Hope Uzodinma was awarded the contract t9 dredge Calabar port but he disappeared with the money and today he is Governor...

Our system rewards fantastically corrupt politicians...

I think the issue of the port goes beyond building them. Shipping lines don't want to hear any other port apart from Tincan and Wharf, and maybe Lekki.

It's just like International travel. Enugu is an International airport, but how many airlines wan go there?

Both Candidate and his running mate share same Ticket, same fate. It shouldn't have matter which of them attended the event but Agenda must agend cos its BAT.

David Lyon lost cos of his Deputy, that shows both Candidate and running mate are a single Entity.
I am not bothered if he shows up.

I hope he stays absent as much as he can. He must have done some de-marketing for me yesterday. Some open minded people may begin to have doubts that Shettima is the man behind the mask.

The news today is that Tinubu isn't fit. That's what his absence is doing

If he won't show up for rallies, the better.

Your last line though, whether you dey cuss me I know no. I've clearly said it that none of us is a Saint, thus I'm claiming to be one.

Peace Accord signing is simply a ceremonial Gathering. It has never worked even for once. Violence would still happen, Losers would still challenge Results at the Court.... so what's important with the Jamboree event?
My last line means "After we finish running, we would measure our distance"

At least, we know who saw the importance of the Peace accord between BAT and Shettima

Coz no one is supporting here means he can't win? It means he's never a Threat hence we shouldn't be bothered?

We should rather keep cussing BAT and OBI day and Night here? Funnily we no longer care discussing issues again.
Shebi you said BAT will win? Why are you bothered about Atiku? I am not bothered about Atiku because you said BAT will win.

And I think the double standards is much.

I can imagine if Obi had means the Peace PACT signing. You would have flooded here with all tweets and reasons why he did.

But a major event with all presidential aspirants,
and BAT was missing, only to show us a picture with Bisi Akande.

Let's Keep lying to ourselves that he will perform wonders by ruling from a WhatsApp chat.

Let's keep lying to ourselves that a Presidential seat doesn't need presence

I didn't call him a hypocrite cos he's not supporting my Candidate. Please read the post again brother.

Why none of us cares about Atiku and what's happening in PDP? I call everyone hypocrites cos we really don't care that much about Naija, very obvious, even on this Thread.

Cos if indeed we care, at least 10 pages should have been burnt already on discussing PDP!
Point out one single soul here supporting Atiku.

Then I'll swallow my L, and admit everybody is a hypocrite.

I don't have any valid reason.

I also feel he should have done and dusted it in the first 4 years.

But if the project was started in 2014, and he left 2015, i don't see why I should drag him to complete it when it cannot be finished in a year.

That's just my point. I'm not holding any pressers for him

Some of you have aged parents or grandparents

You don't let them stress themselves. You don't allow then do anything stressful. You keep them at home and make sure you pay their bills.

Even when they feel like doing tasks that they are used to, you frown at it. You ban them from going to farms, streams and only allow them to attend events and celebrations.

But Tinubu (who is old enough to be our parent and grandparent) is fit to rule and be responsible for the future of the largest black nation in the universe, despite knowing he has health challenges.

And then to defend it, you use Sadio Mane's concussion.

GEJ no try at all...There's no excuse why we didn't have functional seaports in the SS and SE and the 2nd Nigeria Bridge during GEJ's tenure right from when Yaradua died to the 4 years he spent as President...That period was when the price of oil was a record high...

If GEJ had a track record of starting and finishing projects I wouldn't be so harsh on him but why make many promises you can't keep?

Agenda for what GEJ used his own mouth to say he will do? If he knew he couldn't complete the 2NB within his first term why make such a promise in the first place? It's not like Jonathan was a JJC who just joined government when he made that statement. He had been VP for at least 3 plus years before he became president so he should have had a fair idea of how long projects of that nature take.

You promised to build a house within a year I don't want to know if after 11 months you're laying foundation.
I am not defending GEJ as a person, or his tenure.

I am just saying if we will look at that matter with facts, we cannot drag GEJ for not finishing it, when he had less than a year to stay.

As for your other point, that's a different matter, of which I agree with you on that.

I am not making any excuse for him. I have not.

I am only stating the fact. Its there for everyone to see.

The project began 2014. He handed over in 2015. How on God's green earth will you blame him for not finishing it, when the contractor needs 3 years plus to finish it?

The usual agenda was GEJ ruled for 6 years and didn't finish 2NB, whereas, the project began 2014. These are the facts, my brother. Let's not shy away from it

Buhari is flagging of Nigeria Air after 6 years. It doesn't mean he wasn't doing anything since.

The 2nd Niger Bridge was flagged off in March 2014

GEJ handed over in May 2015.
