Snow84:
Where will you find a woman standing on her feet in Nigeria? If you see a woman here with money, she is either inherited it, her business set up by a man, or the tiny percentage of them that made it through the academic prowess. Most of these women in juicy parastatals and agencies of government got there because the family members were there.

If a woman's rising is visible to all, know that she has been in a serious relationship for years with her equally wealthy peers. Some of these made women had parents that propelled their careers and they consequently became rich... propelled their career in the sense that some of them attended Ivy League schools. Now a man that made it at 40 will be scouting for teenage girls from rich families who are mostly not taken. If you see a successful woman in those top positions, she has been dating a guy she met in famous secondary schools they attended. Now your mother is a medical doctor in Europe, not a cursed nation like Nigeria (even Nigerian doctors live like kings), she is in good shape to ensure you also become a doctor, and then you think poor men are after rich women because of benefits, and that rich men should go for rich women. If a rich man is married to a poor, well-behaved woman, the world will feel their impacts in their corner of the world - I'm not talking of impacts like the kangaroo charity foundations they form up one side of this nation and down the other. They would receive foreign aids in the name of charity foundation and use same to enrich themselves.

Well, we are wired differently. The hearts of some of us beat because we want to see changes in the world of man.
Is there any problem with having an influential parent ?
Most kids of poor parents, regardless of gender end up being poor
in life.
It is easy to fantasize about a guy who made it all himself
without help but that is a script for hollyhood not reality.
The real story is usually murky.

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Forgives Thief Who Broke Into Church Office To Steal (Photos) by ivolt: 9:15am On Jun 12, 2017
The ROI on "forgiving" the thief is obviously high.
The pastor took a wise financial decision while
parading the thief before the whole world.

Celebrities › Re: Atorise: "My Wife Has Forgiven Me For Fathering A Child Outside Marriage" by ivolt: 9:08am On Jun 12, 2017
Daboomb:
Its not about Money (or not having it) otherwise, Women who are financially independent wont be forgiving their Husbands.
Its about whether she wants to work it out with HIM or whether she WANTS OUT of it.
It depends largely on money, "forgiving" cheating husband is a must for dependent women
while the same cannot be said for financially independent women.
Research studies and plenty anecdotes have confirmed the position
that dependent women take more bullshit from their husbands than
their independent counterpart, the men knows this and some take
advantage of the situation.

BTW: if you know his wife, you would agree that she is not completely dependent on him for sustenance (Educated and Earning income). She can survive, if she chose to opt out of the marraige.
Other issues like safety (emotional and psychological) and security of the children is also a consideration though most foolish people in such situation, think only about themselves first and foremost,
you can't call them foolish because you are not in their shoe. Anybody not thinking
about themselves can be regarded as a living dead.

only to come back in later years to cry over the same thing, when the children have suffered for such breakup and become 'something else'.
This is mere conjecture unless you have data to back yourself up.
You see there is a clear difference between abandoned kids and
kids from divorced home. Never mix them up.

The common denominator to some kids who become "something else"
is that they lack parental support and are usually raised in extreme poverty
not because they are from a divorced home.

Any single psychologically balanced parent can raise healthy kids who
will be useful to the society.

This succinctly explains what has become of our moral fibre.
For the avoidance of doubt, I'll seek to educate a myopic mind.
That he fathers a child out of wedlock doesn't make me or anyone else better than him or make him less of a man. No rational human being would judge him on that premise. No.
But his conduct as an entertainer is what counts; for which he's been found wanting time and again.
Have you wondered why he was nicknamed "ATABESE"(simply being interpreted as "someone who soothes a itching vagina"wink?
Oh! You don't know, right?

Ask questions next time dude.
You fail to ask yourself the most important question which is: who is a gospel singer ?
Many of you make this mistake and argue blindly without a firm position.
Does being promiscuos disqualify someone of being a gospel singer ?

Gospel artiste, Lanre Teriba aka Atorise, says his wife has forgiven his worst trespass against her; fathering a child outside their marriage.
Atorise, who has reputation of being promiscuous, said those castigating him are not better in a recent interview he granted.

Dear OP, please make wide research and consultations before coming online to post whatever.
Atorise IS NOT a Gospel musician. A fact he has since confirmed. Okay?
Except of course, you're high on some cheap shepe.
He is a gospel musician, fathering a child out of wedlock doesn't invalidate that.

What award? What homies? Are you imbibed?

Listen asshat, you have a faulty standpoint that is based on untruths. You are simply butt hurt because you were called out for your "alternative facts".

Not all of us on here are uncouth pimple faced dweebs.

Comment based on facts and truth, if you don't, and chose to add salacious hoohaa to titillate your readership, then you might expect a response from me. Period.

I long suspected you are one of the BLM victims.
Typically unrestrained, naive with victim mentality

You are sadly mistaken that I'm trying to change your standpoint, not at all. I'm just diluting your wrong and incorrect opinion so others can see that you're full of kaka.
Not really, you appear to be one of those immature kids who want
to prove a point by force even when they are lost in argument.

In fact anyone who sees your post will be more convinced of my standpoint.

Thank you for showing that police brutality is normal and acceptable even in advanced
countries, now run off and flaunt your award to your homies.

I'll give you just one example and leave you alone to wallow in your misinformation. The USA does not prosecute all policemen that are involved in shootings. End of story.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/02/baton-rouge-shooting-justice-department-will-not-charge-police/

"Baton Rouge shooting: Justice Department 'will not charge police officers in killing of Alton Sterling'"

The Justice Department has reportedly decided not to bring charges against two white Baton Rouge police officers in the death of a black man whose fatal shooting was captured on mobile phone video, fueling protests in Louisiana's capital and beyond.......
You may bring up a million examples, it doesn't change my
standpoint on my initial post. It takes more than literacy to read
and comprehend.

When you look like a criminal, anything can happen.
However, I refuse to believe that the only evidence
used in convicting him was his look, if that is the case
his lawyers should be disbarred for being incompetent.
