pack she told me was 500 per one, I bought dozen for 1000. To think she will even buy cheaper than me because I was so shocked at the price that I didn't even bother to price it. That experience really opened my eyes. When next I have things to buy in bulk, I head over to mile 3. |
