stations that are enjoyed by an average viewer.
Their only advantage is the data subscription which only interests educated young
adults.

If they can deliver what they promised, they will get some slice of the pie but I am
not so sure they can due to regulatory restrictions.

Remember, there are still subscriptions as low as #1000 on other cable TV.

I blame NCC!!! I have always wondered about the rationale behind granting the sole broadcast right of any tv content to one company. This was what killed hitv. Can't NCC make it open to every company thereby eliminating monopoly? Dstv has bought almost every right to all the good stations leaving other companies with nothing. Is it crime if all companies have individual rights to broadcast EPL,Laliga,champions league,other sports and same programmes at the same time? Let them only compete with broadcast quality,service quality,affordability. NCC needs to wake up!!!

I don't think NCC is in charge of selling global satellite's rights.
