yanabasee2:It is not good. Government job mostly stifle excellence and creativity. It is not a place for supposed bright minds. |
GboyegaD:Who are the "we"? Only those who have been affected can sue. |
insidelife22:Do you mean nameless hotel guests are now political enemies? |
forgiveness:Nope to your question. I assume you are a christian. There are human sacrifices, stoning to death, lying to advance faith and others in the bible. Should I assume you are a human ritualist, intolerant bigot and liar by default? |
Better accept the deal. No water, no life! |
Nnamdinaija:Fake, fake fake!!! |
makemoneywbsite:Which country has China taken over? |
mmsen:They are primarily the reason Boko haram are still in the fringes. The regular army would not move an inch without their support and when they do, they suffer losses when faced with Boko haram. And why do you assume it is the foreign training that will solve the issues that cause troops to go AWOL?Who is talking about AWOL? I am speaking of fleeing on sight of enemy and abandoning weapons with flimsy excuses. Several Nigerian MWRAP are now in the hands of terrorists thanks to the incompetent graduates and recruits. There are many things going on within the armed forces that make life hard for those on the front lines, where they are trained isn't even in the top 100 issues. You obviously know very little about military capabilities. Many of them are an embarrassment as they regularly surrender weapons to Boko haram without a fight. They are indirectly arming terrorists with weapons they claim they didn't have. |
festacman:Most Nigerians don't want to pay custom dues, that hasn't stop custom from collecting fees. Most Nigerians are not in charge of the police and cannot be blamed for its decisions. The so-called modern kits are either severely scarce or absent at most police divisions. |
At what cost? Another project that will be gulping billions of Naira every month. |
Stories that touch. Why can't the man come back to hand over your properties to lawyers for management? Because the said property are jointly owned. If the property are that important to him, he should be more serious with the divorce so they can be properly shared. |
mmsen:Result of what? 100% of Nigerian special forces are trained abroad. 100% of fighter pilots get major part of their training abroad. Just ask anyone you know in the military, they will tell you the results! Just look at the locally trained NDA graduates, they are specialist in running away from Boko haram while abandoning weapons they claim they don't have. Hong Kong riot lasted for months, it was stopped without the need for armed reinforcement even when the protest turned violent because the police where well trained. It is wise to learn from those who are experienced and better. |
Regular customer. |
Ammishaddai:What is hard to understand here? They practise nomadic herding because of free food for cattle often from other people's farm. It will never stop without sincere government ban or if the herders starts to fear for their or cattle's life. |
seunayantokun:Shame on you boy. I asked someone else a question and you jumped in despite lacking the intellect or conviction to answer it. The OP who was smart understood the absurdity of killing tens of thousands of surrendered terrorists can capitulated but you couldn't grasp. I believe death for terrorists is the only correct response and surrendered terrorists should not be treated like those captured in battle. What do you believe? You detest seeing justice done, you don't want your 18,000 terrorists taken to court and judged according to their different cases. You are expressing your shallow thinking once again. I never knew each of the surrendered terrorists came along with detailed dossier of their individual crimes and will happily volunteer such when asked. It is even funny that you don't want them all killed, you now want "justice" based on imaginary different cases. All terrorists are the same, no different cases. If one deserves death, they all of them. |
Tovard:Get proper education. Government don't businesses. Where they do, it fails. |
seunayantokun:Why dodge my question? There are over 18,000 "repentant" terrorists being camped in Borno, do you want them all executed? |
cornelman:Aside celebrities, nobody really comes out as far as Nigeria is concerned. The rape cases we hear about are mostly reported to the police and not the public. Society have always frowned against rape at least where women are concerned but that doesn't mean the victims are seen as a kind of hero. There is significant stigma attached to be known as victim of rape which cause many to leave it to god. But no such awareness is even created to liberate the boy child. A research shows that one out of six boys had been sexually abused before age 16. The research even claimed that it likely underestimated the number due to audience received. Ask guys around you and get stories. Nobody asked them, not their families nor the society. Can you point me to one local awareness campaign encouraging girl rape victims to "come out"? Also, where is the source of your research? I reiterate again, nobody except immediate family members owes anyone anything. Is their a normal person who would stop a random woman or upon meeting them