I am very disappointed that Musa s being hacked like this. Musa was wasteful in front of goal no doubt about it. But for me He was among the top 3 best player on the Night, He was the most active and created the most threats. He created 2 of the goals we scored. Musa in total still contributed more to this game than Ideye and Ujah combined |
Diasporan: Brazil is not really a spectacular team.Even with their star studded side they don't look impressive. The SE AFCON team will defeat themI kind of felt the same way. |
Ajasnoop: Ogenyi Onazi is more of an N.C. than an S.E. he is actually from Benue StateEthnicity na hin go kill una. All i know is that this guy is the one that makes our midfield tick, without him we are in trouble. |
nissparts: If you had the 0420 beforehand it will be back within the next 1 month or less.I won't be surprised if the code returns, the last time i resetted my ECM it took it over 3 weeks to resurface. But my major worries were not to reduce pollution (which is the primary essence of a CAT), but to get power back into my car. I still plan to replace my CAT, to an Highflow Magna CAT, when I can afford it; I am sure I would get additional power back to my vehicle. In the mean time I am going to experiment with changing my Spark Plugs to brand new OEM ones. I plan to order them, because I guess there is no where you can get original OEM plugs in Naija. |
fineworker: bad news for Nigerians hoping for a change only to get the same product in a new branded package. My heart is broken. If this assertion turns out to be true, then it spells doom. |
Ralphjoe: too bad, onazi has been ruled out of the confederation cup... No good striker on ground, bad things are happening to SE Ralphjoe: too bad, onazi has been ruled out of the confederation cup... No good striker on ground, bad things are happening to SEThe absence of Onazi just dropped my expectations of this team by half. Onazi was the real engine room of our midfield, He defended well, and was also able to distribute the ball, He really complemented Mikel and made him look good. Now that He.is.injured I believe our midfield will be weaker. |
sultaan: The downstream O2 tells you if the cat is bad, you the scan tool to eliminate O2,in your case you should try cleaning the cat first since it is the cheapeat fix right now. Look at the vidoesFinally, i did what I should have done a long time ago, but kept procastinating. I CHANGED my Air filter, and now I can feel my car has got more power, perhaps it wasn't my catalytic.converter causing the loss of power afterall. I resetted my ECM, and at the moment my car has not thrown any code. I will observe it over the next 2 weeks before my final verdict. |

sultaan: This question is for all to answer before doing anything then we can all improve our collective knowledge. To the best of my knowledge it is the back O2 sensor that signals that error code. From all i have read it is either ur O2 sensors are bad or the CAT is bad, on many American online fora, u re advised to change O2 sensors first because they are cheaper and easier to fix. |
I may be wrong but personally i feel south east will be better of remaining with Nigeria. Igbos have always queried what they are benefitting from Nigeria, let me remind them that the huge allocation they receive from FG is largely responsible for whatever their gov. do. Also Igbos benefit a lot from their freedom to do business in all Nigerian cities. without Nigeria things could be harder for Igbo businesses. |
This is the best team we have at the moment. All we need to do is support them. It wouldi be great to beat spain but the odds are against us. our midfield is great, but our attack is not so good. I would be satisfied with out best performance. |
This should not be treated as an isolated event. The fulanis are popular for their retalatory attacks. Herds men have been repeatedly attacked in that region whether justifiably or not. Govt. Needs to intervene in a maner that both groups would feel fairly treated. We can all scream blue murder now, but where are the screams when the fulani herds men are attacked Fulani herds men are not blood suckers, who would just go out to kill people for the fun of it. There must.be a reason behind it |
diehard: The check engine light came up on m car too, a lexus ES300. Scanned it and this same code came on, but on bank 2. Not sure where bank 2 is. Somebody advised me to change the catalyst converter.I read somewhere that the back O2 sensor are the ones that actually send signals used to determine the efficiency and status of the Catalytic converter, so if the O2 sensors are malfunctioning, they can actually send out the wrong signals. SOME MECHANICS ADVise you check out your O2 sensors first before changing the CAT. So I found a place where they use a spectrometer to analyze the O2 sensors and determine if they are functioning well or not; I also plan to get them to check My fuel pump and CAT too. The place looks tech.; it is in KADUNA (CarCraft). I will keep you guys posted. Hoping to do it soon. |
