You can kill someone by locking him or her on the car without ventilation. You were a live witness. Davido and his crew were jealous of Tagbo's extraordinary drinking ability that they had to kill him. |

drdanny: Asphyxiation is not uncommon in persons who are dead drunk. What the report has not clearly said is WHAT caused the Asphyxiation... Was it aspiration of his vomit or was he strangled ot was there Oxygen deprivation from either CARBON Monoxide inhalation or suffocation? We need more info... This is an interesting case Thank you for this comment, so many people have concluded it was murder because they thought that asphyxiation can only result from strangulation. |

Immatex: There exist here a strong case against Davido that should put him behind bars for a good time.
He is capable of manslaughter whether voluntary or involuntary is the judge's to decide.
However if this young man cared a little about life, this guy won't be dead now.
There's no gain in the life Davido and his cronies promote. It will lead to death which ever way.
Society needs less of Davido and his like. The State must make an example of him. Only then can future deaths be curtailed. Ignorance at his peak! There is no case against Davido. Alcohol is not cutlass or gun even if it were Tagbo used it on himself. Are you not aware that an adult has the right to drink as much as he wants? When does witnessing a drinking group of people becomes a crime? If you just think for a moment, you won't have typed the rubbish you posted. |

Taking large sum of money from the south to fund their unproductive and parasitic regions and to fund the luxurious lifestyles of Abuja politicians. But the yoro muslim - loyal and humble slaves of the caliphate would rather insult the hell out of him and report him to authorities. I wonder if these people are cursed. I just don't get it. Davido and his friends kept telling everyone through hungry bloggers that dude died from drugs and drinks over dose, imagine tarnishing the image of supposed dead friend by tagging him as a drug addict and alcoholic because he's not alive to defend himself, when in actual fact y'all killed him either by negligence or direct cutoff of his oxygen route . If Davido and his crew planted drugs and alcohol on their dead friend to ruin his reputation, may they never have peace. Nonsense! May we never have friends like Davido and his crew. SMH for you. Ask any Igbo man, Phd or enlightened people no reach dis one. Again, you miss the point, a human(babies included) is not a property to be owned. I admit that unenlightened people are hysterical about "consequence" to the point that they sacrifice their lives happiness for oppressive culture. There is a clear difference between been civilised and going to school. Being a professor or PhD holder does not excuse someone from holding archaic and superstitious believes. I remember when Stella died and her kinsman were threatening OBJ with lethal consequence if he refuse to return her corpse. OBJ went ahead and nothing happened. If he was one of those lilly-livered men, he would have been forced to abide by useless cultural norms. I still remember a local story of a commissioner who lost her very young husband, if she were a nobody, she would have been forced to drink "corpse water" to prove her innocence. But on sighting her with her security details, none of the elders could raise the issue of shaving and drinking filthy water. You either choose to be bound by culture or not. |

onyeawka80: oga pls wat u do u mean by legally married? Afta d bride price has been paid tnks Is bride price the money you pay to buy a wife? If yes, it is illegal to purchase another human being. But if bride price is just a symbolic gesture to signify marriage such as wedding ring. Then it doesn't matter whether a man is willing to accept it back or not. |
Celebrities › Re: Mimi Orjiekwe: Charles Billion Refusing Bride Price Refund, I Can’t Stay Married by ivolt: 9:53am On Oct 11, 2017 |
ochukwuma15: I don't understand what you mean by not being legally married sir? But in Igbo land, once a bride price is paid, you're legally married. Now what we should be discussing is how to opt out from such marriage.
In Igboland, the easiest way to end a marriage is when the family of one party successfully returns a bride price paid by the other party's family. Or when the party that pays the bride price successfully collects it back from the party they paid it to.
Now using mini orjiekwe's issue as a case study, the family of billions or bullion will be dragging their feet in collecting the bride price they paid on mimi because the current arrangement favours their son.
Now since the current arrangement does not favour mimi, which necessitated her wanting to opt out from the union, what she should do is to have a meeting with her family, in that meeting, she will tell her family why she wants to end the marriage.
Once her family sees that their daughter is not happy in her marriage and that there is need for the marriage to end, they will now initiate the concept of bride price return.
I will stop here, if any body wants to know how a bride price is returned in Igboland, the person should indicate and I will continue from there. diva90: I understand your point of view but don't forget that we are not westerners. The traditional part is the most important.
In igbo culture she cannot re-marry traditionally until that bride price is returned. So technically she cannot just 'ignore it' unless she has no plans to be with another man. With this arrangement, a man can keep a woman married indefinitely by simply refusing to take back the bride price. Human's weren't made for culture, culture was made for humans. This is why I advised the woman to ignore the irresponsible husband. If he thinks he owns the wife, let him head to court to make his claim. Isn't it unjust that a man can hold his estranged wife in perpetual bondage while he is free to do as he wish? |

Context matters. If the man is the type that rules the house with iron fist just because he is the provider. He doesn't deserve to be the head if he loses his financial power.
However, for a relationship built on love and mutual respect this question doesn't even arise because nobody is being "ruled" in the first place and the couple can easily adjust and cooperate on issues as they have always done.
As you lay your bed, you must lie on it. |

The bride is beautifully ugly and looks surprised she is getting married to such a confused man who doesn't seem to understand that, his life is just about to be crippled.
This kind of wedding will be full of mourners and sympathizers instead of jubilants.
This is a hopeless hope situation!
I can't wish them HML, because sadly happiness is going to be very far from them!

The first and most effective step in subjugating a people is making them hate their culture and identity. Islam and Christianity have almost succeeded in this regard.
We all know that there were some toxic culture that needs to be eliminated but that does not mean that ALL the aspect of culture must be destroyed because some parts are not palatable. |
