Number_One: First off. You met him in church doesnt make him and angel. Devil goes to church too. I saw him yesterday (sunday) ;-)That's a mature mind speaking... Don't think you are different; It is the same case with most women in relationships, their partner (men) will almost always want sex. it is natural; only faith and observing some rules can curb it. If you were a Muslim I would advice avoid any relationship that the talks of marriage are not springing up; avoid being in seclusion with him and let him know your stand about pre-marital sex. |
Nuzo':Thank God we still have people like you on this forum; I wonder if the so called youths of now, have any sense of direction or any sense of strong values on which a nation is to be built. I am often shocked reading some of the comments here!. Why should I care if it is political witch-hunt or not The question that should be on the lips of everyone is: DID SYLVA EMBEZZLE 19bn NAIRA![]() |
I knew he said the words out of anger and they were really out of place for a public officer, however his actions show that He is passionate about development in his state. I commend his courage to ignore the woman's plea in public and enforce the law, when it would have been easier to play the "good governor who showed mercy to a widow" . |
Olamagnifico: Yorubas don dull diaselves tey tey... Oduah was supported and shielded by igbos, Now Lamidos son by Jigawa ppl... Yorubas use to criticize dia sons and dotas when astray especially wen da matter is politicaly inclined... Abeg make we wake up... Atleast if we can't support our ppl, we should remain quiet... HahahahaNo. We would never join in such stupidity and naivety. Of what good is it yo watch our sons steal and keep quiet We are definitely more matured than that. I'd rather say other tribes should learn from us. |
truelove.com:it makes me wanna weep for them.It is unbelievable some of the comments one reads here!. They are not even discussing developmental issues or who promises a better program Or even the achievements of yhe past governor It is so sad. I don't really know much about the candidates, but when i read comments dissing Tinubu, Fashola, Buhari, i begin to wonder if they are also contesting for the election! |
My advice to peeps, take it easy, we would all know the winner by tomorrow noon. May Allah preserve our lives beyond that time, all the best Anambrans, Good night all. |

We seriously appreciate is trust in us cos it's not easy sending 1.3M+ to people you've never met.Nice one.I got a car like this from cotonou too but with fake papers. Can you help with the original custom papers. Pls. give a quote |
Cruise-z:I innitially guessed the priblem would have been with your plugs, but since you just changed them, it can be ruled out. However, are you sure the plugs are original. I just changed my plugs to brand new NGKs that I ordered from Amazon and they made a big difference with the smoothness of my car. Dirty Air filter is another thing that can affect drivability. You cqn also consider cleaning your throttle body, that also helps a great deal especially when they were dirty. |
JaaizTech: [b]From what I have read the P0420 is a common problem in hondas.I am calling out to the gurus (Siena & Co) here, to save me and many others like me.UPDATE: I finally found out what caused the considerable loss of power when driving with AC. It turned out to be my spark plugs. By the time I checked them, they were practically working on last life. Since I changed them the car runs just as good as without the AC and I also noticed less vibration when at stop with gear on "DRIVE". So why didn't I look in the direction of the spark plugs earlier?? I was fooled by the performance of the car without AC. the car started without hesitation in the morning and idled fine; but little did I know that with the current modern cars, the ECU compensates for weaknesses in the spark plugs to a certain degree that you would hardly notice they were worn out. So my advice to Tokunboh car owners is that check out your spark plugs when you purchase your cars because you'd never know how much mileage the previous owner got on them. Lastly only replace your spark plugs with the recommended type either it be tokunboh spark plugs or new ones. |
Cruise-z:Do not fret, i don't think the P1349 code has anything to do with the faint smell of petrol you observed in your oil. The faint smell of petrol in engine oil is quite common, most people whom have bothered to smell their engine oil would observe the same thing. As for this the prime culprit is your spark plug i would advise you to have it checked out immediately and ensure you google for the recommended spark plug. You can find the tokunbo spark plug that matches the recommended type as a temporary replacement. As for the code I would advise you start with the simple things: Change your engine oil and filter first and lets see if you get an improvemnt. |