planet: The issue is there are people who sit on Nairaland with the sole job of rubbishing Islam and Muslims on any matter. They talk about wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. who planted the seed? the christian west. the Christian West caused the two major world wars that claimed millions of lives. In the face of all the insults Xtians keep pouring out on Muslims, we have to continue to remain resolute and show them the true Islam. Many of them know next to nothing about Islam, but thanks to the media and some fanatic xtians many of them have been made to believe that Islam is all about Killing xtians;of course no thanks the Muslim-Extremist too. We all as muslims owe it a duty to show and preach Islam to xtians. Christianity as it is in Nigeria today; (without having any intention to be rude) is simply man made fantasy. Many xtians are beginning to realise it too, the emptiness in the current evangelical messages are becoming more obvious; and there is no other better time than for we Muslims to help the christians see the light. |
spark@wil:I do hope that someday you would meet him. But let me quickly respond to your question. Firstly, let me make a clarification; that the worship of Allah (SWT) did not start with prophet Muhammad, but goes way back to the time of Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus etc; the Prophet was only a messenger and a reminder bringing people back to the Path of Allah. Jesus, Moses, David (AS) etc all preached the Oneness of God (Allah) and of course remnants of their teachings still remained with the Arabs at that time even though majority were Idol worshipers. Also in existence amongst the Arabs were jews whom referred to the only one God as Allah also. Neither Islam nor the Quran is oblivious of this as this Ayah in the Quran states: “And if you (O Muhammad) ask them: ‘Who has created the heavens and the earth,’ they will certainly say: ‘Allaah’” [Luqmaan 31:25] {An indication that the people of that time knew of Allah} “And those who take Awliyaa’ (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): ‘We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allaah’” [al-Zumar 39:3] {An indication that the people knew about Allah but believed that they needed to reach him through the idols.} I hope I have been of help; you can post any further questions or ask for clarification on any matter. |
nissparts: Yes, hollowing out is a viable option. Just make sure no exhaust leaks are present after the job is done so other codes dont come up.60k?! Men, hollow all the way o. The crux of the matter is where and how are you going to check if your fuel pump is ok. The best I guess the Mechanic will do is pull out the hose and check out how well it gushes it out. Do you think that method is accurate. |
Sanusi's response will determine how true these allegations are. If goes all out to file a lawsuit against Premium times for defamation, then I may want to believe it is a lie. If He keeps quiet; then that may be an acceptance of guilt |
slimmy05: I don't think you're cultured. Why would you write in caps, that means you're just like your brothers, brainwashed muofo's. Who's feeding you with such news, let the person post a tape showing that, everyone with their biased claims. Learn to write appropriately, you are shouting too much and might loose your senses which will land you in Yaba left. This cannot stop the NA from doing its job. They are well trained and would deal with any unscrupulous elements who call themselves boko boys or those spying and rendering them shelter. You are not worth wasting time on. If you can't state your position or argue out your points without resulting to insults, then that really shows the kind of person you are. |
Tyche: Niqqa stop typing in bold, it makes your post unreadable.Ok. I didn't even watch the video; I was just talking from the facts I knew already. May God Protect all the innocent civilians. |
nissparts: You cannot have an 0420 code for a faulty a/f sensor. No 4 cylinders. Ok I will give it a shot then; but is your opinion about hollowing the CAT out still the same. I.E Do you still maintain it is ok to hollow the CAT out using a defouler with it. I think I'd rather try that out before purchasing a new one. If you have a quote for a new CAT for Honda Accord 2003 LX 4 Cylinder, preferably a MAGNA brand. Kindly send it to me. |