first time start asking them about past rape? Today, It is certain that girls won't talk too if they are aren't encouraged to do so. Molestation of girl child has always been from time past. But today they have a voice supported by both men and women. The same should go for their brothers too.Girls don't talk at least not in public. Even few cases that make it out are scrutinized by angry "truthers" who tell us how they or their friends have been framed before by liars seeking attention. Do you even outrightly believe stories of rape from women? The point is every weak irrespective of gender, needs a voice to speak for it, a voice to encourage it to report evil against it, eyes that wouldn't turn the blind side, ears that wouldn't turn the deaf side and mind that wouldn't be insensitive to their unheard and unsaid plights. The world you are describing doesn't exist yet. No one is speaking for any particular person safe in very rare cases of public interest. Most rape victims only "speak" via reporting the culprit and if they are minor, their parents or guardian doing the reporting. What have you personally done to solve the problem and did you encourage all those your guys with stories to come out and tell it? Finally, why can't anyone make a point without turning it into competition for attention or victimhood contest? |
Racoon:Would you want to kill over 18,000 and counting "repentant" terrorists? |
hoover420:The guy can't think let alone critically. To be honest, i have thought about it a lot and I also came to the conclusion that the black race most especially Africans have a problem. There is no political entity called Africa or Black race. Maybe God just created us that way,i can't tell.Care to explain what you mean by "that way". Hopefully coming generations can change the narrative just like it happened with the Asians.Nothing much has changed about Asia but few countries are better now. Most of the asian countries started developing not less than 50 yrs ago so all hope is not lost on the black race[/quote]It is better to mention the countries, saying "Asian" only means you have not really thought about the issue. What is it with comparing "Asian countries" many of which have nothing in common to the disparate "black race"? |
Do you ask UAE or Norway what if they don't have oil? I bet you don't because it will be wrong to criticize a superior. |
TMKsouth:The funny thing is this white worshippers never criticise UAE or other rich gulf states for their oil-funded infrastructures. |
Jman06:What is human capital and technology? Doesn't Ogbanje count Mind you, some of us who criticize the way things are done here in Africa ain't doing that because we hate on our kinds but because of our burning desire to see Africa stand shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the world.Talk is cheap! You are one of the numerous problems we have. And you are not alone, the majority actually agrees with you. What should we really expect from a group of people whose only deduction from seeing an organized society is to blame "our leaders" even though the society itself was not the product of leaders. Manh, when you place the black and white races in comparison as they presently stand, the differences are just too clear in terms of reasoning and ways of life generally. Every critical thinker will always question why Africans have continued to remain the way we are.Critical thinkers identify real problems and proffer solutions. Lazy thinkers on the other hand prefer to "agitate" and "fight" imaginary and incidental problems because it is not trivial to face the real problems. |
Emperor88:No one apart from your parents or guardian owes you anything. I bet you didn't even tell your parents but expect "society" to read your mind and jump to your defense against the culprit. And if you are like most posters here, you will only bring up the issue to counter other people's narratives. |
zed7:You should be able to defend your points as a "strong man". You chose to run instead, an action which belie your strength facade. |
Godoverevery:Care to share your reasoning and research sources? This a thread to let female folks understand the hate towards them now isn't something that just pop up from nowhere but more psychological which is cause by neglect from society and harsh laws toward men. What hate are you talking about? There have always been gender-based hatred and it is even much better now. Care to list those "harsh laws" for men only? This is one the most disjointed piece I ever read. I can't even place the message or the intended target. Mothers hate their son, UNICEF only for girls and threat of more hate if activist don't do what you want. |
zed7:Feminism was and is embraced by men. If it isn't, no single law would ever be made to correct imbalance. Perhaps, you need an history lesson. |
Favfables1:Can you link to one of these "protect the girl child" campaign you hear a lot? |
iKwaffy:Which part of the country are you from? Your mum is strange if her reaction isn't based on distrust based on your past. When it comes to finance, majority traditional parents overwhelmingly empower their male child while they wait for the husband to help the female. |
Empty rhetoric. |
Angela62:Can you list the unique challenges faced by your son? |