igbeke: i can see u r already salivating for an opportunity dere. common, y dont u just do away wit hate and admit dis is a hit for oga Gej. dont worry, we wont discriminate anyone wen our glory arrives. This is not a anti-tribe thing; it is an issue of common sense. It is obvious that such an investment in the heavy industry is foolish. And I am sure Mr. president is not foolish, so what i believe is that this is just a siphoning pipe to loot money. And the reasons why this is not a feasible project are not far-fetched: i) Do we possess the technology or man-power to build ships ii) How many ships are being bought in Nigeria to warrant investing in such ventures iii) The demand for cars in Nigeria are insatiable, so if we are so clever, why not start building cars first Why ships![]() iv)In fact mention anything we build in Nigeria, for us to think we can start building ships ![]() v) I just remembered this one, the telecoms mast we see scattered all around are cities are all imported... if there is any better place to start that may be the place, at least mast are just a mass of steel. Bros., unless one wants to deceive himself this one na scam. |
I dey laugh o!. I may be wrong o!, but this appears like a white elephant project whose purpose is to be used mainly as a siphoning pipe to embezzle money. My question are as follows: Is it a company that is building the ship manufacturing facility or the Nigerian Government? Does the Nigerian Government have the technical know how to build ships and have they been building ships before? How much is the projected return-on-investment for this kind of project? Wouldn't it be wiser to invest such money into building a new refinery that can produce petroleum products whose demand is currently insatiable. I just weep for my people... |
I really do not get what the OP is trying to drive at. Nigeria is indeed a diverse place, just like the rest of the world. States were not created in order to sectionalize tribes, but Nigeria was divided into states for administrative purposes. It really doesn't matter that KWARA is grouped into the Northern part, that is just a question of geographical location and has nothing to do with the people living states. Kwara being located in geographical North doesn't imply the people of Kwara can not be Yorubas! We need to stop hating ourselves, because all I can see here is a by-product of the dislike south has for North and vice-versa, but let me tell you that even amongst the Yorubas there is in-fighting, Ife-Modakeke clash is still fresh in memory. Issues exist between the different Yoruba tribes, lump them together as one region and this issues will become pronounced. We should not allow ourselves to be used to sow the seed of discord but the seed of unity; what I would encourage the youths of this Nation to clamour for is rotational Presidency & Governorship. We need a system that gives everyone a sense of belonging. There is ethnic strife within every region: Ijaw Vs Itsekiri; Igbira Vs Igala; Hausa vs Gbagi etc; and the reason for this strife is that the minority groups feel they are being marginalised. A system that ensures every ethnic group has a fair chance of participating at the highest level of Governance is what Nigeria needs now. I would also advise that people travel around this country, only that way would they appreciate the importance of the unity of this country. We have very little to gain dividing, but a lot to lose. |
May Allah grant you quick recovery |
kumbalo: It saddenining and tiring seeing young vibrant nigerians taking sides with political parties when national issues are being discussed. Seun has provided a platform for our voices to be heard, a platform that would have been used objectively in sane climes. But trust my 9ja guys, they start playing the ethno-religious cards. I hope you won't open your profile on NL one day and regret how stup1d and Fuolish you had been. That's if you are lucky to have a change of mentality.God Bless you my Brother. It is so sad reading some comments on nairaland; the so called youths are just damn too naive. The show of narrow mindedness and stupidity is appalling. Objectivity and reasoning is usually thrown to the thrash in exchange for ethno-religious sentiments. I weep for the so called youths of this country. |
CHRISTIANS!!! Why all this hate!. The lady reverted to Islam and it pains you this much! wetin, so much for tolerance!. Millions of Christians have reverted to Islam, Millions will still revert to Islam, MANY REVERT TO Islam everyday all across the world. So if you like keep hating... Allah guides whomever He wills to the path of salvation; I pray He showers the same mercy on you and guide you onto the path of Al-Islam |
Lexusgs430: If you have iridium spark plugs presently, they could last 60,000 miles. But normal spark plugs, would only last 10,000 miles.Best answer. Look up the manual of your car for the recommended replacemnt interval and also the recommended type. |
car-doctor:That is the problem I have with some of Sienna's suggestions, they are sometimes not in tune with the reality in Nigeria. There was a post where He was asking i guy to carry out compression test on his cylinders. I just wondered where the guy was gonna get that done ![]() |
Some of the comments here are disgraceful. Some people have lost their sense of what is moral and what is not. How would a woman selling our privacy for money! be ok. She is dancing nude is in no way any form of art but a sign desperation and low self esteem. That dancer needs help, because she is simply being exploited because of her circumstances. I can not understand what is professional about showing your private part to the whole word in other to amuse them, only to be paid in return for the services!!!. There is very little difference between that and prostitution. |