viruz007: And I agree with you... But not in the heat of battle... That's why we have military tribunals... Datz wen all d watchdogs can bare their teeths not when people r risking their lives... Yes u might argue that is shld b done now to mitigate it happening but like I said earlier war is not as simple as black & white. If u doubt me ask Japan abt hiroshima & nagasaki...IF THE MEDIA DOESN'T PUT PRESSURE ON THE MILITARY TO ADHERE TO BEST ETHICS OF WAR WHILE THE WAR IS ONGOING, THEN THE DEED WOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE AT THE END OF THE WAR. AND WHAT USE WOULD IT BE THEN. THE PEOPLE WOULD ALREADY HAVE BEEN KILLED! OF WHAT USE WOULD IT BE THEN THIS IS THE TIME TO CALL THE MILITARY TO ORDER, WE NEED TO TELL THEM TO HUNT DOWN BOKO-HARAM MEMBERS AS VIGOROUSLY AS THEY CAN, BUT TO ALSO SHOW MORE CONCERN FOR CIVILIAN LIVES. |
Tyche: This video is just about words, it reveals nothing in reality. It is an attempt at propaganda, but poorly executed.PERHAPS IF THAT YOUR FRIEND'S MOTHER WERE TO FALL A VICTIM TO THE BULLETS OF THE NIGERIAN MILITARY JUST BECAUSE THEY HAPPEN TO FIND THEMSELVES IN BORNO AT A WRONG TIME; THEN YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND IT IS NOT A PROPAGANDA. I AM NOT A DOOM WISHER, BUT PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO PUT THEMSELVES IN THE POSITION OF THOSE WHOM KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BOKO-HARAM BUT HAVE BEEN GUNNED DOWN BY SOLDIERS BECAUSE THEY HAPPEN TO BE CLOSE TO THE SCENE OF A BOKO-HARAM ATTACK. NOTHING EXCITES ME MORE THAT SEEING BOKO-HARAM MEMBERS GUNNED DOWN, BUT THE METHODOLOGY OF THE MILITARY ALSO IMPLIES MANY CIVILIANS ALSO FALL VICTIM. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE PRAYING SHOULD BE REVISED. |
viruz007: As for the poster who said he believes this cuz a colleague friend got killed, am sorry for ur loss... It's a known fact that u dnt kill a military personnel in a no war state and expect all to be well. In the US, u dnt kill a police officer, and expect to be free. U have just signed ur death warrant cuz dey will kill u and make it look like an accident. Dis people r family to each other hence y dey r very brutal wen u kill 1 of their own.YEAH, I AGREE WITH YOU THE SITUATION IN THOSE STATES MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR THE SOLDIERS. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THESE THINGS DON'T HAPPEN OR ARE NOT HAPPENING. I REMEMBER A FRIEND IN MAIDUGURI NARRATING TO ME HOW A WHOLE STREET WAS SET ON FIRE BY THE MILITARY, AFTER PRACTICALLY KILLING EVERYONE THERE. YOU CAN CALL IT COLLATERAL DAMAGE, BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN IT NEVER HAPPENED. IT HAPPENS AND IT IS ONLY RIGHT FOR THE MEDIA TO PUT PRESSURE ON THE MILITARY TO LIMIT IT. |
ONLY PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CONTINUE LIVING IN FOOLS PARADISE WOULD BELIEVE THAT MANY CIVILIANS ARE NOT CASUALTIES IN THE OFFENSIVE ASSAULT BY THE MILITARY, WHILE THIS COULD BE UNDERSTOOD AS COLLATERAL DAMAGE, IT IS THE DUTY OF THE MEDIA TO PUT PRESSURE ON THE MILITARY TO LIMIT IT. I AM SURE MANY OF THE POSTERS DO IMAGINE THAT MOST OF THE CIVILIAN CASUALTIES WILL BE "ABOKIs" ANYWAY AND HENCE THE DENIAL, WHILE THAT IS VERY TRUE BUT MANY INNOCENT SOUTHERNERS HAVE ALSO FALLEN TO THE BULLETS OF THE SOLDIERS, BECAUSE OF THE PRACTICE OF RETURNING AN ATTACK ON MILITARY PERSONNEL WITH BRUTAL FORCE. I CAN TELL A TRUE LIFE STORY OF A COLLEAGUE'S FRIEND IN MAIDUGURI WHOM WAS EXECUTED BY THE MILITARY FOR BEING AT THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME. A MILITARY PATROL VEHICLE WAS ATTACKED BY BOKO-HARAM SNIPPERS IN A CERTAIN NEIGHBOURHOOD AND AN OFFICER WAS AMONG THE CASUALITIES, WHEN THE MILITARY RETURNED MY COLLEAGUE'S FRIEND WAS UNFORTUNATELY AT A FILLING STATION IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD BUYING FUEL FOR HIS CAR. THE MILITARY CORDONED OFF THE AREA, GOT INTO THE FILLING STATION TOLD THE STATION ATTENDANTS TO MOVE TO ONE SIDE AND OTHERS TO ANOTHER SIDE. ALL OF THE OTHERS WERE MADE TO LIE FACED DOWN AND SHOT. IT IS A TRUE LIFE STORY. |
50calibre: @ Afro connectI am happy when I read from people like you. People who can control their emotions and don't allow sentiments to derail their judgement. Al Jazeera reports many news both pro-government and anti-government news. The same goes for CNN, BBC and the likes. Human rights watch, Amnesty International have all voiced their concerns about the plight of civilians at different times; but because most people are suffering from "ARABOPHOBIA" and "ISLAMOPHOBIA"; they are flaring up against Al-Jazeera, the FG knows this hence they chose to single out Al-Jazeera in their attack. As regards the allegation that Soldiers are killing Civilians; this allegation is very true and anyone who denies this is either not aware of what has been happening in Maiduguri and Yobe or is just plain mischievous. Because of the nature of my work, I am aware of what happens in those places. It is common practice that if a Soldier is attacked in an area; and the military returns to that area, everyone and anyone (especially Youths) they find would be gunned down. The houses in those areas are sometimes burned. A colleague of mine had his friend (a pharmacist) killed in one of these circumstances. People in GoniGora in Kaduna can also testify to this when some youths in that area slaughtered a military officer during the last election crisis, the repercussion was shocking when the military returned; youths were randomly picked and executed. In fact I don't know why anyone would be doubting this story; it happened in ODI Benue State, where a whole Village was practically executed; it just happened in Bama. THOSE WHO ARE ATTACKING AL_JAZEERA SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. |
