I watch it everyday you can hardly hear this idiot called BBC and useless British govt say anything good about Nigeria or any Africa country.

tsdarkside: what is their not to learn from north korea??....dont you know its better people fear you than respect you??...if you think respect ever worked, then why is america building even more nuclear weapons ?...
can you explain that to me ?? We are talking about corruption here not nuclear weapons, respect or fear or leader, you can never solve a problem by muddling up issues, the same reason we keep going in circle. Corruption is tackled by enforcing existing laws not ineffective showmanship, because the showman will eventually pass away while competent institutions remain. Corruption only comes up in North korea when a subordinate becomes power hungry. All you want is an abacha type of government where corruption didn't exist. |

tsdarkside: thats why we need death sentence...nigeria should learn from china and north korea... We can learn from china but not north korea. Corruption doesn't exist in north Korea(unless you fall out with dear leader) because saying that corruption exists can get you a death sentence. For China, it is not the death sentence that minimizes corruption, it is the successful prosecution of accused because at the end of the day most corrupt officials are never executed, they just get locked up for good. |

DutchBruh: Nigerians need to do now is form a network in the various overseas countries so once they get any information on these looters of our commonwealth visiting these countries they can be disgraced and heckled. Any politician who is afraid of disgrace won't steal in the first place. If you have met any of those guys in person, you will understand what I mean. Such network will be as effective as US criticism of North Korea. My point is we need real consequences not superficial displays. |

NUC should stop lowering the bar for our lecturers. |

The same UK that is facilitating Kanu and his IPOB terrorism in Nigeria.
The same UK that lured PMB in January only to poison him in London.
This fool should look around him ask why he appears to the only black face in the entire venue.
The idiot is there to provide the racist white devil Theresa May to appear friendly approachable to Nigerian back home whilst she has her immigration squads hunting Nigerians down like criminals to be deported.

GreyLaw: It's extremely easy to gain access to these people.
They board same trains with their citizens, eat same food, drive same cars, go to same schools and, most importantly, use same hospitals with them.
Now, beam your searchlight on Nigeria and everything is the opposite. Buhari would tell you his children are abroad "because I can afford it," and then Lai Moh'd would tell you that you have no right to know of your president's health status or the amount of the nation's money burnt in presidential treatments.
Come near the president and Buratai would send soldiers to come kill you. I think these European LEADERS know that power is transient, something our RULERS never recognise.
I feel bad that I am angry and have to criticise our president a lot these days, but it seems I cannot help it. We have to keep talking until they hear us. And repent! The kind of leaders we have are those that we love to have! Any Nigerian leaders that consistently exhibit the traits you mentioned will be seen as weak, incompetent, jobless and unpresidential. Most Nigerian loves and revere leaders that can put up a show of force with 50 escort vehicles and 100 heavily armed Mopols. About 150 years ago, we still had kings who were seen as gods, so that a godlike appearance and conduct for leaders is still deeply ingrained in most Nigerians psyche. |

Terrorism: the unofficial or unauthorized use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. Now you can understand why Evans or Anini are just criminals while Shekau is a terrorist. It is not the religion, it is the intent that make someone a terrorist. |

Not all phones IMEI can be altered unless you work for some high-tech company or secret service in which case you don't even need the stolen phone. |

Education › Re: Where Are Our First-class Graduates And Professors? by ivolt: 9:43am On Oct 02, 2017 |
@Rapmoney, this is a very good question.
The answer lies in Nigeria's priority. As you know that scientific development is largely dependent on money We don't have enough money for food and health(allegedly), so R&D is relegated to the back room.
What is even surprising is the mindset of many Nigerians even the learned ones, I can see some posters already blaming Britain for the problem we face when the same britain colonised singapore, malaysia and South Africa, yet some seemingly literate people think that britain hid the "true education" from Nigerians.
Until our schools start encouraging thinking instead of linguists-only and the government stop mismanagement, the first class and professors will continue to do what their predecessors are doing, collecting salaries and getting by while blame continues to be passed around. |