Oh Allah, I Pray you find me among those whom are grateful of your mercy- Making us born Muslims. Islam is the guidance for peaceful existence, the essence of life. I often tell my self that even if I wasn't a born Muslim, I would probably have not believed in any religion, if I didn't eventually become a Muslim. Alhamdulilahi. |
spade: The richest man in the great China is worth just 14 billion dollars o, so even Dangote pass am! You can now imagine.Bros, there is no doubt that Dangote is enjoying Government's patronage, in fact i believe He is helping looters of public funds e.g OBJ, GEJ etc to invest their stolen wealth. So all that big amount Dangote is worth is probably not his alone. But what trips me about the man is the ability to build a business empire in Nigeria, where so many have failed or have simply run away to invest abroad. it is that ability that i respect him for. The same reason I respect Adenuga, Fola Adeola and the likes; but Dangote still stands out among others. Because unlike so many of the super rich Nigerians, whose wealth was built from having favoured access to Nigeria's Crude Oil, Dangote's wealth originated from the manufacturing industry and He really worked hard for it. |
Good day Sir,Pls could you help me check this VIN REPORT: 1HGCM56373A111449. Thanks for your urgent response. |

Olisa4all: hello car-docI find it shocking that you used about 7 litres instead of 3 litres. Was the transmission giving problems before the oil change?? would advise you read the car manual on how to check the Transmission oil level. Too much transmission oil can mess things up as well. |
shadows*:Try a Mobil V power fuel system cleaner; you can try it out twice in a row. Then afterwards consider other options. Many things can cause this code, so it is wiser to start with the simpler solutions. |
hen6kay: House, Pls where can i get genuine front Brake Pads for my Honda Accord 2005 model? the one i changed recently always make whitsle sound when retarding. thanksTry this guys: Autoselect: http://www.autoselectcorp.com/replacementparts.html |
tee2faith: Users of Honda Accord and all, please help o.This is a sign that you either have leaky oil seals or leaky something; it could also be that your engine is a bit worn for a light oil. Is the Engine smoking Try using a total 20W 50, I guess it is a leaky seal, look under your car to check for signs of oil splash. |
car-doctor:Hi Car-Doctor, kindly advise me: Would you recommend changing the Automatic Transmission Gear Box to a Tokunbo when it fails or do you believe it can be rebuilt to perform almost like a new one. If yes, what option cost most, using Accord 2003 as an example can you give a quote ![]() |
visitor30: Good Morning Car-doctor,If I were you what I will do is google it up and see what Nissan suggests. Just like engine oil, ATFs also have ratings. e.g DEXTRON II, DEXTRON III are international ratings, so conoil can make DEXTRON II and A.P can make DEXTRON II; as long as it is DEXTRON II rated that is what is important etc. And that is what I have done; I have googled it up for you ( http://www.courtesyparts.com/pdf/1998-Nissan-Pathfinder.pdf ). This is what Nissan says quoting from the Nissan pathfinder Manual 1998: "USE ONLY Nissan Matic D (ContinentalU.S. and Alaska) or Genuine Nissan Automatic Transmission Fluid (Canada). DexronTM III/MerconTM or equivalent may also be used. Outside the continental United States and Alaska contact a NISSAN dealer for more information regarding suitable fluids, including recommended brand(s) of DexronTM III/MerconTM or DexronTM IIE/MerconTM Automatic Transmission Fluid." So my verdict will be look for Nissan Matic D or the improved version of it (not likely to find it in Nigerian Market though); otherwise a DEXTRON III rated ATF should do, I think OANDO is the popular choice. |
waash: Hi Doc, own a Honda Accord 2005 DX, 2.4l Engine, A/T. About 4 weeks ago, noticed car was dragging b4 shifting into 4 (around 80km/h). about last week, noticed some noise around driver's side of engine. 3 days ago, lost gear suddenly (car just screaming) so I stopped & shifted to P, shifted back to D and drove home.If your Transmission fluid was already Black or dark brown before changing to the conoil ATF, you may need to get a good mechanic to flush the transmission before replacing it with another ATF. But if it wasn't very dark in color, it may be safe to assume that your transmission doesn't have a lot of sludge in it, so go ahead and replace it with OANDO DEXTRON III, but remember just as a temporary replacement. (This is what Honda suggests; it is inside the manual). After doing that, ask around for where you can get original Honda ATF z1, if you can't find anyone that sells in Nigeria. order it from Amazon, you can easily use shippyme.com to send it down to Nigeria. It shouldn't cost more than 25k, but remember your car should work almost perfectly with the OANDO DEXTRON III, the only reason you are changing to HONDA ATF Z1, is because Honda used some peculiar materials in their transmission which may wear or eat up with other ATFs. Honda has gone ahead to add some other chemicals the ATF-Z1 to help you with that. |