nissparts: Nothing wrong with your o2 sensors.Thanks.I was actually making plans to change the Catalytic converter, so I took it to the mechanic to remove it. He placed his hand behind my car's exhaust to feel the pressure coming out from the exhaust and concluded the CAT was ok; but I insisted that He should bring it out first; He brought it out and everything inside looked intact, I could even slightly see through the cat (like a pinhole camera see-through). Then I felt I should disconnect the fuse to the A/F sensor and there was a remarkable improvement but after driving it like that for like a month I returned the fuse because the fuel consumption was already hitting my pocket hard; but shortly after I returned the fuse, I could feel the loss of power again, then I concluded the A/F sensor was making the car run lean. Then I removed the fuse again for like a month and the half again, and I was soon reminded of my high gas mileage when I fixed my A/C, then I returned the fuse, and the P0420 code didn't show up for about a month and the loss of power wasn't really felt. But now it has showed up and I now feel loss of power when my A/C is on; on a hot afternoon. Sorry for the long gist, but I wanted to put the problem in the correct perspective. If more guys insist on the CAT, then I would take a leap of faith. |
ola_pluto: Super Eagles XI Vs Mexico....2am tomorrow Live on AITIt would be unfair to expect much from this team. The front line and midfield are strangers to one and other. Perhaps all we should look out for in this game is a promising talent and not any nice performance. Nigerian fans need to realise that other national teams are not sleeping; if other teams keep the bulk of their squad together for over years and we keep changing ours then there is no way we can compete at the highest level. |
From what I have read the P0420 is a common problem in hondas.I am calling out to the gurus (Siena & Co) here, to save me and many others like me. My Car keeps reporting an OBD code P0420 (Catalytic Converter Inefficiency), and in addition my car seems to lose considerable power especially when driving with AC. Also I have poor fuel mileage in the neighborhood of 15 MPG inter-city drive with AC on I disconnected the dash board fuse connected to my A/F sensor and my car seems to have more power and of course consumes even more fuel. That gave me the incline that my A/F sensor and/or O2 sensor may be bad. I have made a lot of research and I have been able to narrow down the Potential problems to bad O2 SENSOR and Air / Fuel ratio sensor OR Bad Fuel Pump OR Bad Catalytic converter. Now, here is where my issue lies: I have got seriously limited budget and hence can not afford to replace all parts especially when there is a chance that only one if faulty. Can you advice me from your experience on similar issues. Also how important is it to replace my Spark plugs, they are not really showing any major signs of under-performance. |
IF ONLY PEOPLE WILL TAKE TIME TO LISTEN OR READ ADEBOWALE MICHAEL'S REASONS FOR DOING WHAT HE DID; THEN YOU WOULD PROBABLY BE ABLE UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS GOING ON IN HIS MIND. HE DID HIS BEST TO JUSTIFY HIS ACTIONS AND PERHAPS HIS REASONS SHOULD ACTUALLY BE THE SUBJECT OF DISCUSSION. I DISAGREE WITH HIS RATIONALE AND BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE BETTER WAYS TO ADDRESS THE OPPRESSION AND VICTIMIZATION BEING WITNESSED BY MUSLIMS. IT IS VERY CONVENIENT FOR NON-MUSLIMS ESPECIALLY IN NIGERIA TO EXPLOIT THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SLANDER ISLAM AGAIN. THE QUESTION WHAT DROVE MICHAEL TOWARDS THE PATH STILL BEGS FOR ANSWERS, I BELIEVE THE ANSWERS LIE IN HIS SELF-PROFESSED JUSTIFICATIONS. |

Mad Cow: Why would he build the refinery in Ondo State?! Does Ondo State have oil wells or does he intend to run pipes from Ondo to the South-South?!Basic Economics; among the factors of Production is "Nearness to Market Place" and "Nearness to raw materials". Ondo appears to fulfill both criteria in a well-balanced way. Ondo is quite close to the Niger-Delta and in fact also own oil wells hence fulfilling the "nearness to raw materials" criterion to a feasible degree, also Ondo is closer to Lagos (the bulk of the market) to a very feasible degree, hence fulfilling the "nearness to market " criterion. Ondo actually turns out to be a well thought out location. |
