Since none of the victims of the alleged freeze have official confirmation, we can only speculate as to the real reason or cause. Moreover, this government is confused and uncoordinated and many camps take independent decisions on their own.

Sharia law has been in the constitution since 1960. It is part of customary law.

Let us get something clear. While the cleric is a religious bigot, customary law is not the constitution. It is a great dishonour to have Sharia, a religious law be part of the constitution of a secular republic. An abnormality does not become normal even if it has been the case since the beginning of time.
