This is commendable |

wirinet: That's works out to about N15.4 million to refurbish each car (looks like Toyota Camry 2015 model). So how much is a brand new car? I really don't understand this maths
They said they spent #65 million to refurbish 30 vehicles...
How 15 million take show for your own? |

Politics › Re: Drone Photos Of Benin Stadium, Secretariat Buildings In Edo by izzou(m): 12:22pm On Aug 02, 2019 |
sundayerhun: Yes, Obaseki is making an impressive run with infrastructure in Edo State.
I was born in Benin, and I've lived there for close to three decades. I've also lived in Lagos, and presently in Port Harcourt.
So I know what Benin was like these past years, and I know first-hand the job he's been doing.
I posted drone images of the Government Buildings and the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium. Beyond these, he is building inner roads everywhere, and to me, it is impressive.
It's impressive because this was lacking. We elected him to do so, and he is doing it.
Everywhere in the world, the people commend their leaders when they do good. So you don't have to be unnecessarily woke about it.
From Ugbowo where I attended the University, to Upper Sakponba where my father's house to, to Eyaen where I live(d), to Oredo where most businesses are headquartered, Obaseki's projects are visible.
I appreciate that.
I know what this city used to be like.
Thank you. There should be a difference when someone is "doing good" and someone is "doing his job"
Your boss wouldn't commend you for resuming at work. You are supposed to come to work
Have a splendid day, sire |
Politics › Re: Drone Photos Of Benin Stadium, Secretariat Buildings In Edo by izzou(m): 11:55am On Aug 02, 2019 |
DLuciano: Agreed, but past administrators that refused to work and stashed Edo money away, what did the people do to them? Was any jailed, killed or stoned? The question should be "If the people had a chance to do all these, will they do it? "
If Igbenedion walked into a public gathering, will they question him? Or will they cheer him up?
I can't say a security man was impressive for opening a gate I can't say a cashier was impressive for lodging my cash I can't say a driver was impressive for driving from point A to point B.
The problem with Nigeria is the people. Tomorrow, when he seeks reelection, he will list the "Reconstruction of a government building" as an achievement..... As if he did the government and his people a favor |

pocohantas: Don't blame us, we are Nigerians living in Nigeria. Things should be the standard, are like a wonder of the world to us. Lol
We should start acting like the eldest son of Africa.
Whats impressive about a governor reconstructing a government's property?
 |
Politics › Re: Drone Photos Of Benin Stadium, Secretariat Buildings In Edo by izzou(m): 11:02am On Aug 02, 2019 |
As much as this is impressive, let's stop making it look like a governor is doing his people a favor. It's mediocre, to me
Which one is "Obaseki is working"?
Who was supposed to reconstruct it before? The people?
He simply did what he was voted in for. He was supposed to work. |

They must be Lagosians. People that spend two-third of their lives in traffic. So, they move about with the basics.
Izzu, I hope your car is not like this? Any man that treats his car like this, wouldn't take care of his woman. He will watch her shock absorbers go bad, yet he'll climb every night. He won't stop till the whole suspension parts give way...
There's nothing that pisses me off like stuffing your car like that and pasting stickers everywhere

BMedia: You keep pretending not to understand.
You need to also develop that partnership with the more populous regions. You're the ones that wants the Presidency though their votes.
You cannot achieve such by being offensive to others. Simple. So it is fair enough for the West and North to rule Nigeria at intervals, right? |

How can I marry a poor ancestor? What did he spend his youth doing, if he didn't make good money?
Your sister should better go look for a job and fend for herself. Maybe her husband too
Nonsense and alfah males. Ancestors start from 55

Altern8: If that is what you can infer from all I have said, no problem. Good morning. Thats all you all keep saying from the beginning
I stated that other regions should be allowed to contest to strengthen unity. Both parties have Easterners and North Central senators. What will it take for APC or PDP to present one from each region?
But you all keep saying numbers and all that, when it is glaring nobody can win without the support from the north.
And I'll still ask you all again...Is it okay if only two tribes keep rotating it between themselves? You all keep deflecting...
Have a blessed day |
